One of the police force members stepped forward, his eyes wide with fury.

"How dare you commit such an act!"

The Uchiha and Hyuga clans were both renowned in the ninja world for their eye-based kekkei genkai.

For the Hyuga clan's branch members, marked by the caged bird seal, death on the battlefield would trigger the seal to release chakra, completely destroying the optic nerves of their eyes.

And their stance was much more uncompromising.

Hiruzen Sarutobi finally arrived at the scene, immediately shouting to stop the confrontation.

He glanced at Danzo's right arm, his face showing a look of helplessness.

To say that Hiruzen Sarutobi, as the Hokage, was completely unaware of Root's secret hunting of Uchiha ninjas over the years would be to greatly underestimate him.

But on one hand, the village needed the power of Root to handle matters that couldn't see the light of day.

After noting this internally, Night Star placed his longsword against Danzo's neck, looked toward Hiruzen Sarutobi, and said calmly:

"Hokage-sama, Elder Danzo seizing and hoarding the Sharingan of our Uchiha clan is an unforgivable crime."

Without giving Hiruzen Sarutobi any chance to respond, Night Star shifted his gaze to the surrounding crowd and spoke slowly:

"So tell me, today it's the Sharingan of our Uchiha clan. Tomorrow, will it be the Byakugan of the Hyuga clan?"

"And the day after? The secret techniques of the Yamanaka, Nara, Aburame, Inuzuka, and Akimichi clans?"

"Or even your personal wealth?"

This statement from Night Star instantly turned the villagers and ninjas, who had been watching from the sidelines, into Danzo's opposition.

He was entirely correct.

The Sharingan, as a kekkei genkai, was the foundation of a ninja's identity.

If Danzo would go to such lengths for the Sharingan's power, committing unspeakable acts in secret, what about the other kekkei genkai clans and noble families practicing secret techniques within the village?

If they stood by now, today's Uchiha might become their own fate in the future.

Shikaku Nara, Choza Akimichi, and Inoichi Yamanaka, the heads of the Ino–Shika–Cho trio, all had visibly heavier expressions after hearing Night Star is words.

Even Hiruzen Sarutobi, who might have been inclined to protect Danzo, found himself at a loss for words.

After all, he wasn't just the Third Hokage of Konoha; he was also the leader of the Sarutobi clan, another noble family directly named by Night Star.

At this moment, Fugaku Uchiha walked up to Night Star, tugged at his sleeve, and said in a low voice:
