 Deborah POV 

 Chapter four

I rushed upstairs to my room and closed the door behind me. Still giggling to myself I laid on the bed and unlocked my phone

Deborah:hi(I typed)

Kenneth :how you doing?(he replied immediately)

Deborah:cool, wby,wyd?

Kenneth:having dinner,wby?

Deborah:already did

Kenneth:oh okay 

 ^about a minute later ^

Deborah:are you busy?

Kenneth:I was watching a movie sorry

Deborah:no don't be. I will just allow you watch your movie we can surely talk later 

Kenneth:no I really want to talk to you(he added a shy emoji)

Deborah:oh okay.what do you want to talk about?

Kenneth:hun are you in a relationship?

Deborah: of course not

Kenneth: why not?

Deborah:no reasons. It just never seemed necessary 

Kenneth: oh, so can we be friends ?

Deborah: sure I don't mind at all

Kenneth: kk

Deborah:so what movie are you watching

Kenneth: it a series, it called stranger things

Deborah: I never had the wits to watch more than the first episode 

Kenneth: it just a movie( he added a laughing emoji)

Deborah:right

Kenneth: I gat to go.later okay? Goodnight 

Deborah: okay goodnight ( I switched my phone off .I danced as I rushed to the bathroom to have my bath and change into my pajamas.I laid back in bed smiling and daydreaming till I fell asleep)

 *Three days later*

I was searching for a textbook I needed for a research in the library when ay and emmanuella rushed in

Deborah: what up with you girls.why in so much hurry?( I asked suprised at how much they seemed to be panicking)

Ay: there's a new girl in sss3( she replied breathlessly)

Deborah:so? ( I raised and eyebrow)

Emmanuella: we think she's Kenneth girlfriend ( she dropped the bomb)

Deborah:( my eyes almost popped out of their sockets .Kenneth didn't mention a girlfriend in the past few days to me. I stood up and hurried out of the library just in time to see Kenneth kiss the new girl in her lips . No doubt she was pretty, really pretty and she looked so good standing besides Kenneth. I looked on for a long time until I realized Kenneth's gaze on me. He walked away into his class with the new girl. I placed my hand over my mouth and rushed to the rest room.I rinsed my face bad stared at myself in the mirror trying to figure out what was happening)

Shindara:too bad.did you ever think my cousin would like you?(she asked standing at the entrance to the restroom)

Deborah:what are you talking about?(I glared at her)

Shindara:(she smirked) he as a girlfriend as you can see. Leave him be ( she chuckled and walked away)

Deborah:( I rest my body to the wall and began to sob gently . After a while I cleaned my tears ,rinsed my first tor the third time and walked out)

 *break*

 I was having lunch and talking to the girls when Kenneth walked in with with his girlfriend and the new girlfriend whose name who happened to be Charlotte.I stared at them even though it kinda hurt to .Kenneth caught me staring and i looked away hurriedly. I dropped my spoon we walked out without stopping to answer ay and emmanuella who kept calling me . I walked to the library and started distracting my self with novels and some other interesting books. Later on when the bell went out and I went back to class and spent the rest of the day with my head bent over my desk. The day was almost over when mrs smith walked in with a new kid. I didn't look up all through and only realized what was happening when someone tapped me .I looked up and smiling at me was Martins.

Martins:hi( he smiled and sat down beside me)what are you reading?(he pointed at the book lying on my desk which happens to be the one I had been using to distract myself in the library but had gotten bored of)

Deborah: it none if your business 

Martins: that no way to talk to a friend(he frowned)

Deborah:you are not my friend( I replied angrily and walked away to join the girls)

Ay:Debby are you alright ?(she asked concerned )

Emmanuella:and what just happened.you just snubbed the new guy.do you know him before?

Deborah:(I looked at AYO)I am fine(them to Emmanuella)he his my dad's best friends son 

Emmanuella:then why did you ignore him

Ay:he his practically good looking

Deborah: (I stared at Both of them with disgust)I don't like him,can we not talk about this

Ay:(nods) so are you still going for the post of headgirl?

Deborah:of course^it my only way to get my reveng on shindara^

Emmanuel's:I never saw what happened today coming

Deborah:can we avoid that conversation please ,thank you ( I turned back to my boring novel)

 I got home and found my parents at home watching a movie in the living room

Deborah:good evening mum and dad(I greeted)

Dad:what wrong honey?(he asked looking concerned )

Deborah:(I shook my head) I don't want to talk about it

Dad:(he and my mum shared a look) are you sure Deborah:(I nod playing with my fingers)

Mum:why don't you go upstairs , have a bath then get something to eat okay?

Deborah:okay mum(I headed upstairs)

Dad:and your sister is back home (he yelled )

Deborah:what!( I rushed upstairs to my sisters room and braged in. I found my sister on the bed and jumped in her )I missed you so much(I placed kisses amm o we her face repeatedly)

Fikayo:(laughs heartily) calm down ( she struggles to get up)

Deborah: you didn't tell me you were coming ?

Fikayo:suprise(she smiled and punched my cheek)How was school ?

Deborah:(I sighed) do you think you can convince dad to change my school?

Fikayo:of course not !you know that the best school any one could attend

 Deborah: I can go out of the country too you know(I argued further)

Fikayo:why so determined?

Deborah:I don't want to talk about it(I stood up and headed the door) I will see you later ( I walked out)

 I got to my room.had my bath and when I was done I did my assignments and read some books then I got ready to sleep.I was just about dozing off when my sister walked in

Fikayo: hey LIL sis( she walked over and gave me a glass of milk)you didn't come down for dinner

Deborah:I was not hungry . Thank you for the milk 

Fikayo:debby what wrong?

Deborah:nothing( I lied)

Fikayo: that not true.tell me what wrong?

Deborah:( I sighed and explained things to her) I just wished he told me you know(I began to cry)I'm sorry

Fikayo:(she hugs me and begins to pat my head softly. Few minutes later I was already feeling sleepy)you are the best sis ever(I whispered before falling asleep)
