Kumogi then grabbed a bite at the nearby McDonald's, but his mind kept thinking about how to beat the Crazy Crescent Moon boss! As he was munching on his burger, he overheard a conversation behind him.

"Hey bro, did you beat Gun-Nac yet?" said a high schooler with short hair.

His friend, a slightly long-haired boy, sighed. "No, it's really hard! Especially that freaking moon! How are you even supposed to beat it?"

Kumogi grinned and nodded to himself. 'I know your pain, kid!'

However, the short-haired boy scoffed. "That's because you just suck! Bet you haven't even met Zabo-man in Gun-Nac, have you?"

His friend looked confused. "Huh? How do you meet him anyway? The clue says, 'When the time comes, don't hit, only dodge, and I will find you.' That's so weird!"

Kumogi's eyes widened in realization. He had read that clue too! Then, the short-haired boy grinned and revealed the secret. "All you need to do is avoid the boss! Don't hit the boss for around four minutes, and Zabo-man will appear!"

"WHAT!?" Kumogi blurted out, startling the two high schoolers. They turned to look at him weirdly. He coughed and awkwardly said, "Sorry, kids. Your conversation is just really interesting. I play Gun-Nac too."

The boys' eyes lit up. "Oh! Uncle, you play Gun-Nac too? Have you beaten it yet?" asked the slightly long-haired kid.

Kumogi shook his head. "Just like your friend, that freaking moon is pissing me off!"

The long-haired boy nodded in sympathy. "I know, right? By the way, I'm Wataru!"

The short-haired boy introduced himself as well. "I'm Endo! What about you, Uncle?"

"Kumogi," he said with a grin. "Anyway, Endo-kun, what do you mean by 'you need to avoid the boss to let Zabo-man appear'?"

Endo grinned wider. "Exactly what I said. You need to persistently dodge for exactly four minutes for Zabo-man to appear. But be careful! If you don't attack for the first two minutes, the boss's speed will double!"

Kumogi's eyes widened. "WHAT!? That's diabolical! That sounds even harder than just beating the boss itself!"

Wataru nodded in agreement. "I know, right?"

Kumogi and the high schoolers continued chatting about Gun-Nac for a while before he finally excused himself. With renewed determination, he was ready to challenge that infuriating moon once more!

Back home, Kumogi booted up his console, inhaling deeply. "Alright, you shitty moon, bring it on!"

He fought the Crazy Crescent Moon over and over, retrying at least a dozen times. But then—finally—

"OGHH YEAGHH!" Kumogi jumped in victory as the moon boss exploded into pixels. "Take that, you bastard!"

His adrenaline was through the roof, but there was no time to celebrate. He continued to the final stage—Sun Star Interior.

Here, he faced the Final Boss—The Alien.

In its first phase, the Alien was invisible. Only occasional shimmering lights revealed its tentacle-like form.

"What the hell!? I can't even see it properly! That's cheating!"

He kept dying over and over, its unpredictable attacks tearing through his ship. But Kumogi was stubborn. He refused to give up and retried again and again.

Finally, he beat phase 1 and he reached Phase 2.

Now, the Alien revealed its true form—a grotesque mix of carapace and snake-like body, darting left and right at insane speeds while launching an overwhelming barrage of projectiles.

"This thing moves way too fast!" Kumogi gritted his teeth, dodging frantically. He managed to last five minutes in the second phase, but—

"What the hell!? Why is it still alive!?"

And then he died.

"AGHHH!" Kumogi threw his controller at a pillow, screaming in frustration. He slumped back, breathing heavily, before regaining his composure. "Okay… calm down. One more time."

This time, he persisted. Minute after grueling minute passed , he persist until like 7 minutes in phase 2 !, until—

BANG!

The final boss exploded in a dazzling display. Kumogi stared at the screen in disbelief before letting out an exhilarated cheer. "OH YEAH! I BEAT IT! WOOHOO!!"

The ending sequence played:

*The threat posed by the invader has been cleared, and peace has returned to the nation. The people praise Commander Gun-Nac and forge a stronger path to preserve peace, Commander Gun-Nac he become figure of legend of the nation *

As the credits rolled, three smiling girls appeared on the screen, with the words:

You Are The Master.

Kumogi grinned, feeling pure satisfaction. "Damn right, I am!"

But his excitement wasn't over yet. "Let's test that Zabo-man Easter egg! It should work on any boss, right?"

He restarted the game, cleared the first few stages, and reached the first boss, Rabbit Talatta.

"Alright. No attacking, just dodging!"

For two minutes, Kumogi weaved through the Rabbit's carrot missile attacks easily. Then—suddenly—the boss paused. Its eyes gleamed, and its speed skyrocketed!

"Whoa! What the hell!?"

The previously slow carrot missiles turned into a machine gun barrage! Kumogi clenched his teeth, dodging with all his might. Then, at the four-minute mark—

A sudden flash filled the screen.

A spaceship with a sleek black and gray color scheme, emblazoned with a giant 'Z' on the front, appeared out of nowhere accompanied with badass soundtrack!.

"No way…!" Kumogi watched in awe as the mysterious ship fired a devastating Yellow laser beam, instantly obliterating the boss.

Before vanishing off-screen, the ship passed by his player character ships, leaving behind a message:

You persist very well Commander Gun-nac. I know you can do it. You are very cool!

Kumogi burst out laughing. "Heh. Not bad! But I wonder… what would happen if I tried this with a harder boss?"

Even the usual Octopus Rock - Chan or The Alien are very hard enough, what if they on that shining eyes state! , A shiver ran down his spine at the thought.

Then, he glanced at the clock. It was already 19:00. That meant he had been playing for more than seven hours straight!

"Holy crap! I haven't even tried Metroid yet!" He rubbed his chin, contemplating. "If I keep playing, my console might overheat… I should let it rest for an hour. But then… and after that it still 20:00 I still have six more hours before I have to sleep. If I stop playing at 02:00 and go to bed at 03:00, I can still get four hours of sleep before work… Hehehe. That's more than enough! , i will woke at 07:00 and went to work like usual 07:30!"

With that, Kumogi planned his unhealthy gaming night.
