Chapter 46: Chapter 46
After surviving the storm, I realize that it was fun. I've never felt so much adrenaline in my life. And this situation was a real test of my skills. I had to treat everyone for minor injuries for another 24 hours. I don't remember if they were all gray or if they turned gray during the ride. But it doesn't matter.
I have to go back and get Katara's mother and Sookie. Still, I had to stay and explain my plan to everyone in detail. A lot of details. I had to chew on what I had to do and why I had to do it. It's not like buying cabbage at the market, it's like blowing up factories.
But after talking to everyone, we came to the conclusion that we couldn't do it alone. We had to form teams of four to six people and make plans that at least looked realistic and feasible. After giving instructions to everyone, I sent them to the mission.
He himself, after compressing some earth, made something like an ordinary passenger car. Only I smoothed the corners and made an ice door instead of a roof. It turned out pretty good. Comfortable and safe. You could go snorkeling in one of these. When I got back, the storm was nowhere to be found.
I got to the island a lot faster than when I left. Maybe it's the good ship I have. I don't know, but the fact is.
When I got back to the island, I snuck into the prison and took Katara's mother and Sookie, along with four guards. We left the island the same way, by boat. Only this time I used only water magic. I made it to the mainland before dawn. And I was faced with a problem.
I have to follow my plan, but I can't leave her here. By the way, her name is Kaya. I couldn't leave her here, so I decided to do something. We put everyone back in the boat, and after getting some provisions, we sailed to Coal Island. We had to sail halfway across the country to get there, but it was not a big country, and in three days we were there.
When we arrived, I had to run around a bit because many people did not want to rent. But I managed to find an elderly couple who agreed not only to rent me their small house, but to sell it. I had to pay a lot of money, but it was worth it. After formalizing all the paperwork and handing over the gold, I went to get Kaya and her guards. After deciding on a few small details like clothes, food, and money for small expenses, I set sail.
Yes, I spent almost all the money on her, but I believe I did the right thing. So I went back to my plan with peace of mind.

POV Azula
Azula was in a foul mood. Oh, out of sorts, that was clearly not the word to describe her state of mind. Bad news was pouring in like it was the rainy season of trouble. First Zuzu found the Avatar, then my father told me to bring the Avatar's head to him personally, and just when I had assembled my team, the plans changed because there was a rumor that the Blood Demon was in prison.
And in our country, in the most secure prison I'd ever seen. It was bullshit, but my father was clear, and my father's word is law.
And now I'm going the wrong way. If this information turns out to be false, I will personally kill whoever started the rumor.
My father gave us a ship, but it took us a whole day to get there, and in the morning I was not in a good mood, to say the least. But we finally got to the island. A few minutes and I was on the cable car. During the ride there was time to look around. Nothing remarkable, except that it was a little too lively on the beachhead.
As soon as I got out of the gondola, the warden appeared in front of me. Interestingly, he was very pale.
«What's wrong?» I asked with interest. It would probably relieve my boredom.
«Uh... it's... the prisoners escaped», he blurted out as if jumping off a cliff.
«Escaped how exactly?» I asked, not waiting for permission to enter the prison.
«We don't know. It's just that we were missing a few people this morning», he finally mumbled.
«How many escaped?» became more and more interesting.
«Sixty-six people», he mumbled, getting even whiter. I stopped at that number and stared at the spineless creature, deciding if he was joking or not. By all appearances, he wasn't.
«You let a quarter of the prisoners escape and you don't know about it?» I asked with an air of surprise, «I see what's wrong with you. Show me the cells where the prisoners were kept. And bring me anyone who had contact with him.»
«Princess, who exactly are you talking about?»
«Ares», the warden turned pale.
«What do you mean, we never had him», the warden panicked.
«When prisoners were brought to you, were there others?» I asked with interest. And I could tell by the reaction that yes, there were: «That was him.»
«But how can that be? He was covered in blood! And he's too young.»
«Why was he covered in blood? Describe him.»
I spent a long time on the island. It turned out that five other prisoners had disappeared just before we arrived. And after examining all the cells, it wasn't hard to guess that all the escapees had been transported through cavities in the walls. And the fact that the wall is intact suggests that Ares can control the metal.
And as I listened to the descriptions of his appearance, I became more and more convinced that it was him. But why hasn't he aged? Can he change his appearance or does he not age? Questions to which I still have no answers.
