Chapter 24: Chapter 24: Bandits
First of all I want to apologize for the fact that I deleted all chapters from the book for a while. I admit I have been losing interest in this story for a while now, since I have almost no idea how to make characters interact with each other and how to make the story interesting. However I decided that I will continued to write this even if I have to force myself.(Until I find myself to a point of no return that is.)
On another note
Let me clarify something. I know nothing about science, everything I write, I search on the internet and then I add some of my own ideas. Don't take it seriously.

[Solon POV]
The discovery of new kind of molecules opened a new door for me. I didn't have to be so stuck with the earth anymore.
I started to study the trees inside the forest. Not just the trunk, I also studied their leaves and their fruits. That lead me to find out that although their created from different molecules, their molecules are created from similar atoms.
This led me to believe that particles are one of the constant existences. That has to be the reason there was nothing about them in the Akashic record.
[Third POV]
This has led to Solon searching for new kinds of molecules to find out about their characteristics.
'What about this mushroom?' he thought as he walked closer to a glowing mushroom that was the size of a normal human child.
As he started to use his power to study the thing in front of him a high piched voice draw his attention.
"Why are you here?"
As he turned towards the sound he came face-to-face with the same mushroom he tried to study.
"I didn't know spirits could take the form of a mushroom..."
"Well I knew it, but I have never seen it with my own eyes." he continued after remembering that the record did indeed possess knowledge about that kind of spirits.
"Who are you and why are you here human?" said the mushroom as energy gathered at it's cap.
"Nice to meet you too." Solon said as he released a small amount of his aura to allow the spirit in front of him to understand that he is not a human.
The mushroom, after feeling Solon's aura understood that the one in front of it wasn't a human but a spirit much like itself, but didn't comment on it.
"May I know why you are here?" asked the mushroom.
"I started travelling in order to increase the knowledge I possess." answered Solon.
"If you want to obtain knowledge I recommend visiting Wan shi tong's library. He has the most amount of knowledge you can imagine." The mushroom suggested.
"I have been there, but even that place lacks the nessessary information about what I am studying." said Solon as he used his senses to find out if the spirit in front of him was created from molecules.
"That's interesting. You would have a hard time finding some kind of knowledge that grumpy owl doesn't possess." said the spirit unaware of the fact that he was being analysed.
Yet to his surprise the spirit wasn't made from molecules and particles like all other things he has checked. The spirit was created from a weird kind of molecule created from only neutrons that supplied it with the energy it used.
'Fascinating. Does that mean that spirits are living energy? How does that work?' He thought to himself as he continued to talk casually with the mushroom.
"You know, not many spirits pass by here nowadays."
This comment atracted Solon's interest, which led him to give up on his research and focus solely on the spirit in front of him.
"Why is that?" he asked with interest.
"There has been a team of bandits around here. They rob all earth kingdom citizens that pass by to go towards the closest settlement and they kill all spirits."
Hearing this Solon's curiosity got aroused which led him to ask more questions about this team of bandits.
"I understand them for attacking the humans and some spirits. However, why would they bother taking the risk of attacking every single spirit that passes by?"
"That is something I don't know. How about you go ask them?" said the mushroom as he clearly wanted Solon to leave.
After that Solon left, following the road hoping that he bandits attack him so ha can get his curiosity quenched.
[Solon POV]
I was walking in the road towards the closest settlement of the earth kingdom. I was aiming to visit and see how people are living nowadays. I knew that a lot of things have changed but I haven't seen them personally. I wonder if thy still use the earth to move around, it would be interesting to have some kind of rock carriage that moves with earthbending.
As I was walking, I sensed a small number of humans started closing in on me.
'Those must be the bandits.'
I continued to release a small part of my aura to inform them that I am a spirit to avoid confusing them and making my goal harder to achieve.
What I did not expect was for them to attack me without talking to me.
I agree that it's the right course of action since they are fighting the unknown, but it did make it harder for me to communicate with them.
I immediately avoided an earth spike that came from under me as well as the triang'e-shapted rock that came towards me by spinning my body around while using my power to rotate one of my feet in place and turned to look towards them.
I assume they didn't expect either of those responses. At least their surprised faces and their rapidly beating heart told me so. It has been proven that seismic sense is extremely efficient in fighting against earthbenders since I can feel the attacks forming and coming towards me.
"You must be the bandits I heard about. I would like to talk to you." I said loud enough for a large buffed man -who was wearing only pants showing off his muscles-, I assumed to be the leader to hear me.
To my surprise, a thin, weak-looking man wearing glasses and green clothes that was hiding behind a tree came out and started to talk to me.
"We won't talk with you spirit. Your kind has been killing humans since the birth of our race. We won't stop fighting until we kill all spirits and create a fair world for everyone."
After hearing what this man said, I got annoyed.
