Chapter 53- Confession?
"Akira? What kind of joke is this? "
The one who nearly shouted his words in exasperation was none other than Haruto who currently had his back pressed against the wall and Akira on his lap.
Having such a tempting and beautiful girl such as her, was given that any healthy man would feel exhilarated and the most blessed moment of their life but why then did Haruto, who was surely a straight man with highly active hormones react negatively?
Well, having one's hands cuffed out of nowhere surely is not something anyone would like to experience, until the said person doesn't have 'those' kinds of tendencies.
"It's a reassurance, Haru-kun. I can't afford to let you wander away again. "
But for Akira, it seemed she was just doing what was the most expected thing, without holding a single fraction of consideration for him into account. She never cared for Haruto's consent since in her mind he was only meant to be with her.
If your precious thing suddenly gets lost, what would you do upon tracking it down them? Of course, increase security over it. For Akira, Haruto was more precious than anything. He was her life, her peace, her sense of excitement, her source of grief. Though she knew in a way it wasn't normal, there wasn't anything she could and would do about it. She likes the way she thinks and the belongingness she feels toward Haruto was maybe the feeling which has kept her alive all this time.
Losing him destroyed all senses of her reasoning as Akira fanatically tried to search for him, but the one who came out to be useful in such a dire period was someone Akira was wary of.
However, it didn't matter. To gain Haruto, Akira can lose her life worth fortune, so pride was not something she counted as a major loss. And in return, the redhead seemed to have finally given up on Haruto as well, so win-win in that phase.
Previously, when Akira met Haruto after this long time, her mind fell into painful numbness and all she was able to do, was to embrace him. But now that they have hugged and confessed how they dearly missed each other, Akira devised the primary objective she had preplanned. She masterfully hid how she planted a small bug-sized GPS over his shirt button and this small house was surrounded by two hundred guards as well, in case Haruto suddenly throws her off and decides to run away.
But what Haruto did was just grumble slightly, with no extreme resistance.
"I was not going to run away, Akira. I tried my luck and thought that you might understand how important it is for us to stay aw-"
"Seize yourself from saying such words Haru-kun since I do not want to hear it anymore. "
Haruto had no option rather than to halt his word since her dainty fingers were currently pressing his lips. The look in her eyes was threatening, indicating how dead serious she was about it.
But strangely Haruto didn't feel alarmed, rather...
Akira remained still for a moment before she brought her other hand to clutch his collar and bring his face toward hers before continuing.
"If you didn't understand until now, then please listen to me carefully. "Her lips grew closer, their breath colliding, heartbeat reaching to their limit, yet Akira somehow oozed the words she held for a while now, "You belong to me and only me. Your past, present, and future begins and ends with me. You are not allowed to go out of my sight nor I will allow you to ever abandon me. If anything then it should only be Akira for Haruto and Haruto for Alira, understood? "
Her whispers from this close added to her natural scent were making it difficult for Haruto to retain his composure, more so when her butt was just above something involuntarily reactive.
But the words she spoke out held importance for him, and so Haruto listened to them carefully.
However, when it came to an end, his brows were raised seemingly in surprise.
Akira was not ready to face the question he unexpectedly raised.
"Are you confessing your love for me? "
It wasn't that Haruto was trying to tease her but this was something that came to his mind naturally upon hearing her warning.
In normal circumstances, a girl in her teenage years should have been blushing all over the place and so Haruto also expected from Akira...or more like he was looking forward to seeing her flustered expression.
But...
"And what if I am? Is it allowed only for you to confess? "
"Hmmm...then should I reply in the same way you did? "
"That... "
This time her expression shifted and Haruto instantly regretted teasing her with such a reply. He should have remembered that such things ought to be sensitive and he just joked about it.
But before he could have said anything Akira looked back at him, before she said began to narrate something he never had any previous idea of.
"Haru-kun... I need to tell you something...about what happened during our middle high.... "

A/N: - I am taking time for their conversation since from here on there is little to no drama or plot remaining. I could have prolonged the end but well, it would ruin the story.
