MC remained still, his heart pounding after witnessing the vision. The symbol in the sand slowly faded as the night breeze swept across the beach.
Nami watched him closely. "Are you sure about what you saw?"
MC nodded, still trying to process everything. "I don't know who that man was… but he clearly had power over the ocean."
Nami bit her lip, deep in thought. "Then we need to find out more. Maybe there's something on this island that can give us a clue."
Before they could discuss further, a deep rumbling sound echoed from the sea.
Suddenly, the tides surged unnaturally, as if responding to an unseen force.
MC and Nami jumped to their feet, bracing for whatever was coming. The waves grew stronger, and in the distance, a tall shadow stood atop the water, watching them.
"The chosen one… you have finally arrived."
The voice was deep, resonating as if it came from the depths of the ocean itself.
MC tensed. "Who are you?!"
The shadow didn't answer immediately. Instead, it raised a hand, and the seawater around it began to swirl, forming a vortex that slowly advanced toward the shore.
Nami grabbed MC's arm. "We need to get out of here!"
But before they could move, MC felt something tighten around his legs—like the ocean itself was holding him in place.
"I did not come to fight…" the voice said. "But to test if you are worthy."
Without warning, the whirlpool intensified, and MC felt himself being pulled into the sea!
"MC!" Nami lunged for his hand, but the force of the water was too strong.
In an instant, MC was swallowed by the darkness of the ocean…
As he opened his eyes underwater, what he saw made his breath catch.
At the bottom of the sea, embedded in the ocean floor, lay an ancient temple glowing with an eerie blue-green light.
Carved into the structure was a name—one that, for some reason, felt strangely familiar to him:
"Temple of Poseidon—Tomb of the Forgotten Sea King."
MC had no time to think, because at that moment, a colossal creature with gleaming eyes emerged from the abyss—charging straight at him!
