Chapter 9:
Chapter 9: A Clear Sign of Urgency:
Xiao Cheng’s left eye, constantly in the state of the mirror Sharingan, began to spin slowly, ready to unleash the skill “Amaterasu” at any moment.
The job title: Spiritual Eye, however, didn’t come with any offensive skills. Even though Xiao Cheng’s abilities were no longer as powerful as the women in his arms, his only method of attack, aside from basic strikes, was “Amaterasu.”
But…
When she heard him threaten her family once again—her daughter, her husband—Bai Yuhao instantly regained her composure. The power emanating from her body retreated in an instant. She looked at Xiao Cheng, her eyes full of despair. “I… agree to your terms. After ten kisses, I hope you will keep your word!”
“Don’t worry,” Xiao Cheng replied with a smirk. “Doesn’t Aunt trust my credibility? I promised I wouldn’t hand over the evidence to the mayor’s office, and I will never do so. I’m as honest as they come!”
He patted her smooth, trembling thigh and smiled. “By the way, Aunt, you don’t know my name, do you? It’s Xiao Cheng. Feel free to call me that from now on.”
“I’d rather call you a little thief!” She retorted.
“Haha, as long as Aunt dares to say that in front of others, I won’t mind at all!”
“You… you truly are shameless!” She replied.
“Thank you for the compliment! But Aunt, you still haven’t told me your name.”
“Zhang Xinyu.” She whispered, resigned.
After learning her name, Xiao Cheng forced her to open her personal panel and added her to his [Friends Bar]. Then, without further harassment, he got up and left the villa.
Xiao Cheng knew Zhang Xinyu was on the verge of a complete breakdown. If he pushed her any further, she might lose her mind and no longer care about her family, or the consequences of her actions. If that happened, Xiao Cheng would have no choice but to release “Amaterasu,” and Zhang Xinyu’s strength wouldn’t be enough to withstand it.
Despite everything, Xiao Cheng didn’t want to destroy such a precious toy. Zhang Xinyu wasn’t just beautiful—she was the mother of Liu Yanran, which only made her all the more valuable to him. Destroying her was something he’d only do as a last resort.
As Xiao Cheng left the villa, Zhang Xinyu remained seated on the sofa, lost in thought. She was still reeling from the darkness and despair brought upon her by the demon named Xiao Cheng.
She wasn’t foolish. She knew the promise of ten kisses was merely Xiao Cheng’s way of stringing her along. She understood that worse things awaited her—humiliations and darkness beyond what she could bear.
But… what could she do?
If they couldn’t find and destroy all the photo stones, their family’s fate would remain in Xiao Cheng’s hands. The mayor would never forgive anyone who dared to break into the secret warehouse and steal important treasures.
Zhang Xinyu didn’t know how much time had passed when she was jolted back to reality by the sound of the maid’s voice outside the villa.
Panicked, she quickly stood up and straightened her skirt. Thankfully, Xiao Cheng had only touched her thighs and kissed her against her will. The skirt wasn’t too disheveled, so she adjusted it quickly.
“Huh? Madam, aren’t you heading to the shop today?” the maid asked, surprised to see her standing by the sofa.
“I… I wasn’t feeling well, so I took a short nap.” Zhang Xinyu replied, biting her lower lip and making up an excuse. Inside, her hatred for Xiao Cheng grew stronger. A whole morning had been wasted. She didn’t even want to think about how much money she had lost because of that damned brat.
“You’re not feeling well? Should I contact a medical professional?” the maid asked with concern. “You’re a level 43 practitioner—how could you be unwell?”
“No need,” Zhang Xinyu said quickly. “Just make me a bowl of calming soup.”
“Alright,” the maid said, still worried. “Madam, I know it’s been a while since you’ve seen the master, but you need to take care of yourself. Not only is your face flushed, but your lips seem swollen. This is clearly a sign of urgency. It’s bad for your health.”
Zhang Xinyu’s face, already unusually flushed, turned an even deeper shade of red. She hurried to the bathroom as she said, “I know, Aunt Zhang. Don’t worry about me, just go ahead and start cooking.”
She couldn’t bear to let the nanny examine her any further.
If Aunt Zhang realized something was wrong, word might reach her husband, and that would be a disaster.
Her current state… it wasn’t because of her husband.
No, it was because of that vile Xiao Cheng—her daughter’s classmate, who harbored disgusting thoughts about her.
…
After leaving Zhang Xinyu’s home, Xiao Cheng pulled out a new photo stone from his pocket, a sinister grin spreading across his face.
“Aunt, you probably didn’t expect that I secretly recorded everything that just happened, did you?” he muttered to himself. “You can’t blame me for being too vicious. You’re just too tempting.”
He paused, his expression darkening.
“But, of course, it’s your daughter who’s really to blame. If it weren’t for her, I wouldn’t be venting my anger on you.”
With those words, Xiao Cheng got into the car parked outside the villa, started the engine, and sped off down the street, disappearing into the distance.
