*Georgie's POV
After leaving Miss Fenley's classroom, I walked down the school hallway with a wide smile on my face. It's progress, and I'm proud of it!.
Miss Fenley told me I should pursue music and that I'd be a superstar soon. I've never doubted that. And no, it's not just because of Miss Fenley words—I have memories of great songs from the future!.
Well, I already told George that I'd sing in an NFL stadium someday, so that's a promise I've made to him and myself.
But do I have to become a musician in this new life? I don't know if I should become a musician or something else. This is my second life, and right now, I love it so much that I'm afraid and think that it might just be a dream.
Although everything seems like an unimaginable fantasy, this is the real world created by God for me. What did God say before? Enjoy it.
So, I will enjoy this life to the fullest. If I am meant to be a musician someday, I will be a musician who makes my family proud.
As I strolled through the hallway, I noticed Sheldon walking out of the library with an Asian boy. The boy was listening to Sheldon ramble on without stopping. I walked toward them.
"Sheldon! You made a friend, huh? Good job, young man." I said, ruffling Sheldon's hair.
"Stop it!" Sheldon, as if anticipating my move, pulled a comb from his pocket and started fixing his hair, shooting me an annoyed glare.
Ignoring Sheldon's irritation, I turned my attention to the boy. "I'm Georgie, Sheldon's Older Brother." I said, extending my hand.
The boy, looking nervous, hesitantly shook my hand. "He…hello…sir." he stuttered.
I laughed at his fear. "Haha, relax. You're Sheldon's friend; I'm not going to hurt you." I reassured him. But then I added, "…yet" Softly.
The boy, clearly uneasy, tried to pull his hand away, but I held on, maintaining my playful smile.
"you're scaring Tam." Sheldon said, glancing between us.
"Hahaha, I'm just kidding. Sorry, Tam." I apologized and let go of his hand. "Thanks for being friends with Sheldon." I added sincerely.
Tam nodded, still a bit wary. "...Yes, sorry.." he replied softly.
Sheldon sighed and turned to Tam. "Let's go, Tam." he said, leading him away. I shrugged and let them go. At least Sheldon had made a friend.
I smiled, thinking to myself, What a beautiful day!.
"Georgie!" a voice called out behind me. I turned to see James walking toward me. "Why are you smiling like that?" he asked.
"Huh… Such a beautiful day, isn't it, James?" I replied, grinning. "What's up?"
"...Nothing, I just saw you smiling. It's kind of creepy." James teased, grinning back.
"Well, it's better than people assuming you're gay, right?" I shot back, smirking.
"I'm not!" James said, punching my arm.
"I didn't say you were the person I was talking about, did I?" I teased, grinning at him. He grumbled and huffed in annoyance.
"Who's that?" I asked, noticing two people standing behind James: an Asian girl and an English-looking gentleman.
"Uppercut boy!" the girl said, grinning at me.
"Hello." the boy greeted politely, nodding his head.
"These are my friends, Kayla and Edo. We've been in the same school since middle school. And this is Georgie—I met him in detention." James introduced us enthusiastically.
"Hello. And about that 'uppercut boy' thing—it's just one of my fighting skills. I've got way more than just an uppercut." I said to the girl, who was still grinning at me.
"It's useless, Georgie. Once Kayla gives you a nickname, it sticks until she decides to change it." Edo said, adjusting his glasses like a literature nerd.
"So, uppercut boy, did you really fight because of Veronica Duncan?" Kayla asked bluntly. "I mean, why fight for a slut like her?"
"..." I didn't respond, simply staring at her. James, sensing the awkwardness, let out an awkward laugh. "Ha ha ha, sorry, Georgie. She just says whatever's on her mind without caring about other people's feelings." he explained, clearly used to dealing with her.
I sighed. "She's not a slut… One bad relationship, and suddenly she's the school gossip." I said, gently patting Kayla's head. She didn't resist my touch, just stared at me curiously.
"...It feels weirdly calming being touched by you… Like being touched by my grandfather." Kayla said calmly, not pushing my hand away.
James and Edo gave me strange looks, like they were seeing a hero who had just defeated a demon king.
"…What?" I asked, pulling my hand back and looking at them both.
"No… nothing." James said quickly, while Edo nodded in agreement.
"What are you guys up to?" I asked, walking toward my classroom. The three of us chatted, except for Kayla, who kept squinting at me. I chose to ignore her gaze.

*3rd POV
Sheldon sat in the car with Georgie and Mary, complaining about his teacher oversharing their personal life with him.
"That's life, Sheldon. It sucks, and they have to live through it." Georgie said, earning a sharp glare from Mary.
"What? Oh yeah, Mom, Sheldon has an announcement for you." Georgie quickly deflected.
"I made a new friend." Sheldon said matter-of-factly, then added, "You must be happy now."
Mary was taken aback by Sheldon's words and glanced at Georgie for confirmation. When Georgie nodded, Mary's heart swelled with joy, though she tried to suppress her excitement.
"Oh, well… that's nice. But as I've said before, it's not for me—it's for you." Mary replied, glancing at Sheldon through the rearview mirror. Despite her efforts, a small smile crept onto her face, and she couldn't entirely hide it.
Georgie shook his head at Mary's reaction, and she noticed. Turning her gaze toward him, she asked, "...And what about you?" She was reminded that today marked Georgie's last day of detention.
"What about me?" Georgie asked, feigning ignorance.
"How was detention? Were they nice to you?" Mary clarified, watching him closely.
"Hmm, they were okay, I guess." Georgie replied nonchalantly.
"Were they mean to you, Georgie?" Sheldon asked, finding it hard to imagine himself in detention or behaving poorly in society.
"Hah! If they were mean to me, I'd have kicked their asses already." Georgie retorted, laughing.
"Georgie Cooper!" Mary shouted, though her voice was drowned out by Georgie's laughter.
When they arrived home, Mary excitedly shared the news of Sheldon's new friend with George. George's expression alternated between disbelief and sympathy for the poor kid who befriended Sheldon. Still, he was happy because his wife was happy.
"Who is it?" George asked, trying to sound interested.
"Who cares? It's a human being. It's a warm body." Mary replied with exaggerated enthusiasm.
Meanwhile, Missy and Georgie were lounging on the couch, watching TV. Missy glanced at Georgie. "Can I ask you a question?"
Georgie shifted his focus from the TV to her, curious. "Hmm?"
"Why are you being so nice now?" Missy asked.
Georgie's lips twitch slightly at her question, one he felt should have been asked long ago. "…Why are you asking me now?"
Missy shrugged. "I don't know. Maybe I just don't want you to change anymore." she said casually, unaware of the weight of her words.
Georgie smiled and kissed her forehead. "Who cares about that? I'm still an awesome brother for you and Sheldon, right? I'm not gonna change, you know."
Missy smiled at his assurance.
"I want to ask you something too, Missy." Georgie said. "What do you want to do in the future?"
"Hmm? I don't know. I'm only nine." Missy replied indifferently, but Georgie pressed on.
"Why not? Sheldon has dreams. You should have one too." he said encouragingly.
Missy thought for a moment, her eyes drifting to the TV. "...Can I be a princess?" she asked hesitantly, her eyes betraying her doubt.
Georgie, however, had no intention of crushing her dream. "Yes, you can." he said simply.
"Really?!" Missy's face lit up with excitement.
"Of course! You just need to buy an island and become a princess there—Princess Missy! Or maybe Queen Missy!" Georgie said with playful enthusiasm.
"Ohhhhh!" Missy beamed, but Georgie raised a finger.
"But!" he interrupted her joy. "Being a queen isn't easy! You need to study and become an amazing woman so people will trust you as their queen and be happy with your rule."
Missy groaned at the thought. "Study…"
"Of course. What? You don't want to study? Then people will think you're a dumb queen." Georgie teased.
"Do you want to be a psychologist?" Georgie said, looking at Missy who was still grumbling because she had to study to become a princess or queen in the future.
"What is a psychologist?" Missy asked, looking at Georgie with confusion. She stared at Georgie as if there were no better job than being a queen or princess.
"Well, a psychologist might be a job that's perfect for you." Georgie said, whispering to Missy, "...You get to listen to people talk about their personal lives...".
"...Like gossip?..." Missy whispered back to Georgie, who nodded and smirked at her. "...That's like a dream job... like on TV..." Missy said with sparkling eyes, continuing, "Do I have to study to become a psychologist too?!" Her eyes sparkled even more at the thought.
"Haha, of course, you still need to study." Georgie said, kissing Missy's head as she went back to grumbling.
"Alright! I'll study!" Missy declared with determination, but her enthusiasm waned quickly. "…After I finish watching ALF."
"Hahaha… Of course." Georgie chuckled, gently ruffling her hair. "You know I support you, right? Whatever you want to be, I'll support you. And your family will support you too."
"Uhum." Missy murmured, snuggling closer to Georgie. The two continued watching TV together, basking in the harmonious moment.
