A Demon King Through The Worlds

Chapter 54: Chapter 54: I Wanted to Put a Big Title on It, So I Did.

"Naturally, the ability of demons to manipulate their own bodies has many uses. Whether it's creating extra limbs for the most diverse activities, altering the size of limbs to gain an advantage in combat or creating objects." Lucian nodded, showing how much he liked this ability in his words and expressions.

"Any limb... 'that one' too?" Daki's expression suddenly turned strange, as if a rather different thought had sprung into his mind.

"Your way of thinking is... interesting, to say the least. However, I refuse to do so for the sake of honor." Lucian raised an eyebrow when he heard those words.

Such an occurrence is undoubtedly unprecedented, whether due to a lack of related impulses or simply good manners.

And yes, until now the demons had been practically deprived of any loving, fraternal or sexual feelings, being driven only by hunger and greed.

"Damn it! Now this possibility won't leave my head, I think I'll create a ban against it." Shortly afterwards he cursed, this thought crossing his mind hundreds of times in just a moment.

"Hihihi how righteous~", Daki said laughing lightly, the sarcasm clear in her voice, but then she asked curiously: "Can you really forbid this from happening?"

"Muzan was able to stop demons from speaking specific words... or at least apply a severe punishment. However, my power and control over the demon bloodline is superior to what he had, in fact, I feel it getting stronger with each passing day," Lucian replied, raising his hand and looking at her.

Opening and closing his hand, the muscles jumped in a way that would normally be impossible – each fiber being controlled individually with incredible skill.

Since that day when he ended up consuming Muzan's soul and stealing his body, Lucian had been constantly strengthening himself, while this power was being assimilated by him.

Naturally, the fusion generated a result that was greater than the sum of its parts. The subsequent consumption of the blue spider lily enhanced this process.

"That's good. Changing the subject, when are we going to attack that organization called Aogiri Tree?" Daki asked as he stretched.

Lucian was momentarily distracted by the curves revealed by this action, but soon came up with an answer: "Soon, according to my calculations, they will soon attack Kaneki, which will take me directly to one of their bases, where several of their members will be gathered."

"I'm looking forward to it." Daki's eyes lit up when she heard this, after being a demon for a long time, this desire to kill was already ingrained in her bones.

And the thought of killing and devouring tasty ghouls was particularly exciting for her. Even a C-rank ghoul was still infinitely tastier than the hashiras she had devoured previously.

The mere presence of the rc cells made everything highly nutritious, so she was particularly happy with her recent feedings.

"I don't think that in this pile of ghouls there are any that are even remotely pretty."

Although the taste is good and matters a lot, she's not interested in giving up her greatest principle – eating only beautiful people.

In some circumstances the requirements may be lower, but they always are and always will be.

"Your requirements for food still surprise me hahahaha." Lucian laughed when he saw what Daki's concerns were.

"I still have my gourmet side." She smiled before licking her lips, "And I can't wait for the feast."

...

After his little meeting with Daki, Lucian calmly walked through the alleys softly lit by the moon.

More specifically, he was following the scent of blood that hung in the air; it was faint, but it didn't escape his sensitive nose.

It was probably the remnants of blood left in a ghoul's body after feeding on a human. Lucian had been hunting ghouls for a few hours, after all, he was also interested in obtaining a kakuja.

And even if he didn't, devouring ghouls would still be the most efficient way for him to get stronger.

"Wait... kakuja is when the kagune transforms and covers the body, so I created BloodArmor for nothing?!" Lucian then realized that this would invalidate his previous efforts.

'I've wasted precious days.

Of course, he didn't care about that for long, the occasion changed constantly and there was no way he could have known that he would arrive in the world of Tokyo Ghoul.

Soon he arrived at the source of the smell of blood, an old building on the outskirts of the city. Looking at the façade of the building, his first conclusion was that it had been abandoned for some years.

The windows were mostly broken, and the few shards that remained were dirty and stained.

The metal door at the front was completely oxidized, dominated by rust to the point of changing color.

The walls had a yellowish appearance, with dense cracks running the length of them. There were clear signs of infiltration and mold was growing uncontrollably.

Everything screamed "There's no one living here", it could almost be considered the perfect hiding place.

An abandoned building in an isolated location, no one would go there without a good reason. Seeing what the ghouls had to subject themselves to in order to survive was pitiful.

Of course, the ghouls Lucian was chasing weren't the peaceful ones who survived on the bare minimum, but those who hunted and obtained a reasonable amount of food.

If that wasn't the case, he wouldn't even bother hunting them. Ghouls that don't eat don't have a large amount of rc, so they don't provide as much nutrition.

However, even those ghouls that don't kill are still ruthlessly hunted down and killed, Ryoko is an example of this, even though Lucian prevented her death.

*Creak~* The door produced a loud creak as it was opened by him, needless to say the ghouls inside the building could hear this sound.

Even a human would hear a sound of that volume.

'Four targets, three are in the same room. Let's start with the lone one. His gaze turned cold and sharp, and a sinister smile slowly appeared on his lips.

His body then plunged into a pool of blood, which quickly began to climb up the wall and into a window.

The red liquid flowed quickly across the floor, showing a life of its own, and in a few seconds he found himself at the foot of a staircase.

Why open the door if he was going to get in through the window? Distraction. When they heard a door being opened, they needed to check it.

They would either all check it together or split into two groups. As long as there is a division of forces, the difficulty of eliminating the enemies decreases dramatically.

'Although this isn't exactly necessary, after all, my strength is high enough... well, taking the easy way out is always more pleasant. Divide and conquer.

It's just not possible to confirm whether this really is the easy way out.

Do tactics really make sense when brute force is more than enough to solve the problem?

*Tap tap* Footsteps sounded on the stairs, there was no urgency in the walk, apparently the person in question wasn't worried about the possibility of intruders.

'He must be a rank A ghoul,' Lucian thought as he felt the intensity of the man's life force coming down the stairs.

"I don't know why you worry so much, no one would come to this end of the world," the man cursed, clearly unhappy at being given this task, "It's probably just the wind again."

Unfortunately, he was wrong. The reason for hiding out in a relatively isolated and dilapidated place is clear: not to be found.

And if you're afraid of being found, it's because you know you're being chased.

"You're right, it must be their paranoia." Lucian's voice rang out, agreeing with the man's words.

"Who?!?" the man exclaimed, looking around intently, "What is it?"

Confusion appeared on his face as he noticed the puddle of crimson liquid on the ground. Confusion quickly turned to dread as Lucian's head began to emerge.

"!!!" His pupils shrank violently as he took a step back, but just as he was about to shout out to his companions, the pool of blood on the ground rebelled and quickly rose up.

The blood rushed towards him and began to enter the man's orifices, and he struggled desperately.

His hands moved across his face in a futile attempt to stop the blood from invading his body. As his airways were blocked and his oxygen supply slowly depleted, his resistance waned, until finally it ceased completely and his body slid down the wall and fell to the floor.

After a few seconds of silence, the man opened his eyes and began to inhale deeply, desperate for oxygen.

Trembling and moving strangely, the man slowly stood up, his movements strange, like someone who doesn't know how to move their body.

Or someone who is in a body that doesn't belong to him.
