You’re Supposed To Be The Villain, But You Effortlessly Win Over The Female Leads?

Chapter 7:

Chapter 7:

The veins on Jiang Feng’s forehead pulsed with frustration.

[System! I asked you for a peaceful world to retire in, but what kind of place have you thrown me into?]

After finishing with the endless missions in the infinite world, all Jiang Feng wanted was a quiet life where he could enjoy his retirement. But the system had other plans.

[Host, Fanfan! You’re the best! If you can handle the infinite world, this fast-paced mission should be a walk in the park for you.]

[I’ve upgraded! All you have to do is take on these small side characters’ missions, help them get what they deserve, and I promise you’ll get the biggest rewards!]

[You just need to help the downtrodden characters turn their fate around. Piece of cake!]

In the infinite world, Jiang Feng had built a reputation as a top-tier horror game expert, dominating the leaderboard for centuries. Pleasing an audience was second nature to him.

But originally, Jiang Feng didn’t want to take on this mission. Back in his mission days, he had always been the star of the show, the leader of the team. He had never played a background character before. But when he received the villain’s memories and realized the character shared his name, and saw how maddening the plot was, he couldn’t resist. He had to take this one on.

Next to him, Xu Qingya put on a kind, helpless expression.

“Xiao Feng, if you don’t want to help, I won’t force you. Minglang told us not to pressure you. He said he already owes your family too much. I broke up with you, but it was really no big deal.” She coughed softly, her figure frail and delicate, as if a gust of wind could blow her over.

“She really is in poor health,” someone nearby whispered. “We’re in the same class, and she’s always getting sick. Look how thin she is; it’s understandable she wouldn’t want to get tested for a match.”

Another voice joined in. “Exactly. Jiang Feng is healthy, and he’s a guy. If he’s a match, it makes sense for her to ask him to donate. They’re all classmates, after all.”

A young man who admired Xu Qingya stepped forward to defend her. “Losing some bone marrow won’t kill him! If I were a match, I wouldn’t be stingy about it.”

He Mingxue, standing beside Xu Qingya, sneered. “Sister Qingya, why waste your breath on someone as selfish as him? It’s disgusting that he still follows you around. He acts like his bone marrow is some kind of treasure.”

“If losing bone marrow won’t kill you, then why don’t you do the match?” Jiang Feng’s voice was cold. “And don’t bother feeling sorry for me—he’s not going to die.”

Jiang Feng smirked and raised his head, his eyes cold and full of disdain. “He’s ruined my family. I don’t know what kind of spell he’s cast on my dad, but my dad would rather divorce my mom and sell the house just to save him. I hate him. I even wish he’d die right now. And you want me to save him? Keep dreaming.”

I wish he’d die!

The crowd was shocked by Jiang Feng’s words. Normally, people might secretly harbor resentment, but no one would dare say it aloud. Yet Jiang Feng had just done it, without hesitation. The word “hate” was practically etched into his face.

Everyone was silent. How could they criticize him? He had openly admitted that he hated He Minglang. Even the soft-hearted among the crowd couldn’t bring themselves to urge Jiang Feng to donate bone marrow to someone he despised.

Xu Qingya, hearing Jiang Feng declare his hatred for He Minglang, felt a strange satisfaction. She thought he was just trying to manipulate her by pushing her away, hoping she’d come back. She sighed, looking like the picture of innocence.

“Brother Minglang didn’t mean for things to turn out this way. And Uncle Chen just wanted to save him. Your mom’s the one making a big fuss. Why do you hate Brother Minglang? He’s smart, kind, and everyone likes him. Xiaofeng, you’re just biased against him.”

Xu Qingya’s words were filled with judgment as she looked at Jiang Feng, her gaze full of disapproval. The implication was clear—if he didn’t save He Minglang, it was because he wasn’t a good person. In her mind, the fault was with Jiang Feng, not He Minglang.

“I am biased against him. So what?” Jiang Feng’s voice was ice-cold. “Who I like or dislike is none of your business. First of all, we’ve already broken up. Second, don’t think you have the right to tell me to donate bone marrow to your ‘precious’ Minglang. Our childhood friendship is long gone, so you have no right to say anything.”

With that, Jiang Feng turned and walked away, ignoring the pale, trembling figure of He Mingxue behind him.
