Chapter 6:
Chapter 6: The Junior Sister Saintess, Born with the Innate Dao Fetus!:
The elders in the hall were brimming with joy.
“This is how a Holy Son should act,” they thought. “How could a mere woman hinder the Holy Son’s aspirations?”
With lofty ambitions and a future destined for greatness, Su Mo was bound to become a ruler of the Eastern Wilderness. Who needed something like the Heavenly Enchantment Physique when they could rise to power just as quickly without it?
Su Mo swept his gaze across the gathered elders and asked calmly, “Do any of you have objections to what I’ve done?”
The elders shook their heads in unison.
“Holy Son, your actions in suppressing Fairy Leng Yue’s arrogance have eased our worries greatly.
“Not only that, but removing her title as Saintess shows decisiveness and wisdom!”
“Haha, Holy Son, why ask us?
“Your decisions don’t require our approval. We trust that whatever you do has its purpose.”
“Indeed, it seems we were too concerned before. The Holy Son clearly knows what needs to be done!”
The hall was filled with voices of agreement, each elder wearing a faint smile.
Su Mo had asked the question casually, not really caring about their opinions. After all, as a villain, wasn’t he supposed to act as he pleased?
His attention shifted back to the Heaven Origin Pill in his hand.
He had been preoccupied dealing with Leng Yue and hadn’t taken the time to examine the pill.
The pill was no larger than a marble, surrounded by a mist of spiritual energy and emitting a rich, fragrant aroma.
Even standing close to it and taking a breath was enough to invigorate one’s body and mind.
“This is indeed a treasure,” Su Mo thought. “But I’m already in the Profound Core realm, so consuming it would be of little use to me.”
He muttered a name under his breath, “Yun Wanqing.”
Yun Wanqing was none other than his junior sister, the acknowledged Saintess of the Absolute Void Holy Land, and someone highly respected by the elders.
A spark lit up in Su Mo’s eyes.
“That’s right, Junior Sister Wanqing is currently in the Spirit Sea realm.
“This pill is wasted on Leng Yue, but it’s a perfect gift for Wanqing!”
From what he knew, ever since the former Holy Son became infatuated with Leng Yue, his relationship with Yun Wanqing had grown distant.
Now was the perfect time to mend that bond with a meaningful gesture.
In the novel, Junior Sister Wanqing was described as someone unwaveringly loyal to the Holy Son. Right or wrong, she always stood by his side.
Moreover, she wasn’t any less outstanding than Leng Yue. In fact, in some respects, she surpassed her entirely!
“How could I not pay a visit to a beauty who’s considered one of the top ten in the Eastern Wilderness?”
Su Mo reminisced about everything the novel had revealed about Yun Wanqing.
She cultivated on Wanxia Peak within the Absolute Void Holy Land.
As the plot went, she had been found at the age of six by a ten-year-old Su Mo outside the Holy Land.
…
At the time, Yun Wanqing’s large, watery eyes sparkled with innocence, her small face smudged with dirt, evoking pity.
The young Holy Son, having spent his life in the Holy Land, had few companions of similar age.
Even those who were around avoided him, intimidated by his status as the Holy Son.
Feeling bored and stifled within the Holy Land, Su Mo had sneaked out in search of excitement.
When they first met, Yun Wanqing had looked at Su Mo, resplendent in his fine robes, with hostility.
In hindsight, it was amusing.
“Get lost! This is my territory!” the six-year-old Yun Wanqing had shouted, waving her tiny fists to scare off the Holy Son.
Accustomed to being revered by everyone except his parents, Su Mo found her defiance intriguing.
Feigning maturity, he replied, “Your territory? The Absolute Void Holy Land governs tens of thousands of kilometers. How can this little hill belong to you, a mere child?
“Are you planning to declare yourself a queen at such a young age?”
Yun Wanqing, oblivious to the concept of the Holy Land, pouted angrily and said, “Leave, or I’ll make you regret it!”
“Hah! Feisty little thing. Where are your parents? I don’t feel like teaching you a lesson myself, so I’ll let them handle it,” Su Mo said, hands behind his back as he approached her slowly.
Hearing the word “parents,” Yun Wanqing’s eyes welled up with tears, her voice trembling as she murmured, “Dad… Mom…”
The next moment, she burst into tears, sobbing loudly.
The young Holy Son was taken aback.
How had his playful teasing reduced her to tears so quickly?
Not knowing what to do, he sighed and gently patted her head. “Don’t cry. Come with me. I’ll help you find your parents. If we can’t, I’ll take care of you myself.”
“Really?” Yun Wanqing sniffled, looking at him with hopeful eyes.
“Really,” Su Mo assured her.
And so, he brought Yun Wanqing back to the Absolute Void Holy Land.
The sight of her had shocked the Grand Elders.
“Unbelievable! The Holy Son has brought back a treasure!”
“This little girl possesses the Innate Dao Fetus!
“Such a physique is inherently attuned to the Dao and grants her an advantage in any battle!”
“This must be the Holy Son’s destiny. Legends say that if someone with this physique were to unite with the Sacred Physique of the Eastern Wilderness, they could produce the mythical Innate Sacred Dao Fetus.
“Such a physique rivals even the Chaos Physique, one of the strongest in existence!”
…
The Grand Elders circled around the dirt-covered little girl, marveling endlessly at her potential.
Given her compatibility with the Holy Son’s physique, it was only natural for her to be named the Saintess of the Absolute Void Holy Land.
Of course, Su Mo’s unauthorized excursion wasn’t overlooked. He was punished by the Holy Lord himself, wailing pitifully as a result.
Even now, Yun Wanqing still felt guilty, believing his punishment had been her fault.
Fast forward to the present, and at just under sixteen years old, Yun Wanqing was already a Spirit Sea Realm cultivator. In terms of talent, she was no less remarkable than Su Mo himself.
Having been rescued by Su Mo as a child, she relied on him heavily and even harbored a quiet affection for him.
Unfortunately, the former Holy Son had always regarded her as nothing more than a younger sister.
Worse still, after Leng Yue joined the Holy Land, the Holy Son had rarely visited Yun Wanqing on Wanxia Peak, neglecting her entirely.
The situation grew more awkward when the Holy Son personally appointed Leng Yue as a second Saintess.
It was well-known that most Holy Lands only had one Holy Son and one Saintess, except in rare cases requiring unique cultivation methods.
Adding a second Saintess was nothing short of chaotic, leaving Yun Wanqing in a highly uncomfortable position.
To outsiders, it might have even seemed like Yun Wanqing had done something wrong to warrant the appointment of another Saintess.
Shaking his head, Su Mo muttered, “It looks like making amends with Junior Sister will take some effort.”
Dismissing the elders, Su Mo turned and floated toward Wanxia Peak, Heaven Origin Pill in hand.
