Lile always had a unique perspective when it came to Zaun. Where others thought that rebellion was the best course of action, he believed that the people themselves needed to change.
Afterall, how could they hope to make a kingdom made entirely of gangsters and slum rats?
To him, it was hard to even see them as anything more than 'things' that he could use to occasionally relieve his boredom—whether it be with a conversation or a fight. Though, that may not be exactly right, he felt empathetic towards them in an odd way, almost like he wanted to see them become human.
That's not to mention those he truly sees as human, like his sisters. For those people, he would do anything, destroy anything, even rebuild it if asked.
It'd be impossible for him to explain why he feels this way to anyone, it's simply how he sees things, to him it's perfectly normal. Though if someone explained how others thought and asked why he thinks differently, he might trace it back to a "gift" he's had since birth.
Maybe with this "gift" he would change things. Maybe with his "gift" his boredom could turn to peace. Or maybe, he would watch his gift become a curse.
A curse that would make him lose himself.
