Yandere girls and my fragmented daily life

Chapter 13 - [A tough weekend (2)]

Ling Fan was startled, beads of sweat forming on his forehead. This was the first time Su MoRan had hugged him like this. It was an unprecedented level of physical contact for them.

Ling Fan was filled with anxiety, his eyes locked on the door, dreading the possibility of an unforeseen arrival that could bring about unimaginable consequences.

“Brother Ling Fan, can we have the class in my room? You’ve been here for a while and haven’t seen my room yet,” Su MoRan said cheerfully, keeping a firm grip on his arm.

At this moment, Su MoRan, who was close to Ling Fan, caught a faint scent of shampoo.

The scent was not from the shampoo Brother Ling Fan used; it seemed to belong to a girl.

Su MoRan narrowed her eyes slightly, taking note of the scent.

Ling Fan realized something was off and wondered if he had accidentally gotten into the wrong car today.

Countless thoughts raced through Ling Fan’s mind. He had never been to Su MoRan’s room before. Normally, someone in his position would probably be curious to explore.

When there were people at home, Ling Fan would never dare to cross any boundaries. But with no one home today, if he went to Su MoRan’s room and Su Wen unexpectedly returned, it would ruin his reputation forever.

“No, it’s fine. Let go of me first. We can have our lesson here; we’ve always been having lessons here, haven’t we?” Ling Fan immediately declined Su MoRan’s suggestion.

At Su MoRan’s home, Ling Fan had only been to the living room, bathroom, and kitchen, nowhere else.

“Recently, my lower back has been a bit sore, and this chair is uncomfortable for me. Brother Ling Fan, please be understanding. Otherwise, I won’t let go,” Su MoRan tightened her embrace.

Upon hearing this, Ling Fan’s eyes twitched involuntarily.

“And you’ve been at my house for so long but have only stayed in the living room. It makes MoRan seem very rude,” Su Moran insisted, placing the blame on Ling Fan.

Today, Su MoRan was a bit clingy, which Ling Fan clearly noticed.

Being held like this wasn’t a solution, but he couldn’t just start pushing her away.

“Alright then, I don’t know where your room is. Please take me there.”

“Thank you for understanding, Brother Ling Fan. If Mom suddenly comes back, I’ll explain everything to her,” Su MoRan said, smiling sweetly as she released Ling Fan’s arm.

Her smile was beautiful, but Ling Fan found it quite insincere.

Why do I feel like you’re actually hoping your mom makes a sudden return?

I still have a mission to complete. I can’t let my guard down.

“Su MoRan, lead the way,” Ling Fan said as he picked up his backpack.

“Just call me MoRan,” Su MoRan replied, pulling Ling Fan upstairs.

Ling Fan didn’t dare to respond. This form of address is too intimate, and he was currently in a risky period where he might easily get into trouble. It was best to remain silent.

Before long, Ling Fan was taken to Su MoRan’s room.

The room was quite large, occupying about one-third of the second floor of the villa.

As Ling Fan stepped inside, a distinct aroma filled the air, enveloping their senses. Then, a vibrant wave of color flooded his senses. The room was adorned with a small balcony, offering a lovely view through a side-facing floor-to-ceiling window, complemented by delicate pink curtains.

A few shojo mangas were placed next to a lazy sofa, and a tablet and phone were scattered across the bed. The phone model seemed identical to the ones Chu Yan and Xu YanRan had.

The bed was adorned with numerous stuffed animals, while the room boasted a desk, chair, bookshelf, wardrobe, computer, and other necessary items. There were also many small decorative items hanging around the room.

Though there were many items, they occupied less than half of the room, leaving a vast space to move around.

A wealthy person’s room was indeed different; even with so many things, there was still such ample space to move about. Ling Fan thought about his own cramped space and couldn’t help but feel sad.

As Ling Fan surveyed the room, Su MoRan discreetly shut the door and quietly secured the lock.

Ling Fan was completely oblivious to Su MoRan’s subtle gesture. He walked towards the desk and set down his backpack before asking Su MoRan,

“Are we having the lesson here?” To be honest, Ling Fan thinks that the desk seemed a bit low.

“How about here, Brother Ling Fan? This sofa is very comfortable. Can you bring that table over here?” Su MoRan pointed towards a table tucked away in the corner.

Seeing this, Ling Fan placed the table in the middle of the sofa as Su MoRan requested. They both sat cross-legged, and it turned out to be just right and quite comfortable.

Ling Fan sat up straight, fearing Su MoRan might make another request, and quickly began the lesson.

Fortunately, Su MoRan’s clinginess seemed to have faded, and had now turned into a well-behaved student, which made Ling Fan secretly relieved.

While Ling Fan was giving Su MoRan a lesson. In a nearby villa, Xu YanRan was lying on Chu Yan’s bed, engrossed in a romance novel.

At that moment, the door was pushed open, and Chu Yan entered, carrying a fruit platter.

Chu Yan, tell me honestly how your phone ended up on the ground this morning. Did someone bully my little Yan?’ Xu YanRan said, pointing to the broken phone on the floor.

When Chu Yan returned in the morning, she seemed a little distracted and had a slight blush on her face. Then she noticed that Chu Yan’s phone screen was shattered.

Although Xu YanRan’s grades weren’t the best, she was perceptive and quick-witted. Sensing there was a story, she immediately began to probe further.

“Nothing happened, YanRan. I accidentally dropped it myself,” Chu Yan replied, then took out an identical phone from the nearby cabinet. It was similar to the one Xu YanRan used, a high-end smartphone developed by the world-renowned company RVE, the Dream-S model.

The top configuration of this phone costs over ten thousand dollars. Ling Fan, being a bit out of touch, only knew that the phone was very high-end but had no other knowledge about it.

“Is that really the case? If someone bullied you, you should tell me. Those boys just like to pick on girls like you; they’re all full of bad intentions.”

“YanRan, you shouldn’t generalize like that,” Chu Yan voiced a different opinion.

As Xu YanRan’s close friend, Chu Yan knew that Xu YanRan rarely interacted with boys at school. However, Chu Yan was aware that there were quite a few boys who liked Xu YanRan, enough to form a circle around the entire track field.

“These shoujo novels must have poisoned you,” Xu YanRan said, waving the novel in her hand at Chu Yan.

Suddenly, Xu YanRan had a mischievous thought and smiled slyly.

“Hmmm~ Tell me, is there some foolish guy that caught my Chu Yan’s eye?” Xu Yanran asked with a mischievous smile, looking at Chu Yan.

Chu Yan was currently removing the SIM card from the broken phone and transferring it to the new one.

“Yan Ran, stop joking around. How can there possibly be? All the boys are looking at you!” Chu Yan replied, then took the phone case off the old phone and put it on the new one.

This phone case was a gift from Xu YanRan, so Chu Yan was reluctant to part with it.

“Besides, you were quite engrossed yourself!” Chu Yan seized the opportunity to retort.

“I-I was looking with a critical eye,” Xu YanRan stammered, caught off guard by Chu Yan’s remark.

She suddenly remembered that she had once seen some explicit images on Ling Fan’s phone by chance. Ling Fan claimed he was looking at them with a critical eye, aiming to promote artistic progress.

At that time, she was actually convinced by Ling Fan’s excuse.

So, Xu YanRan decided to use Ling Fan’s excuse to respond.

Chu Yan naturally didn’t believe it and started engaging in their usual playful banter with Xu YanRan.

Xu YanRan couldn’t help but wonder what Ling Fan might be up to at this very moment. After thinking about Ling Fan, his image became hard to shake off.

She had invited Ling Fan to her house on Saturday morning, but Ling Fan had always said he had other plans in the morning and had consistently declined her invitation.

Ling Fan put away his books and checked the time on his phone. It was almost time to take Su MoRan out for lunch.

“Are you hungry? We’re done here for today. Let’s go out for lunch,” Ling Fan said to Su MoRan.

“Okay, Brother Ling Fan. Um, I need to use the restroom for a moment. Can you wait for me?” Su MoRan asked, her face reddening. It seemed that asking to go to the restroom in front of Ling Fan was a bit embarrassing for her.

Oh, come on. Why weren’t you this shy when you were hugging me earlier? You weren’t like this when asking to go the restroom before!

“Alright, I’ll wait for you outside the front door,” Ling Fan grumbled internally but decided to act as if he knew nothing. He grabbed his backpack and headed downstairs.

When Ling Fan passed through the living room, he remembered that he had to bring Su MoRan back here later. So he decided to leave his backpack on the living room sofa and wait outside the front door in the sun for Su MoRan.

“Little Yan, let’s head over to my house for lunch. I’m starving.”

“You’re still hungry after eating so many snacks?” Chu Yan stared in disbelief at Xu YanRan’s stomach and couldn’t resist the urge to lift up her shirt.

Smooth skin and a slender waist without a hint of excess flesh.

“I really envy your figure,” Chu Yan said enviously.

“Ah, little Yan, you pervert!” Xu YanRan quickly escaped from Chu Yan’s grasp and grabbed a bottle of mineral water.

“Hurry up and come down!”

“Coming!” The two of them exited the villa, one after the other.

“Do you think your teacher this afternoon will welcome me?” Chu Yan asked anxiously, walking beside Xu YanRan.

“I think…” Xu YanRan said as she twisted open the bottle cap, preparing to take a sip.

Suddenly, Xu YanRan spotted a familiar figure not far away—Ling Fan.

Without answering Chu Yan’s question, Xu YanRan was about to greet Ling Fan cheerfully. Suddenly, she thought of a question and swallowed her words before they could leave her mouth.

What was Ling Fan doing here at this time?

But she didn’t ponder it for long, as the next moment quickly unfolded.

In the next moment, she saw Su MoRan walk out, pulling Ling Fan’s arm as they headed towards the community gate.

The water bottle slipped silently from Xu YanRan’s hand, hitting the ground with a thud and splashing water onto her shoes. Xu YanRan stood frozen in place, staring blankly at Ling Fan and Su MoRan’s departing figures, completely unaware.
