Chapter 161: jiren
Mark was struck and sent flying back, his wolf-like hands covered in purple fur trembling slightly.
"Interesting," Mark thought as he landed, creating a long hundred-meter ditch in the ground.
"Come on, get serious, Mark," Kira said, stepping out of the dust. Her clothes remained pristine, accentuating her curvaceous figure.
"Hahaha, honestly, your law is quite fascinating. My hands actually shook," Mark praised, and Kira merely smiled.
Boom!
Space collapsed, and time dilated. Reality warped as Kira appeared directly above Mark's head.
Boom!
A shockwave spread out, destroying everything in its path, as Mark caught Kira's leg with his left hand. Raising an eyebrow, Mark flung her away.
Boom!
Wrom!
Reality was collapsing as their fight intensified, with Mark now fighting back, though he kept his power at her level.
Boom!
"Damn, they should chill, yo," Marcule muttered, shielding his eyes as the two combatants unleashed their laws.
"We can go fist for fist," Kira said with a grin.
"We can go law for law," Mark replied, smiling as they resumed their battle.
The first layer of space collapsed.
The second layer.
The third layer...
The area was completely isolated, turning into a forbidden zone for ordinary beings.
Kira's father watched on, clearly impressed. Mark was nearing the 50% mark in mastering his strength. Soon, it was guaranteed that he would reach Rank 3.
Boom!
A figure flew out and crashed into the ground, creating a massive five-hundred-meter crater.
Kira stood up, blood trickling from her lips.
"I think that should be enough for a spar," Mark said, watching as Kira wiped the blood away.
"Yes," Kira replied. She now had a greater understanding of her law and her strength.

Void watched from above as Vegeta and Goku struggled with their training. Without the ability to go Super Saiyan, the doubled weights made things difficult for them, just like in the original series. Vegeta was particularly shocked by the challenge.
As time went on, Void occasionally "sparred" with them. Though, from his perspective, it wasn't a spar but more of a brutal beatdown. Void's harsh training exploited the Saiyan trait of growing stronger after near-death experiences, accelerating their power growth.
And then, it happened.
During a sparring match, Vegeta and Goku threw punches that collided.
As their fists connected, a surge of divine blue energy erupted.
"That's it," Void thought.
"Ah!" Vegeta gasped, stunned by what had just occurred.
"Super Saiyan Blue," Void thought, watching as Goku and Vegeta smiled at their newfound power.
Whis began teaching them how to control the godly ki and fuse it with their Super Saiyan form.
After some time, both were ready.
"You have to visualize the strength you desire and integrate the godly energy into your Super Saiyan form. Integration is easy; control is the hard part," Whis explained as Goku and Vegeta listened intently, while Void floated nearby.
After intense focus and effort, they finally achieved the transformation.
"Ahhhhhhh!"
The planet trembled as rocks levitated and shattered into fragments. Their auras reached the divine stage, and their hair and eyes turned blue, completing the transformation.
"I did it!" Vegeta exclaimed, laughing as he felt the overwhelming power coursing through him. Enjoy new tales from My Virtual Library Empire
"It's like the Super Saiyan form of Super Saiyan God," Goku said, awestruck.
Void observed calmly, knowing that soon they would go to Earth to face Frieza. This was what excited him—the chance to devour some souls. It had been far too long.
After some time, Goku looked up at Void and smiled. He and Vegeta had mastered their new form, and the next logical step was to test it in battle.
"Void, how about we fight?" Goku asked with a laugh.
"As annoying as kakarot is, I agree with him this time, Void. Let's fight," Vegeta added, appearing beside Goku with a grin.
"I guess you're excited because of this little power-up," Void said calmly.
"Very well then. Come at me together," Void said indifferently.
Goku placed two fingers on his forehead and disappeared.
"Instant Transmission," Void thought as he felt an attack coming from behind.
Boom!
The sound echoed, but Void didn't budge. He turned calmly to face Goku.
"Hit harder; that almost tickled," Void taunted just as Vegeta launched a kick to his face.
Boom!
"Are you trying to kill me or make me laugh?" Void asked, unimpressed, as another beating unfolded.

Shortly after, Whis and Beerus decided to head to Earth. Goku and Vegeta, now healed, joined them. Void expressed his intention to tag along, and they agreed.

On Earth...
The Z-Warriors found themselves in dire straits, as Frieza had returned with his army. Using the Dragon Balls, Frieza had been resurrected.
Zhim!
Whis, Beerus, Goku, Vegeta, and Void appeared on Earth.
Void observed calmly as the original scene played out. His focus was on Frieza's minions, whose souls he devoured one by one.
"System."

"Finally, some improvement," Void muttered, looking up.
The fight everyone anticipated was about to begin: Frieza vs. Goku.
The two flew into the sky, glaring at each other, arch-rivals and mortal enemies. After a series of speeches—typical of such moments—Void grew bored.
"Yawn," Void muttered.
He missed the part where Frieza had roasted Trunks while comparing him with Vegeta and same with Goten and Goku.
Finally, Goku transformed into his Super Saiyan Blue form, and the real fight began.
Watching it live, Void found it more dragged out than entertaining.
"Golden Frieza."
Void couldn't help but admire Frieza. Among the beings in the Dragon Ball universe, Frieza was undoubtedly the most talented, with Gohan a close second.
It had taken Frieza only six months to surpass Goku's years of effort.
"Does talent surpass hard work, or do they go hand in hand?" Void wondered silently.
Frieza and Goku's battle was, of course, legendary. So much hate existed between these two.
Initially, Frieza had the upper hand, pushing back Goku. However, a fatal weakness was revealed—stamina. The Golden Form drained too much energy, and finally, Goku exploited it.
Just then, Vegeta tagged in, forcing Goku to step back.
"Hahaha! All hail Vegeta, the prince of no one," Frieza sneered, taunting Vegeta as their battle began.
"Hmm, did I mix up the timeline? Either way, it might come early or late, but those iconic events and speeches happen one way or another," Void thought, observing from the sidelines.
Eventually, Vegeta defeated Frieza, who now knelt on the ground. Vegeta's ego swelled as he began a victorious monologue.
In the end—kaboom—Earth was destroyed by Frieza. Only Whis, Beerus, Goku, and the rest of the Dragon Ball heroes survived, protected by a barrier created by Whis.
Void, unharmed by the explosion, flew toward the group as they floated in space.
"You can survive an explosion like that?" Goku asked in shock.
"That and much more. Continue your chat with Whis," Void replied. He was already eager to return to Beerus's world.
Finally, after much discussion, Whis rewound time, and Void clicked his tongue in wonder.
For a Rank 3 being like Void, rewinding time was possible, but only for Rank 2 entities, and even then, they would sense it. This demonstrated the gap between him and Whis.
In the end, Goku destroyed Frieza with one final Kamehameha, leaving Frieza dead once more.

Back on Lord Beerus's Planet
Void's hard work paid off. Beerus informed him that the Grand Priest and Zeno wanted to reward him a little.
Void was given coordinates to worlds he could destroy in Universe 7 and other universes as well.
This was exciting for Void. It allowed him to avoid the Universe 6 Tournament, Copy-Vegeta Arc, and Future Trunks Arc while causing subtle discomfort to the gods.

Universe 6
On a planet similar to Beerus's, Champa, the brother of Beerus, was dining with Vados.
"Vados, who do you think is the being that the Grand Priest and Lord Zeno allowed to do our work?" Champa asked calmly as he enjoyed his meal.
"Lord Champa, I don't know much, but he possesses the minimum power of a Destroyer and something else special to them," Vados replied as Champa smiled.
"Okay, it seems you won't say more than that. Forget it. I have some delicious food I'd like my brother to taste. Hahaha! I can't wait to see his expression when he eats it," Champa said, standing up to prepare for his trip to Universe 7.
Void could have completed his tasks in less than a day, but he wanted to stay away from the arcs.
Messing with the timeline would cause significant damage, and besides, he preferred to act as a bystander.
So, Void took his time as the events in the Dragon Ball universe progressed toward the Tournament of Power.

Universe 11
This was the last universe Void needed to visit, officially completing his soul requirement.
(Host can break through to the low level of Rank 3)
Hearing this, Void grinned and landed on a small planet. His breakthrough began, taking several days until it was finally complete.
(Congratulations, host, for the breakthrough.)

"Huh, System, why do I have the laws of my slaves?" Void asked, confused.
(This is the function of the slave contract and only works when the host officially reaches at least the low level of Rank 3.)
"Oh, I see. That's nice," Void grinned, eager to test it out—until he encountered Jiren.
Unbeknownst to Void, Jiren had come to the planet to meditate. Feeling a strange and terrifying power pulse, Jiren decided to investigate.
"Who are you, and what are you doing here?" Jiren demanded as he appeared before Void, tall and imposing.
"Me? Just passing by," Void replied indifferently, preparing to leave.
"Wait. Your strength—it's commendable. I want to battle you and learn from you," Jiren said.
"You're too weak," Void replied, disappearing without a trace.
As the mysterious being vanished, Jiren paused, gazing at the sky.
"I hope I see you at the tournament. We'll see who's weak then," Jiren muttered, clenching his fists.
