Back at his place, Shen Mochen diligently reviewed his lessons. After the school anniversary, there would be mock exams, and he had a bet with Catherine.

Although it was somewhat of a joke at the time, Shen Mochen felt he absolutely had to win.

He wasn't entirely sure of his victory, though he had beaten Catherine once a long time ago, but that victory was rather lucky, with their scores barely differing. Since then, Shen Mochen had never given his all in exams and didn't really know the extent of Catherine's strength against his own.

Before he knew it, it was almost midnight. Shen Mochen checked the time, thinking it was fine to sleep late since the next day was the school anniversary.

A familiar ringtone sounded, and Shen Mochen instinctively grabbed his phone, a smile curling at the corner of his lips when he saw the caller.

"Hello, what's up, calling so late?" Shen Mochen hummed.

"I just knew you wouldn't be asleep yet!" Caiyu laughed and chided.

"About to sleep, there's a super beautiful girl naked and waiting for me in bed!"

"Cut it out, what super beautiful girl? Is she prettier than me?"

Shen Mochen's smile widened, "Definitely prettier than you!"

Caiyu tsked, disdainfully scoffing, "Your taste has truly gone astray!"

"That's just blatant jealousy!"

"I'm jealous?"

"Alright, alright, I'm studying!"

"Everyone is twenty-one now, you can't really call her a girl anymore once she's over twenty!"

"So, where's your girlfriend?"

Shen Mochen paused, then clicked his tongue, "Who...oh, you mean that foreigner. She's really not my girlfriend, I'll dump her in a few days!"

Caiyu spoke ominously, "Are you not afraid she'll get mad and have someone beat you up?"

Shen Mochen laughed loudly, "Aren't you strong? You'll protect me right!"

"I know." Shen Mochen said, "I have something to tell you… ah, never mind, I'll wait till you get back."

"Just say it now."

"Nothing much, just a minor thing, nothing serious, we can talk when you get back."

He just wanted to mention something about transferring schools, but it indeed wasn't much of an issue.

"Alright then, I'm hanging up. Don't study too late, balance work and rest, alright? Take good care of yourself, I'll be waiting for you to come back and deal with me."

"Don't worry, when you say deal with you, I'll deal with you. When you come back, I'll deal with you!"

Caiyu chuckled softly, "Alright, I'm hanging up then."

Shen Mochen nodded, preparing to end the call, or she would keep on listening.

"Hey, wait…" Caiyu suddenly said.

"What else?"

"Good night... and get to sleep earlier from now on."
