Chapter 15 Fangs

Betty and Linda floated behind the creature that was carrying Marceline and her stuff. They couldn't quite make out the creatures features in the dark, but when it finally stepped outside into the moonlight they could see it clearly. The creature was a bald humane with pale white skin and red eyes. Though the creature appeared human, but Betty and Linda could sense that it wasn't human. They floated in front, so they could get a better look of the creature. The pale being stopped and starred at Betty and Linda. It was as if it could see them.

"Ba! Stupid spirits!" Hissed the being as he flashed his teeth revealing two big fangs in the front of his mouth before walking off.

Betty and Linda were shocked that the creature could see them. Just what was this creature and what was he planing to do with Marceline? They continued to follow him and he lead them to a large church with a cemetery. Two more pale beings stepped from the shadows and met up with the first being. Unlike the first being the other two had blond hair.

"What do you have there?" Asked one of the beings.

"A special girl for the King and Queen. She'll make an excellent addition to our forces." Said the bald creature.

The two blond creatures nodded and opened the doors to the church to let the bald creature in. Betty and Linda followed them.

Inside the church was decorated with fine art and other treasures. The bald creature made it's way to the main worship room and entered. Inside the large room there were two decorative chairs on the main stage. Sitting in the chairs were a man and woman, both of them possessed an unearthly beauty. The bald creature walked towards the couple and set Marceline on the ground as he bowed before them.

Betty and Linda flew up next to Marceline and got their first good look at the couple. The man was extremely handsome with pale skin, well trimmed black hair, and red eyes. He wore a black dress suit and on his lap was a silver crown with a black gem stone in the center. The woman was beautiful with pale skin, long black hair, and red eyes. She wore a red ball dress and a silver tiara, with a black gem on it.

"Siegfried, what have you brought us?" Asked the man as he addressed the bald creature.

"My King I found this girl inside the local library as I was out scouting." Said Siegfried.

"An interesting find." Said the woman as she looked at Marceline.

Marceline groaned and started to get up on, her hands and knees. She looked around with confusion wondering where she was at. She saw Siegfried standing over her and panicked, she saw her backpack laying on the ground next to her and dove for it. Siegfried grabbed Marceline and pinned her to the ground.

"Get off of me! Who are you?" Screamed Mareline as she tried to escape from Siegfried as he held her down.

The man smiled.

"You may release her Siegfried." He said.

Siegfried released Marceline and she faced the man and the women.

"I am Alister Nightfall and this is my wife Elsa. I am King of the Vampires!" Said Alister as he held up the crown.

"And I am Queen of the Vampires!" Said Elsa.

"Vampires...are real?" Asked Marceline as she quivered with fear.

"We're are most certainly real." Said Elsa.

"Now that you've told us your name, why don't you tell us your name." Said Alister as he starred directly at Marceline's eyes.

"I'm...Marceline Abadeer." Said Marceline.

Alister and Elsa shared a look. Then a smile spread across their faces.

"The daughter of the Lord of Evil in our presence. This must be fate!" Said Elsa.

"Indeed it must. Quite a good find. She will be an excellent addition to our forces." Said Alister.

"What are you talking about?" Asked Marceline.

"We plan to make you one of us dear." Said Elsa with a smile.

Marceline paled and a frightened look of concern appeared on Betty and Linda's faces.

"You see Marceline our kind have been hiding in the shadows for centuries. Ever since the fall of Count Dracula, our kind have been forced to keep a low profile, unless we wanted to be exterminated by the humans. We've been feeding on humans that nobody would have noticed if they went missing. We've been playing a waiting game, just waiting for the humans to destroy and lessen themselves, so we could rise from the shadows and take the world for ourselves. Then that day finally came and the humans have exterminated themselves. Now we can rise up and create a new world order!" Said Alister as he stood up.

Elsa stood up and waved her arms at the room.

"It's ironic that were using this old church as a base. No one would every suspect that there was a large number of vampires here. This is only the beginning. Soon we will have a giant castle to rule from." Said Elsa.

"I won't join you!" Said Marceline with defiance.

Elsa frowned as Alister walked over to Marceline.

"Marceline I'm giving you the chance of a lifetime. Think about it I'm going make you immortal and give all kinds of powers. You can have whatever you want in my world. Why refuse, such a perfect opportunity? After all were so much alike." Said Alister.

"I'm nothing like you!" Said Mareline.

"Oh quit fooling yourself, were more alike then you know." Said Elsa as she stood before Marceline. "You have darkness in you girl. Just like us. You're going to turn evil. It's in your heritage. So why don't you just stop fighting and give into it. Will help you out."

"I'm...not evil! I don't care what you say! Heritage doesn't decided your fate!" Shouted Marceline.

"How foolish. You honestly think you can change your fate? Don't be absurd! You have the demon blood of the Lord of Evil running through you veins! Your destiny has already been decided. Fate has brought you to us, so we can turn you into a vampire and make you serve us! We will conquer the world and start a new world order! That is your fate!" Declared Alister as he towered over Marceline his eyes glowing like coals.

"You're wrong. Somebody very important to me told me that I wasn't a monster and that I could become whatever I chose to be. I'm not evil and I refuse to serve someone like you!" Said Marceline as she clenched her fist and threw a punch at Alister.

Alister easily dodged the punch, got behind Marceline, and grabbed her by the back of the neck.

"A touching little speech, but I'm afraid you have no choice. You will serve me. Allow me to show you the true power of the vampire." Said Alister as he extended his fangs and bit into the left side of Marceline's neck!

"MARCELINE!" Cried Betty and Linda.

Marceline felt her entire being go cold. Everything started to go dark as she slowly started loosing consciousness. Alister pulled his fangs out of Marceline's neck and handed over to Siegfried.

"Lock her up in the cellar, until she has completely transformed." Said Alister as he wiped blood from his mouth.

Siegfried nodded as he walked away carrying Marceline. Betty and Linda floated behind them with worried looks on their faces. Alister and Elsa sat back in their chairs pleased with themselves. Alister reached behind his chair and pulled out a bottle of red wine and two glasses. He poured himself and Elsa a drink and they had a toast.

"Here's to our newest recruit and a huge step forward to conquering the world." Said Alister.

"Here. Here." Said Elsa as they toasted and drank their wine.

In the cellar Marceline was thrown into a locked room. Marceline laid on the floor shivering in a cold sweat as the wound from the bite wounds bleed a little. Linda and Betty hovered over Marceline not sure what to do. Things were looking grim.
