A possession was what was happening.

More specifically, a parasitic possession.

After standing up completely, the man's body began to move rigidly. When he walked, his legs seemed to have rusty hinges.

Then he lowered his head slightly and began to analyze the eye that was still dripping with blood: "It looks fine to me."

When his head came up, it was possible to see a black lacquer coming out of his eye socket.

"There's definitely something wrong with him, get ready to fight!" The third, who had said nothing so far, urged the others on and showed the two tentacles of his kagune rinkaku.

The others, seeing this, wasted no time and also unleashed their kagunes, there was a koukaku and a ukaku, basically forming a team in which one compensates for the other's weakness.

"What's wrong with you?" The possessed man tilted his head in confusion, but the centipedes that kept coming out of his ear, the crow that was emerging from his eye socket and the lacraia that was circling his head made the scene sinister.

The image of the lacraia, its writhing body and its hundred moving legs could cause a nervous breakdown in many people, especially at the thought of this animal measuring at least fifteen centimeters coming out of someone's head.

The small centipedes coming out of its ears also made for a disgusting image.

Compared to these arthropods squirming and piling up, the bloody crow coming out of its eye socket seemed kind of cute.

But the question that prevailed was: how could these animals be and fit inside the head of a living person?

Ignoring the possessed man's question, the ghoul with the kagune rinkaku, who seemed to be the leader, took the initiative to attack.

It gave a quick thrust forward, its tentacles placing themselves like a cone in front of it, its intention to strike clear.

"Come on, why get so aggressive?" The possessed opened its mouth, spitting out red strips that wrapped around the ghoul's body, crushed it and then pulled it into its mouth.

"Ahhhh!" The lead ghoul could only scream briefly as he faced his imminent death.

The other ghouls were petrified by this sight, as if this was the last drop needed for the cup to overflow, they quickly retreated to the opposite wall with fear stamped on their faces.

Ghouls don't have arthropods and birds on their heads, ghouls don't spit tentacles, ghouls don't swallow other ghouls in one bite.

Only some kind of demon or monster from the depths could do these terrible things.

Well, those were the last thoughts of the two little friends before they both died.

"Familiars can still be created when I possess a body; the possessed body can be altered to a relatively high degree, although using blood as a means of alteration is not very efficient. I'm going to play with this body for a little while longer... but I have to fix this voice."
