Chapter Begins:
The 15 ft tall Inferi King Arthur cocked his skeletal head left and right, looking at the existence coming forward to confront him.
In blue and gold armor, and with a tattered red cloak, the Inferi left the throne behind, the crown on his head creaking.
He brandished the Excalibur, dragging it over the dead bodies, his gait unhurried.
Kai reciprocated with a step of his own, the lust of a good battle rising within him, fanned by the warm-up with Beelzemon in the last Circle.
King Arthur paused, raised his sword, took a stance with the tip of the sword pointed at the intruders, and bent his knees slightly.
Kai hissed.
Muscles squirmed, bones itched, and the cell throbbed in pain and pleasure as Blood Flames, now a manifestation of his Reiatsu as well, covered him.
A skin-tight, red armor appeared over Kai's body, covering him from head to toe.
The armor seemed to ripple here and there as if it was made of fog and two, curved horns protruded on Kai's head, his white hair flailing out in the open.
Murasame and Sounga squirmed in his hands, their bones itching.
With a whoosh, Kai and the Inferi vanished.
Metal kissed metal, letting out an inhumane, ghostly screech.
Kai pressed the two swords down.
The Inferi pushed Excalibur up.
The sword glowed golden, and with a resounding BOOM, threw Kai back to wherever he had come from.
The entire world spun as Kai flapped around left and right in the air.
Then his legs struck the earth, bent, and he toppled.
For the length of a full five hundred metres, Kai skidded on the blood-stained meadow before his body came to a rest.
There he lay for a second, his face planted down in the grass.
The Inferi took the stance again.
Kai's body stirred and he used the swords to prop himself up.
A grunt escaped his throat as he cracked the stiffness in his neck and shoulders. When he looked at the swords, he found them smiling back at him.
"Ah, that felt good," Sounga said, the pommel letting out an evil purple glow. "What about you, kid?"
Murasame's blade flashed back in response.
Oh, she felt alright as well, Kai guessed.
Kai turned around, looked at King Arthur, and smiled. "Not bad… for someone already dead, eh?"
Boom!
A pillar of blood flames surrounded Kai, lifting his white hair. They flapped like a banner of blood.
Yellow bolts of lightning crackled in his surroundings, the end of his hair glowing yellow.
Meg and others, save Red Sun, stepped back, hoping their master would be merciful with the Haki.
"They say Undead are weak against lightning," Kai said, crouching, his figure hidden in the blood pillar of Reiatsu. "Is that true?"
Unseen and unknown to the Inferi, Kai's body was undergoing a tremendous change under the effect of the new Blood Devour.
No. It wasn't the time to test Deoxys.
It was time for a change —
— vastly different than before.
Kai's entire skin became scalding hot, letting out red-gray steam.
The thing inside his chest squirmed with devious and demonic pleasure.
A round eye appeared in the middle of his forehead.
Six enormous gray horseshoe magnets tipped blue and red, protruded out from his back, the colored tips facing outside.
It made it feel like he had grown wings of steel.
From the back of his neck, a screw circled out. Two more screws circled out of his shoulders, two from the back of his wrists, and two from his knees.
The bizarre transformation hadn't ended there, though.
Suddenly, everything within a radius of 1000 metres around Kai boiled and then his feet left the earth, making him hover like a god.
The most bizarre god of flames, steel, and wrath.

Kai lifted Sounga and a purple, evil dragon took shape around it.

At the center of this crater, Kai and King Arthur danced around each other, magnificently attacking and parrying with their swords.
Thundering red blurs met holy darkness, bombarding the space.
They were so fast, in fact, that only Red Sun and Moraine, who was using the Rescue Armor, could barely see something more than the flashes.
Like two strokes of brush, the swordsmen hurled up and down, bent on hacking the other.
King Arthur raised Excalibur to block and Kai used Telekinesis to push the sword aside and attacked.
The Inferi took only a moment to resist the Telekinesis and used the momentum to raise the power behind the blow.
Murasame took the blow and then Kai raised Sounga again.
Now wary and experienced, the Inferi's armor pulsed with a blue glow, creating a magical shield around it.
And that was all Kai had needed.
The attack was a feint!
