Chapter 74: Exploring Said Dungeon.
Chapter 74: Exploring Said Dungeon.
*Celia’s POV*
Shit… this dungeon is boring! That is what I would say, if I could actually explore it… I am still in the same room as before, since there is an odd looking door, that will not open at all. I have tried EVERYTHING, but nothing will open it…
Maybe magic would work, but I cannot use any magic in this dungeon, it seems. Did those higher beings teleport me here just to mess with me? Again!? Frankly, I was beyond bored, so I just got a mini dungeon core, and teleported back to my dungeon.
I mean… that was what I wanted to do, but it didn’t work either… What the fuck? Are those higher beings trying to starve me to death!? Jokes on them, Ria packs my pouch full of food almost every day! From what she told me, it was just on the off chance that I get trapped, or lost, like what just now happened.
So, I won’t starve, for at least a week or two. But I am still completely stuck in this dungeon… Well, it is a cave, but I am pretty sure that it is a dungeon, going by that cool looking door.
Why even the door, though? It’s like seeing a randomly placed asset in a game. Granted, it is a stone door, but it still looks out of place in this cave…
Um… Ria? Can you hear me?… Nope, no response at all… Maybe I can get out through the hole I fell into? I checked back where I fell, well I didn’t get into the water, but I could see that the hole was actually now gone… Are those higher beings really trying to kill me off!?
With great frustration, I walked back over to the weird door, and tried even more things to get it to open up. But nothing worked at all! Motherfucker! Why am I even here in this place? Could you… I don’t know, at least give me a sign? Nope. What was I even expecting from these assholes?…
Celia: “Open Sesame!” I yell with a frustrated tone.
Of course, that didn’t work, so I started to walk away, just to find a place to sit down at. That was, until I heard the door opening… Looking back, it was now open. What the fuck!? There is no way that random ass phrase actually opened up the door! I am being pranked! Whatever… I decided to just walk through the door, and be frustrated later.
Brick lined corridors were what awaited me. Yup, this was definitely a dungeon. I took out my sword from my pouch, as I need to be on alert. After walking for a few minutes, I heard the sound of rattling, and something walking. Stopping in place, I waited for whatever is coming my way, to actually show up.
It was a skeleton! But, like, one that actually moves, and stuff. Since it had a sword, it rushed up to me, and tried to cut me down. But I also have a sword, and I was easily able to deal with the skeleton boy.
Not! I totally lied! Rather than a sword, he had an actual handgun! Most people from this world probably would have died, since they didn’t understand what the skeleton’s weapon was.
As for me, once it shot at me, I dodged to the left, and then rushed over to it, before cutting the bone hand that held the handgun off. At that point, the skeleton didn’t have any means of attacking me, besides its bones. I pushed it down to the ground, and then crushed its skull with my foot.
Okay… What the fuck? Looking at the skeleton, it had a modern US military uniform on. Though it was slightly worn, it was still in decent shape. But that begs the question, if time works faster within dungeons, why is this skeleton’s clothes in such a decent condition? This dude must have wandered into this dungeon before the end world ended, which proves that I was right about dungeons popping up in my past life.
If that is the case, then why the heck is this dude’s clothes not complete dust by this point? Thousands of years have passed in reality, which means that even more time would have passed within this odd dungeon… Ah, right, teehee! I can just use Inspect on this dude’s remains, to figure shit out, silly me!

A ghost skeleton, is a skeletal creature, that doesn’t age whatsoever. Moving remains that usually come from a being that had much regret about dying.
How to best fight such beings, isn’t known at all. As some Skeleton Ghost’s, can either be basically harmless, or the remains of an ancient mage. Extreme Caution is advised before deciding to engage in battle.

Good to know that my memory of military uniforms that I learned in college, actually helped me out somewhat. Kinda sad that this dude even had a name, but at least I finally let him rest. But did that say that he drops old weapons!?
Swallowing my saliva, I pick up the handgun. And I actually was able to take it! It looked like it was a M1911A1, though, taking the mag out, it wasn’t chambered in 45 ACP, but 9MM instead. I guess that this dude really likes the look of a M1911A1, but wanted it in 9MM rather than 45 ACP.
Digging through the clothes of the skeleton, I find a few extra mags of 9MM. I put both the handgun, and the extra mags into my pouch. I would love to use them right now, but I might not get many more firearms, or even ammo. Rather than use it all, I should just keep it so that I can figure out exactly how such a firearm is made.
Which would greatly speed up the process of me making firearms! I looked through the skeleton’s clothes a bit more, but all I found was a folded up photo. Since I wasn’t looking to be sad at the moment, I just put it back where I found it.
Now I am even more interested in this dungeon! Who knows, maybe by the end of this dungeon, I’ll end up with an entire armory of firearms! As I was thinking this, shots rang out near me.
The heck? Is it another person, or are the skeletons just trigger happy? Whatever it is, I should go investigate it. More firearms, or a cute girl, regardless of what I find, I must push on!
