Chapter 56: Incompatibility
That day after school, Sora disappeared with Midnight. He didn't return home until very late at night with kiss marks all over his body and hickeys on his neck. A faint sweet and sensual aroma was stuck to his body, mainly his crotch.
When he entered his room, he found Toga waiting for him, a light smile on her face as she revealed her nude body to Sora.
They did nothing but cuddle each other to sleep.
…
A couple of days passed, and it was now Sunday night. In the past couple of days since school went on break, he had been training himself, Toga, Ochaco, Mina, Momo, and Toru.
Next day, Sora will have to leave for the training trip for the first-year students of the hero course. The training will last around two to three weeks and Sora will have to spend a while there with them.
He could use the chance to get closer to Mina and the rest.
"Sora, the mosquitoes in Japan and a third of the Asian countries have returned," Eve informed Sora. "They have all unloaded the blood into the blood tanks you made."
"Perfect!"
Sora stood up from his chair and hugged Eri close to his chest.
He was relaxing outside of the house, in the backyard and looking up at the dark sky that was welcoming the rising sun. His mother and Toga were both still sleeping and Eri was sleeping soundly with his mother as well. Eve was sitting with him, relaxing after a round of training until she received the news from the mosquitoes.
"Do you want to go look at the blood, master?" Eve asked, looking at Sora curiously.
Nodding, Sora held Eve's hand and led the way to the underground base. He felt a little excited, wondering what the blood will help accomplish. The changing blood is strange and he wanted to get to understand it more. He had very little info about the changing blood, and without sufficient knowledge, he couldn't comprehend it too much.
That wall still kept him from looking over.
Curious, Sora wondered what the effects will be when he helps hasten the process of his changing blood cells. What will the end process be like and what will happen?
At a corner of the underground base, there lay a huge cylindrical liquid storage with window walls, allowing one to see the large amount of blood inside it.
Standing before the blood container, Sora looked at the towering storage unit and wondered how much this blood would aid him.
"This is good," Sora muttered to Eve. "Grab some tubes and connect it to the unit. I will go out to the surface and have you pass them to me."
"Yes, master!"
Eve nodded and while Sora went up, she grabbed some tubes and connected them. She walked to the elevator and then took it up, meeting Sora in the backyard of his family home. He was taking deep breaths, his mind calm and he had already removed the clothes from his upper body.
Opening his eyes, Sora turned to look at Eve and nodded at her. She smiled and approached Sora, stepping close and grabbing the tubes before piercing them into his arms and back.
Shortly after the tubes were injected into Sora's body, the blood from the container went into the tubes and traveled up and into Sora.
Huu~
Letting out a deep breath, Sora closed his eyes and began moving his body, his breathing was rhythmical and deep.
Sora's movements were a little crude, but he continued, nonetheless.
The blood flowed into his body and his breathing pattern was speeding up the flow of blood in his body. Following the change in blood flow, Sora felt his body begin to heat up.
Sweat trickled down and seeped out of his pores and the flowing blood entering his body began to increase the pressure in his blood vessels and heart. With his stronger body, Sora withstood the pressure and continued moving and breathing calmly.
He couldn't let the pressure disturb him, nor the increasing heat of his body.
This is a crucial time.
He didn't know what was going to happen once he succeeds, but he needed to look forward to it.
Tss!
The heat of his body increased to incredible temperatures and his heart was beating a hundred times per second. His skin was turning red and the sweat was evaporating. The blood in his body began to vaporize and condense, the quality changing.
Slowly, the blood pressure in his body was lowering and blood in the container below was running out. Yet no significant change was happening just yet.
Sora continued repeating the moves, his breathing still rhythmic.
There was no more blood in the container and the blood in Sora's body was still boiling and condensing. The change he was desiring and looking forward to still didn't arrive.
Deep within his body, at the core of his heart, all the cells that were being purified and condensing together turned golden. They were unifying and bonding together, but they lacked one more golden cell to complete the process. Sora wasn't aware, but he continued moving and that final golden cell was made with his current blood.
His body was hollowed and void of any blood, he appeared like a husk. He stopped moving and his breathing had stopped, only the sound of his beating heart continued. Between his blood vessels that were dried up, a single golden cell trekked and traveled through the blood vessels before entering his heart.
There, the golden cell joined the other uniform and fused cells. When they touched, a heavy vitality burst out of Sora's body and a single golden drop of blood was formed. Soon, like a flood, more red blood full of life was formed by Sora's body and like a timely rain after a drought, Sora's body was returned to normal.
But…
He still stood there, motionlessly.
His eyes blank and staring into the distance. Time seemed to stand still, the breeze hitting the grass and the leaves on a tree, gently caressing Sora's body.
Eve stood nearby, a little worried despite being confident in Sora's ability.
Like a statue, Sora was affixed to the spot he was on.
Deep within his body, in the space where his soul resides, Sora was curiously looking around himself. He was looking at his soul from a third person pov. Here, Sora was able to see his soul and what appeared to be a translucent version of his physical body.
They were separated, his soul floating behind his body and not even touching. But his body and soul not touching wasn't what Sora was paying attention to, rather it was the peculiar appearances of his soul and his body.
His soul's appearance was completely similar to how he looked in his past life. It was even more handsome than his current self. It was floating in space with eyes that were barely opened, eyes that were golden. Which was a little strange, as he never had golden eyes in his past life.
His body on the other hand not only looks completely different to his soul, but it is also slightly shorter.
Looking at both of his body and soul, Sora's eyes lit up with understanding.
Incompatibility!
His soul and body were both different! His soul retained the origin of his previous world, the appearance, the talent… but his new body was of a new origin, different level of talent, and even has a different appearance.
All of these things conflicted with each other and changed Sora's life. When he was younger, he wasn't particularly cute, it wasn't until he began practicing Great Body Forging Technique that he grew a little good looking. It also explains his lack of talent, or rather how his talents are battling each other and not giving him any.
Finally, there was another matter that concerned him, his body and soul not being fused together. Another reason why even if he had talent, he wouldn't be able to use it.
He always had a strange feeling that he wasn't completely in control over his body. Like his body was receiving mixed signals or required him to focus harder to move his body around.
Here, in his inner body, Sora could see all the imperfections.
Duang!
Suddenly, a loud and heavy sound of a beating heart resounded, and Sora saw a miniature drop of golden blood fall from above. It fell onto his translucent body and like a drop of color on a white paper, Sora watched as his body lit up.
The golden blood entered the body and went straight to the heart before his began to flow through every blood vessel. Sora watched in astonishment as his body changed ever so slightly. The eyes changed and the color of the hair darkened, they now appeared like that of his soul's appearance.
Following the change, the soul and body gradually got closer to each other and finally touched ever so slightly.
BANG!
Like a clap of thunder, Sora found himself back in his backyard.
He breathed in normally like usual, but it felt so different.
The air felt livelier and fresher, the grass beneath his feet felt more detailed, the color of the world was more vivid, and every sense and touch were greater than ever before. He took a step forward and his mind was shocked.
Although very little, the control over his body had grown and no matter how much he walks now, or runs, he won't trip!
Quickly, without thinking, Sora got into a basic strike stance and his hands struck forward in various forms. His eyes shining brighter every passing second.
If his progress before was akin to something infinitely slower than a snail, Sora's progress was now like that of an actual snail. It was still slow, but Sora could now personally see tiny improvements in his movements unlike before!
"Hahaha! Finally!"
Sora roared triumphantly.
Excited and looking forward to the future, Sora now simply wondered how long it will take him to gather the necessary blood to make more drops of golden blood.
Calming himself, Sora kept his smile wide and planned for the future. Steadily, he will improve and return back to the peak of martial arts and everything else. Nothing will stop him from taking a step forward and claiming what he wants. Women, power, talent…
Everything will be within his grasp.

"Look at all these people! Hehehe… they will be enough…"
Within a stylish private bar, a man with severed hands placed all over his body and head was looking at a group of villains. Villains that were either hired or came to join them.
"Hehe… ruining the future of these students and keeping them from becoming heroes… How fun!"
Shigaraki laughed and turned to look at the figures that were behind him. He looked at all the peculiar individuals who held great strength and powerful quirks. With them, he will be able to cause a lot of damage and maybe even cause All Might to appear.
A man in a full body black skintight suit with a grey mask on his head. Another man with an elegant magician attire with a white mask on his face. Aside from these two figures, there are also another three more well known villains, Mustard, a man who can control toxic gases, Muscular, whose quirk grants him greater strength through the creation of muscle fibers, and finally a man in a black suit that binds his arms and legs, covers his face and only leaves his mouth exposed, Moonfish.
They are all powerful and combined they can cause great damage.
Aside from them, Shigaraki is planning on taking a nomu to help cause trouble and destruction. Lowering the morale of all the U.A. students-
Knock knock!
Shigaraki stopped thinking and turned to look at the door of the bar with a serious look in his eyes.
Following the silence, the door creaked open, and two more figures entered. A young man with burn scars on his face and black hair. Dabi, a man with a powerful fire-based quirk whose power is unrivaled.
Next to him, a strong person wearing a heavy coat over his body.
"Hey! Remove that coat and show your face." Shigaraki frowned when he saw the other figure, not recognizing him in the slightest.
The coated figure remained still for a couple of seconds and before Shigaraki said another word, the figure moved. They removed the hood of their coat, revealing their golden hair and fierce eyes.
Shigaraki's eyes lit up and an excited smile spread on his face, "Ah! You're that kid from U.A.! Mirio!"
