Chapter 17: U.A. Exam End
Running into Ground Beta, Sora's eyes rapidly scanned the area before he instantly moved over to the nearest set of villain bots.
Two villain bots worth one point, 1 worth two points, and 1 worth three points.
Sora looked at them for a second and instantly found their weak points.
With movements that were both swift and awkward, Sora dashed over to them and lifted his hand. His index finger and middle finger curved together into a hook and he swung his hand down to the villain bot.
Tch!
His finger dug into the metal and with the strength in his arms, Sora ripped a chunk off the villain robot,
Pak!
Sora removed a large chunk of metal from the villain robot.
Tzz!
Yet despite such a large chunk being removed from the villain robot, the bot was still able to move. It turned it's large body and swung it's arm at Sora.
With a click of his tongue and a frown, Sora clenched his left hand into a fist. His accuracy was off and he failed to attack the weak point of the villain robot.
It seemed like after all this time, his accuracy had still not increased.
Talent
Sora frowned at the thought of it.
He lacked it.
Not even a small portion.
If he had just a smidge, he would be able to reach the stars as long as he trained, even if he had to train for millions of years.
Yet with no talent, Sora couldn't even increase his accuracy. It remained low and it has not improved in many years.
'Go to hell,' cursed Sora as he swung his left arm into the villain robot's body.
Bang!
With his fist landing on the robot's body, Sora's incredible strength burst from his fist. Cleanly, Sora's fist blew the robot's upper body away from it's bottom half.
One Point!
Next!
Sora quickly moved onto the next robot.
All the other students moved as well, following behind Sora as they sought other robots.
Ignoring everyone else, Sora focused on himself as he dashed to the next robot with his impressive speed. Although not as amazing as those with speed based quirks, Sora's speed was already amazing by itself.
Sora's current speed was above that of a cheetah's, sitting at 100 mph (160 kph).
With that speed, Sora moved rapidly and struck down robot after robot.
Yet without the skill, there were numerous times when Sora got hit and his quirk had to heal him. Hell, he even tripped a few times.

Inside U.A.'s Ground Beta's surveillance room, all the staff were watching the examinees. They kept track of each student and watched them perform against villains.
In the middle of all the U.A. staff was a small white furred creature wearing a uniform and red sneakers.
The staff gave this small white furred creature respect and listened to it.
Why?
Because he's the Principal of U.A. High School!
Holding a cup of coffee, Nezu, the small white furred creature, was looking at all the students. His eyes scanned across all the cameras constantly, capturing every movement of the students and understanding what is occurring without missing a moment.
"What an interesting guy…" Nezu muttered to himself as he noticed a student fall through the floor before reappearing naked.
His little beady eyes moved across the video feed and it stopped on a young man.
"An octopus…"
Nezu's eyes continued moving around, he gazed at all the students and gauged them and their potential. He analyzed every movement and action they took and scored them accordingly.

Hm?
Nezu paused.
His eyes focused on a certain figure whose fists tore apart through metal and scrapped the robots. The figure's fists were heavy and fierce, but his movements were terrible and very unskilled.
'The first with such high strength and speed,' thought Nezu as he watched Sora dash from robot to robot. He took them down in just 2-3 hits and what astounded Nezu the most were Sora's eyes.
The wisdom and intelligence were simply brimming and overflowing from Sora's golden eyes.
As a highly intelligent being thanks to his Quirk, High Specs, Nezu can easily discover things others can not. Such as another highly intelligent being.
'A genius!'
Nezu's eyes brightened as he looked at Sora.
Yet as quickly as they brightened, he quickly calmed down.
'But is he a good hero?'
Focusing, Nezu watched Sora's actions and harshly graded him before eventually smiling.

Nezu looked forward to what Sora would do. With such intelligence, he wondered how far he could go.
Not just that intelligence but the wisdom in those eyes were also another thing.
Nezu can see how Sora could instantly get a grasp of the situation and act accordingly. He watched as Sora made all the best actions as he took care of robots and even saved a couple of students.
It was very subtle, to the point where even he, Nezu, would find it difficult to notice how Sora was saving the students. Once could have been luck, and two times would have been coincidence, but when Nezu saw Sora constantly save the examinees from attacks that could make them give up the exam, that was no longer simple luck or coincidence.
'I'm looking forward to having him in my school,' thought Nezu as he smiled.
***
Bang!
'Next!'
Sora scanned the area once more and moved to the nearest robot.
So far, he has obtained a total of 84 points as he mainly targeted the hard villains, the robots worth 3 points. Occasionally, he would take down the other robots as well the instant they get in his way.
Standing on top of the robot, Sora looked at his bandaged hands.
He was reaching his limits.
His skills no longer improve and his strength is increasing at a slower rate than before.
Without talent, this might be the best he could do.
His movements were not only rigid, but his skills were rather weak and ineffective. All he could do was really on his brute strength.
'Talent, looks like I need to look for a way for it to develop.' thought Sora as he focused his gaze.
Jumping off the robot, Sora moved once more.
His face was serious and just when Sora was about to head off in search for more robots, he suddenly stopped.
Narrowing his eyes, Sora felt like something was off.
"Hm?"
Turning his head to the right, Sora began to feel the ground shake as the building right next to him suddenly began to crumble.
Boom!
The building collapsed and Sora saw bright red lights glow within the clouds of dust.
Tzzz!!
Bam!
A large robotic hand emerged from the cloud of dust and Sora looked around, noticing the other contestants instantly running away.
Some were afraid of the large robot and others were wary of it's strength, the last group of people simply fled because the robot was worth 0 points.
Glancing at the people leaving, Sora stayed a while longer.
He looked at the giant robot emerging from the hole where a building once stood. He found all of it's weaknesses instantly and studied it for a bit, wondering why they used such inefficient forms.
Grinning, Sora looked at the robot with a burning gaze. His thirst for battle was rising as he readied himself to fight.
His eyes rapidly scanned the area and noticed a couple of people still not out of the area. With a plan in mind, Sora took note of the areas to keep out of in order to keep from hurting the other contestants.
"Heh… I may not have talent, but I still have my fighting experience," chuckled Sora as he relaxed his body before coolly getting into his fighting stance.
At this point in his life, this was the only thing Sora could rely on. His many years of fighting against many who were skilled, strong, and even against animals.
Tzzz!
Di~Di!
The robot moved and locked onto Sora who was standing before it. Lifting its large arm, it swat it's arm down towards Sora.
Calmly, Sora met the arm of the robot with a fist.
Bang!
Sora felt his body lower and his eyebrows furrowed together. His knees were beginning to bend and his arm begin to crack under the pressure of the robot's attack.
"Huu~~"
Exhaling out hot air, Sora's expression turned serious as he summoned all the strength he could.
Crack!
The floor beneath him began to break and Sora felt his footing start to slip.
Summoning all of his brute strength, Sora's hands began to tighten around the robots hand.
Tchhh!!
The sound of metal being bent resounded in the area as Sora's hand dig into the robot's hand began to slowly peel the metal away.
Tzz!
The robot moved its hand and watched as two fingers were ripped away.
"Heh…"
Sora smirked and ran forward, accumulating momentum and strength into his shoulders. His technique might be terrible, but he could still do something simple like accumulating momentum from running.
Rapidly, Sora's figure dashed forward with incredible speed before charging straight to the robot's chest.
BANG!
Sora's body crashed into the huge robot's chest, caving it in and bursting through it's back.
TSH-tzzzz!
Bam!
The huge robot's eyes flickered before shutting off. It's body fell forward and landed on the ground with a loud crash.
Sora stood behind the robot all body and with tattered clothes. His wounds began to heal at a visible rate and he was soon as good as new. The only thing that remained was his bloodstained clothes that was ripped.
Looking at the huge robot that was now destroyed, Sora turned his head and noticed a couple of students looking his way curiously.
EEERRRRRR!
With the sound of a loud buzzard, the end of the exam has been announced. All students began to make their way to the exit.
Whether they were sad or happy, they listened to the teachers and left the place.
"I'd say today was successful," Sora muttered before turning his head to the side and looking at a camera.
…
Sitting in front of a monitor, Nezu was shaking as he laughed.
"Hahaha!"
The staff was confused by Nezu's actions but knew that must be particularly happy about something.
Looking at one particular screen from hundreds, Nezu paid close attention to the golden eyes that seemed to have noticed his constant stare.
"I'm looking forward to having you here," chucked Nezu as he jumped off his chair and walked away with a smile on his furry face.
***
Walking away from U.A. Sora was planning on heading straight home and celebrate with his mother.
He was 100% sure that he had been accepted into U.A.
Despite not being able to utilize his martial arts due to his lack of talent, Sora was still able to triumph over the other students.
It made him wonder whether the other students were really apt to become students in such a prestigious school like U.A.
Although talent wasn't everything, hard work like his will never be able to compare to actual talented people.
People like…
"Sora!"
Stopping in place, Sora turned around.
Jogging to him with a wide smile on his face was Mirio. Behind him was his gloomy and shy friend, Tamaki.
Surprisingly, there was one more figure next to them.
A beautiful girl with long bluish hair and royal blue eyes. She was cute and she had a shapely figure due to her hips and developing chest.
The only thing that seemed off to Sora about the girl was her expression.
The girl had a serious expression on her face yet her eyes were filled with boundless curiosity.
His gaze on the girl was short as he turned his attention to Mirio.
"Mirio."
Sora stood next to the gate entrance of U.A. as Mirio and the other two approached him.
"How do you think you did?" Mirio asked with a wide smile on his face.
Sora didn't say anything as he simply raised a single finger with a smirk on his face.
Seeing Sora's lone finger Mirio and the other two were stunned for a second.
First place!
"Don't be let down if it doesn't come true," Mirio said, smilingly patting Sora's back as if to console him.
Sora rolled his eyes.
"What brings you and your friends here to me?" Sora asked.
"I wanted to invite you to the arcade place near here," says Mirio. "To play some games!"
Sora listened quietly.
He thought about it, his eyes looking at Mirio before turning his gaze to Tamaki and finally to the girl.
"Alright, I'll join you," Sora said as he returned his gaze to Mirio.
