Worlds Away (JJK AU)

Chapter 12: Negligence

Toji takes a swig from the Jameson bottle that Nanami thought was secretly tucked away in his desk drawer. They've gathered in the large open office to see off Toji and Itadori before they leave, not knowing the state of Elska or Satoru and preparing for the worst.

"…Hahhh this shit burns so good.", Toji rumbles before tipping the bottle back again in an attempt to harden his nerves. He hasn't worked out how things will go after they bring Gojo back but he he's pretty sure Gojo will likely try to go after him, 'If not for what I've done then for the threats I've recently made concerning her.' Ignoring judgment from the others, the giant exhales sharply and guzzles a few gulps, contemplating on how he hasn't developed grays yet.

Megumi clears his throat in passive protest to Toji's consumption which has to happen twice before being regarded. Their eyes finally meet which is when Toji bashfully removes the bottle from his lips to wipe them.

"This is all such shit...", the giant seethes his indignation with his emerald gaze glued to the pale wooden floor.

Gojo can be absolutely ruthless, which Toji has learned over time as he puzzled together the enigma of Elska and Satoru. The six-eyes wielder has committed horrible crimes that far outweigh Toji's own transgressions. He's always hated how the silver shitbag seems to assume the idiocy of those that surround him by masking that sociopathic nature.

Many in the clans chose to take a breath of reprieve and happily turned away once Gojo's tendencies had seemingly softened due to Elska but Toji knows better than to assume he's truly a changed man. He takes another swig.

Worriedly, Itadori observes the giant before pointing and looking over to Nanami, "…Ummm should he be doing that? I kinda feel like this isn't the time..."

"No, he really shouldn't.", Nanami replies with narrowing eyes that strike through when he shifts his sunglasses. Kento has a well-respected reputation and is known to uphold the rules so he's additionally irritated that Toji seamlessly knew better than that. He's suspicious of how he somehow knew where to look since he's never shared any bottles on the property before, "Drinking before a rescue mission...". He can only glare disapprovingly.

Defensively, Toji spits, "Shut the fuck up! You guys have no idea how serious this is. I'm not trying to get wasted for fuck's sake...", his voice trails off as the the inner one screams anxiety, "...I just want to take the edge off." The entire original plan is a fucking joke by this point. Toji knew he shouldn't have let her go alone but chose to ignore his gut.

'Doll, I'm fucking pathetic.', he stares into the cylindrical green bottle and swirls its contents until the reminder of Elska makes him set it down. His eyes reflexively dart to Megumi who inadvertently grants him the last scraps of purpose needed to face this trial head on. It's reassuring, 'At least he isn't like me.'

"Fushiguro-sensei!"

Toji feels his face twist with disgust as he orients towards Yuuji, "Kid, I am not you're sensei. This is also not a game. Elska is trapped over there and has been for about 45 minutes. Do you know what they want from her kid? Do ya?"

Itadori's cheeks sink in as if his bubble was crudely popped but lowers his eyes and solemnly shakes his head no.

Nanami calmly rises from his chair to chime in with words that oppose his demeanor, "Fushiguro, don't."

"They're going to fucking hurt her.", Toji's malice audibly brews, "They want to decide her fate and force her to produce heirs like a fucking factory, boy. She's a tool in their eyes..."

"Toji.", Nanami takes a few steps forward with a lowered tone when he warns, "It's your turn to shut the fuck up." He's relieved when the giant sighs aggressively and sends an expression of remorse. "I understand the situation perfectly. We all want Oda and Gojo back...you just need to keep it together so you can make it happen."

Toji's foot absentmindedly taps while swallowing down the embarrassment of being reprimanded. There aren't many people that he would allow to talk to him like that but he honestly holds nothing but respect for Nanami as a man. Toji also knows that he's right.

"You can't mess this up.", Megumi shares a confident smile, "And you guys won't."

Revamped by Megumi's statement, Toji cackles and slips, "That's the crazy in ya. It runs in the family." Immediately choking on his own words, he coughs and swiftly orients towards Yuuji, "You understand what to do once we're in?"

"We go in, I grab El, you grab Gojo-sensei, we leave.", Itadori replies, tossing his childish demeanor aside for this far more serious one. He's aware that he's constantly underestimated because of his joyful attitude and wants to establish his investment. Sukuna aside, Itadori has pretty incredible physical aptitudes for a human and wishes that would be remembered more often and not be cloaked by the fact that his personality is a little goofy. He wants to save his sensei and get Elska back safely; there's no question there.

"Alright then.", Toji looks down as he says it, stomach churning with how much time has passed.

He isn't sure how far Naoya will go. Toji has never taken him seriously before now never nor has he ever considered Naoya to be a factor that he'd ever have to worry about, with anything.

The punk is strong and is certainly suited as a clan head with his traditional misogynistic attitude but Toji is 9 years older and thus has always seen him as a rottenly annoying little shit. The boy had every privilege and opportunity that eluded Toji his entire life and sometimes that resentment would peer through their interactions.

Toji was very surprised to see how he handled the apartment situation though; thinking that her clashing with the Zenin's dominating nature would surely freak him out to the point of not holding interest. That seemed the case too, or so Toji hoped, when Naoya refused to leave his quarters for days afterward.

Nope.

The little fucker lights up like a Christmas tree anytime her name is mentioned and found out that Naoya has been secretly arranging renovations at his estate to better accommodate Elska in the future. Toji has to wonder, 'Does that seem like the actions of man who only desires to breed?'

Eerie energy begins siphoning into the room, redirecting Toji's focus as the words, "Fuck yea, Choso!", sing into the others' ears.

Itadori can't help but chuckle when Toji's massive arm wraps around his neck and cheerfully shakes him side to side. Seeing the giant joyful is a rare sight.

The portal is slowly forming; growing in circumference until it's a 4ft tall oval standing about a foot off of the ground. The air around them swirls, creating howls of various pitches, low and high alike.

Toji cracks his neck before moving towards it with, "I fucking hate this part…", but snatches Itadori's red hood and briskly explains, "It's going to feel a little weird but you'll be fine. Whatever you do, just don't lose your shit kid, I'm going to have to let go at some point after we enter." With this said, Toji leaps into the portal with Itadori tugged closely behind.

'Doll, I'm on my way...', Toji's last thoughts before their genetic makeup temporarily unravels to coincide with the shadow realm.

==============

Elska is being held by Satoru. His long arms wrap completely around her, the beat of his heart timing her ear and everything about it pets her nerves with egis. It has felt like a lifetime since she's felt his heat, his love, his breath, his touch.

And so much has happened in the past 3 months.

Every so often the current duress winds her neck to the left in order to peek on Naoya's condition being as she's still extremely upset. 'I...I did that to him...', sinking her heart as she recalls how awful it felt to helplessly watch him bleed.

She could have tried her own healing technique a few moments ago though so she wasn't entirely helpless, she just froze. Naoya would've had to have been awake for it to work and him not drown anyways so perhaps it's not a good idea after all.

But no.

Even with all of the alternatives laid before them she still tried to turn him. The fact that she wasn't aware of this ability she possesses up until this point is haunting as well. Once she initiated the act the sequencing of the ritual became a second nature to her instantly.

'What would that have done to Naoya? Is he really going to be ok?'

Their interactions don't make much sense still but her heart breaks for the ribboned Zenin lying unconsciously on the floor. Gojo's lips grace the top of her head which births a much needed smile as she registers that he's really free.

They've succeeded. She's going to bring sweet Sati home.

A low whoosh disturbs the stagnant air. Elska wants to understand what it could've been but as she nudges to see for herself, the arms that hold her begin to squeeze tightly.

Tighter.

Too tight.

"Sa-ti…what ar-…that hurts!", Elska shrieks and digs her fingers into Satoru's shoulder blades trying to clearly signal that this is uncomfortable, painful. He merely huffs as his head is turned in the direction in which the weird sound came from.

'Why is he doing this?!'

Tighter.

"Sati…please!", She hears a second swoosh-like sound and suddenly can feel Itadori's presence but she can't turn to see him, "Let me go!", but her pleas become muffled by his shaman jacket.

Toji's voice enters her ears, "Elska! Thank fucking Go-…", he begins to speak at the same moment she feels a large hand brush her shoulder from behind.

"YOU." Gojo's voice rattles against her cranium as it reaches an atomic new low.

Satoru's arms release Elska away as he launches an extended hand into Toji's throat.

"How dare you try to fucking touch her? Are you fucking stupid or what?", Gojo was so fast that physically being able to see him move at Toji was impossible. He was just there constricting Elska but now is across the room violently crushing Toji into the stone wall.

"SATI! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"

Gojo ignores the cries of his love and kicks the chair behind him that used to be his prison, the act seeming symbolic.

"You're. Fucking. Dead.", Satoru snarls viciously while squeezing the muscular neck in front of him. Toji's flickering eyes that bounce between himself and Elska influence his mouth curling downward from rapacious hatred.

"Don't fucking look at her you traitorous piece of shit..." Gojo is certain that his face resembles almost that of an angry beast for he cannot contain his vile hatred for the imposter before him, "Can't believe you actually thought you'd get away with any of this.", allowing his saved up energy to surge through the air.

Elska motionlessly gapes; Gojo's voice sounds so venomous that it's like he's become a completely different man.

Toji feels the pressure of Gojo's grasp and initially struggles to remain able to speak. He sees Choso signaling a confused Itadori to hold Elska back and once gathering his options, he reaches behind to his waistband to pull out his katana.

"Go-J...", he can't even tell the silver dick to fuck off.

The fastening grasp around his neck only intensifies and Toji knows that if he's going to stand a fighting chance in hell, he needs to bring Gojo out into the open where he can use the surrounding environment. Being trapped here is not good. His eyes shoot over to Choso again who is not paying them any mind now as he seems to be healing Naoya and monitoring Itadori. 'What happened to Naoya? Why are they healing him?', he faintly asks himself while realizing the relief of knowing Naoya wasn't actually killed during this. 'Okay...gotta get off this wall...', he tells himself before using his hands to discretely manipulate and unsheathe the blade behind his back.

"I fucking hate you Toji, do you know that?", Gojo tilts his head up and peers downward as if he's looking down upon a pile of feces, "You're all fucking cowards."

Satoru's red technique hues their entirety into a crimson filter, urging Toji to stall and taunt, "Did you...tell her Gojo?", forcing the sound through his crushed windpipe. The spite in Gojo's eyes soars through him as he forced even deeper into the stone, the wall starting to crack and crumble into chunks and bits of powder. Toji will never admit to fear but he is definitely on edge with being caught like this even if it would take more effort to kill him than a normal human.

But Gojo knows that.

Toji asks again only louder.

"YOU STUPID CUNT!", Gojo smashes his forehead into Toji's nose and takes pride in the watery haze that clouds the giant's eyes, then to the blood the pours.

"Gahh, FUCK!", the stinging ache wrecks Toji's face but he forces his eyes open to glare his vengeance. Satoru's predatorial gaze never wanders to Elska but Toji can glance over and see how the question rattles her and how she's trying to figure out what it could mean.

Toji knew it would come to this but thought there would be more time and less spectators.

'DId YoU tElL hEr GoJO?', Satoru ridicules inside of his mind while deciding which of the many ways he was going to end this traitorous fuck once and for all. 'Should I gouge his eyes first or last? Skin him alive after decimating his bones or after searing off his limbs?'

Of course he didn't fucking tell her.

Unbeknownst to Toji, up until few minutes ago he was too busy being a cuck and appreciating Elska getting dicked down by Naoya but that is besides the point.

He has no intentions of telling her.

Gojo vaguely hears Elska calling out to him, asking him to let Toji go but it sounds so faint even though he knows she's only about 6 ft away.

"HA! Absolutely not. He dies.", and with this Satoru brings his red cursed energy inches from Toji's face and looks down on him with a malicious smile. He leans in towards Fushiguro and whispers, "She will never know, you pitiful old fool."

He's so tickled to release the technique into Toji, deciding to melt his face first but he's made to jump away from him as Toji's arms come together between them and bring forward his katana.

'That sly dick...', Gojo immediately recognizes this special grade weapon. Although it is not a cure-all for Toji's situation, this particular katana has been infused with a technique that has curse energy nullifying properties. It cannot simply break through Gojo's infinity but it's one of the few weapons left that can mangle his armor since the resonance from it disturbs the cataloged wave lengths his infinity produces. He offers his new enemy a smirk.

"It looks like we're going to have some fun then. I figured you wouldn't let me put you down that easily.", Gojo eerily seeps the words as he stands back retracting his arms, more composed.

'Shit. The psycho is coming out...', the last thing Toji wants see happening. His palms automatically sift for their perfect grip and rub the black leather Ito with increased pressure.

Gojo laughs at Toji who is in a firm stance and wears a serious face. It makes him feel good to see the abandoned trash sweating. 'I am going to enjoy the fuck out of this...', Satoru's internal delight becomes more apparent when Toji coughs and hacks, trying to regaining his ability to breath without hindrance.

"Sati!"

Gojo flashes one look to Elska in his crazed state and interprets her alarm instantaneously. 'As I thought…' The disappointment hurdles through his chest in a similar way he'd imagine a bullet, 'Nothing's changed.'

Elska will grow to fear him all over again if he's exposed.

He turns back to Toji, ready to paint the walls with brains but the traitor is already spewing his filth.

"DOLL DON'T TRUST HIM!! GOJ-", Toji head flops to the side after receiving a fist, his ears ringing.

Wild eyed, Satoru yanks the limp man from the wall by the collar and snaps his attention to the open portal on his right.

"SATI WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!?", Elska fights against Itadori's hold, "God damnit Yuuji! LET ME GO!"

"Stay out of this love.", Gojo's eyes coldly switch to her, his tone deathly grave. Her expression is less consumed with horror and has been replaced with bewilderment but he finds little comfort in that.

Satoru belts out a hateful scream as he spins and kicks Toji in the ribs so hard that it sends the massive man back through portal. Gojo then shoots a quickly summoned red flash into it and then follows behind his own attack, leaving without having said another word to anyone else in the room.

"We have to go Elska!" Itadori is unsure of what just happened but knows they have to return to intervene, "Come on!" But what are they supposed to do though to stop them? Toji and Gojo are on a completely different playing field; they're fucking strong.

She's finally able to look at Naoya who has luckily regained some his color. The heaviness within threatens to weigh her down until she becomes trodden into the floor. She has no idea what the Zenin means to her anymore and that scares her a little. Her eyes float down to Choso who seems to be in far more pain than he's trying to let on but it hits her, 'He's straining to heal Naoya because of the portal technique...' and she makes a decision.

She softly requests, "Please take care Naoya...", as she's weary to meet the being's gaze. There's something mortifying about him although he doesn't at all seem to outwardly reflect any of it. His harrowing eyes leave Itadori and come to her for a moment but she feels like he's scooping out a chunk of her soul for examination. They're still completely blackened and feel incredibly invasive.

"I will.", is all Choso says but she tries a smile for him as her and Itadori go to leave.

She turns to see the Zenin man who she feels is holding a piece of her heart hostage one last time. Choso remains dutiful with his healing abilities, giving her a guilty helping of relief.

When they exit through the gateway, Choso closes it immediately and wheezes for dear life while the color simultaneously rushes back into his eyes. He feels extremely light-headed and tilts his head upwards to allow some symptoms to pass and regrets not finding the time to approach Itadori.

 "El-…sk.."

Naoya's dead man mumbles help Choso regain his mental footing so he can now endure the task of saving him.

—————————————————-

"MOOOOOVE!!!!" Toji hollers, somersaulting and rolling to his feet upon exiting the portal. He pushes harshly past Nanami who knocks over Shoko and then barges himself through the office door into the hall but screams, "GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE! HE'S FUCKING COMING!" He then yells nothing particular as he stampedes to the emergency stairs.

Toji was able to gain some ground since he was far more accustomed to traveling through Choso's realm but it wouldn't save that much time.

"SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT!", signs posted at the end of the hall indicate what level he's on. He could run down but he's 16 levels up where as the roof is only 2 floors away.

Roof it is.

As the stairwell door slams shut an explosion comes from the direction of Nanami's office.

"God damn it…"

Toji huffs as he quickly climbs the stairs until he barrels through the metal door that leads to the open and clouded night sky. He runs about midway across the roof through some shallow puddles that have formed from the rain that falls overhead. "I'm going to need more weapons."

Toji braces one hand against a large air conditioning unit as he leans over and looks at his feet. He inhales into a physical shudder as he takes his index and middle finger and shoves them down his throat.

He heaves a little bit, but not enough.

His hair and clothes collect rain water and run down his body as he hurriedly attempts his fingers into his throat a second time.

"Come onnnnn."

Same, dry result causing everything to convulse slightly as his GI tract refuses to submit.

'I knew this would be shit.'

He takes a deep breath and inserts his hand a third time but abruptly stops as his fingertips reenter.

Toji's senses are overwhelmed by a familiar, galvanizingly powerful presence.

His eyes stay trained on where the unit meets the concrete but they widen as he understands Gojo warped next to him instead of bursting down the door like he expected.

"Whatchya doin' there?", Gojo sounds so friendly, unmatched by his darkened eyes and deliberately sinister aura. He saw Toji trying to induce himself into vomiting, 'But why?'

"That's pretty fucking strange man, even for you…" Once Satoru finishes the statement, he effortlessly swings a hard kick into Toji's back that connects above his hips and across his spine, bending him into the air conditioning unit. "Not so fucking tough now that the king is free, are we?" He snickers with all the audacity as he is finally able to play with this bastard like he's rehearsed countless times while sealed, "And you thought you could fuck my love and not pay with your life?"

Although stilled for a moment, Toji is soon using his arms to push himself out of the crushed unit to stand upright. He look behind him to find that the metal is completely impacted where his body was forced into it but it did leave him with lesions.

When Toji turns to face him, Gojo witnesses the brutality spark in his opponent the moment the giant tilts his head down and spits some blood to floor with a grin. He even offers, "It's more like I'd pay with my life to fuck her."

"Hahahhmmmmm...", Gojo morbidly hums to deflect the images that illustrate his love being stuffed, "Get it out of your system now because you're about to be a stain in the rain." Satoru remembers the descriptive encounters of Elska's feedings and the loneliness he was forced to absorb as this cunt tried to replace him. He recalls how he had to learn of Toji's involvement with Getou, the trap they all helped to set.

The reoccurring rage that accompanies everything in his mind reasons Gojo to begin a mixed assault of fists to which some of Toji is able to dodge, not surprisingly. They're no longer standing still but are moving dynamically against each other across the reflective surface, inhumanly exchanging each other in close combat. Gojo is more toying with him than anything but has always appreciated the skill level Toji displays in a fight. Toji's precise, calculated, strategical, cold-blooded and not to mention innately well-versed in the use of weapons.

None of that matters anymore however, Toji has stepped out of place for the last fucking time.

 ————————————————

When Elska arrives out of the portal, she's completely taken by surprise with the destruction that used to be Nanami's office. Papers lie everywhere, the walls look like they've been electrocuted and peeled, the long L-shaped desk that hooks in the corner closest to the door now obliterated into pieces. Itadori follows out behind her and immediately calls out for the others, "GUYS! WHERE ARE YOU?!"

'Please be alright!!', She abruptly worries as her legs take her out of the room; her mind succumbing to the scene.

'Sati did this? He could've hurt everyone…', She's so confused.

That's not her sweet Sati, he would never do that. Her breath hitches in her throat for a second as she makes a remarkable internal discovery.

Gojo's flavor.

It's short lived however as she's brought back to the chaos, wondering what could going on between him and Toji? She fears that it has something to do with the cryptic code within Toji's blood, the one she could never solve or internalize. Or maybe it's from the depravity that she's tasted in Satoru for years.

"Everybody is alright, we managed to evade the blast with Toji's warning…barely though…", Shoko is sitting against the wall down the hall and is pointing towards the stairwell door. "Gojo and Toji are fucking duking it out. Kento, Megumi and Nobura went to stop them." Shoko sighs, "Bring the injured to me when its over!", ending the statement on a high and endearing note. It'll take more than this that to shake up Shoko.

Elska wants to smile for her friend's resilience but is stopped by the rumbling that ensues as the lights in the hall flicker and dust falls from the ceiling. 'They're going to level the fucking building if not stopped soon.'

Three tiles in front of Nanami's office fall to the floor.

"Shit!", Elska swivels and darts to the stairwell door, Shoko understanding the hasty absence from the conversation. She runs up the stairs having to bolt left after every 6 steps and a landing, until she reaches the door to the rooftop and opens it.

"No! Why are they doing this?!", She's stuck in place as she takes in their fighting with despair. Itadori rams into her as he probably expected her to move through the entranceway.

The rain is coming down hard so she squints, attempting to see them clearly as they're under the cover of the murky night sky. Toji is holding his own but in a more defensive way, Satoru is aggressively attacking with a mixture of martial arts and quickly summoned energy. It's not looking good.

"TOJIIII!!", She calls out to him reflexively as she worries that even with his strength and expertise, Satoru will ultimately pummel him. She's never seen Gojo like this and they've been placed in some momentarily stressful situations before in battle so she's understanding that she can't know what to expect from the insanely powerful shaman. Lightning strikes a couple miles away but it's illumination discloses the wickedness sprawled along Satoru's face.

She can only think to herself, 'So...it finally surfaces?'

Upon hearing her call his name, Toji's vision leaves Gojo to find her. He's overwhelmed with contrition as he too fears that without any weapons he will not be able do much other than dodge or poorly counter Gojo's attacks; straying him with the abysmal thought of never seeing Megumi or Elska again.

Lightening strikes off in the near distance again when he feels a painful depression in his gut and realizes that Gojo landed a hit. Toji drops down to his knees, doubled over in pain as his body splashes contact to the cement beneath him. He's coughing up blood instantly but his arms stretch out to catch himself from face planting.

"You could always beg me to stop Toji…" Gojo stands tall over him about, throwing his hands up and suggesting his foe's surrender. He no longer cares about who is watching them, he will cruelly kill Toji tonight. He just wants to hear him plead for mercy first, needs Toji to regret ever fucking crossing him openly.

He wants to crush this man's soul before his body.

"Come on big guy...I said BEG.", Gojo swings up a foot that uppercuts Toji's chin, sending his head flying backwards and uses the opportunity to grab him by the collar. He lifts the giant upwards and leans himself the remainder of the way to his eye level. "I should take your dick for a trophy...perhaps my love will want a small reminder of you after you're gone."

"You're fucking sick, Gojo!"

Toji's narrowed glared speaks of disobedience leading Satoru to now assume that he'll have to inflict more pain if he's going to hear the pissant sing.

"…Fine, fucking have it your way…", Gojo uses his free left hand to collide into Toji's stomach, swearing he arranged the organ into his lungs as he sinks it in. Toji immediately spews blood but all over Gojo's right arm and face to which he drops Toji in immediate disgust. "Jesus fuck, man…", He shakes the blood off of his shaman uniform and flicks it away as if it were never there or never truly touching the material to begin with.

"Were you drinking?", Gojo questions as the smell of alcohol swarms them and the contents of Toji's stomach spill out causing the giant to retch continuously while huddled over again on his knees. He's vomiting so much that Gojo is certain that he actually did rupture him internally and thinks, 'He has no choice but to surrender now...', meaning he was that much closer to finally ending the fucking bastard. He hears a chunky thick slap against the concrete, a puddle that's a mixture of Toji's blood, bile and rain. 'What the fuck was that?', Gojo curiously leans down to see which of the man's insides ended up outside in pure wonderment but is caught off guard by the profound hearty cackling exuding from Toji's bent over body.

"Eewwww! Is that your fucking worm!?", Gojo hollers in amazement as he quickly assesses the situation.

Toji has used compensatory techniques his entire life to make up for the fact that he is unable to wield cursed energy, such like his katana. No one exactly knows how the relationship came to be but Toji uses a cursed spirit that he simply refers to as 'Worm' to store his collection of weapons. The large frumpy, grey creature was usually laced around his torso with the tail resting on his hip and the head of the creature wrapping around and anchoring on his shoulder to secure itself into place. Toji could easily interchange weapons by shoving them into the worm's mouth and reach inside of it to pull others out. The worm was able to connect to some kind of storage that Gojo wasn't even sure was of this dimension.

'So he ate it..? What the fuuuuck?'

Toji is finally feeling a streak of luck when his tiny compressed companion falls out in front of him. He can't even control his laughter it's just such unfathomable timing, like he was meant to live after all.

"RISE WORM!", he commands the curse which causes it to grow exponentially and within seconds. After it slithers up his leg, Toji faulters to a stand one knee at a time feeling slightly rejuvenated even while his heavily dampened clothes stick to him. His eyes meet Gojo who is still only a few feet in front of him, noticing with annoyance that his infinity is keeping him dry from the rain. Gojo's eyes study him as Toji confidently reaches his right arm up and across his left shoulder and into the worm's mouth; grinning at the surprise he has in store for. Toji's teeth peer through his lips as his excitement builds while his hand is being suctioned in the worm's opening.

 ———————————————————————————

"NO STOP!", Elska cries for them to cease their fighting as she helplessly watches Toji pull from his cursed creature. She doesn't know which weapon he's going to use next but she can tell by his cocked-up demeanor that it's something he feels will be very useful.

'They can't do this.'

She runs through the rain trying to close the distance between her and them; they're now along the other edge of the large infrastructure. She still has no idea why they're trying to kill each other but she's not about to let either of them die, 'It has to be a misunderstanding, they're friends.'

If it's over Toji feeding her and more then she will just have to do her best to take the blame and say she encouraged it; used her pheromones so he wouldn't be able to resist her, that she threatened him, SOMETHING.

She only makes it about 9 ft before her uncertainties of being too slow to act unfold. Satoru didn't give Toji the chance to fully pull out his weapon before releasing his blue technique, critically injuring Toji and causing the massive unit that he was sent into to collapse harshly on top of him.

It all happened so fucking fast.

"NOO!", she cries as she frantically runs over to Toji, her senses sent haywire to the overwhelming presence of his blood.

He's bleeding out.

A small portion of her heart dismantles as she approaches him, only being able to view some of his chest and above, the rest punctured grotesquely underneath the jagged machine.

"TOJI!", Elska sobs and grabs his left hand with both of hers as she examines him, horridly noting that he's not responsive whatsoever. She feels his pulse, it's so weak that he may not even have minutes left. Defiantly, she notices Gojo has turned his back to them as if he doesn't care to see her concern for the man or probably assumes he died instantly with the amount of effort used.

Itadori found where the others were, she'd forgotten they were supposed to be up here too and figures Nanami probably was more worried about shielding the newly officiated shaman than anything once the fight became too intense. They all run towards Gojo with the exception of Megumi who's usually standoffish character is swarming with visual emotion.

As she glosses over the giant's swollen and beaten face through her tears, Elska leans down to place a shaky kiss onto his forehead and whispers his name to which he stirs a bit and gurgles; a small amount of blood leaking from the corner of his mouth. She follows its trail until the fluid and her eyes meet his neck. She becomes fixated, purposed and then her lungs flatten into rubber mats when reminded of Naoya.

'DO IT'

Elska's startled by the way the voice rattles within her head but identifies it's existence as it persuades her to experiment on Toji. The amount of energy that shoots through her body fuels the light from her eyes as her focus instinctually becomes only of the man that lies dying before her.

'NEED HIM'

She leans in closer while placing her hand firmly into his soaked black shirt, above Toji's heart.

"Need…him…", autonomously parrots from her lips before his upper body becomes shrouded in a red tint as her eyes begin to glow and her fangs form her mouth. She uses her other hand to gently tilt his head toward the right as she angles in her approach, feeling her wings lash out into existence from behind her. His tiny thick worm lights up near his head, it now cowering underneath his black hair with a nervous squeak. The violet light forms in her eyes and beams over his skin as she licks a section on the side of his neck.

"Elksa…what are you DOING?!", Megumi's frightened as he finally makes it to their sides thinking she's about to drink from him one last time. His stomach stretches immeasurably as he misunderstands the situation, finding himself nauseated and angered by her in that moment. She's treating his dad merely as food even at a time like this.

Gojo turns his attention back to her when he feels the strange coil of energy emerge from her direction, only having been somewhat exposed to the its wavelengths before. His eyes widen when the purple light beacons from her and he hears Megumi question her intentions.

"FUCK!!! LOVE DON'T!"

His gaze locks to her wings that are out and arched behind her in the same disturbing manner as before.

They just look so unnatural and contorted in that position.

By the time he directs movement to his body in order to teleport to her, he finds that he's too late.

'No…she fucking didn't...', Gojo stumbles backwards breathlessly to the result of his own negligence. Elska is completely face down into Toji's neck and crying as she releases a purple flash into his chest, causing Toji to respond as if she were a defibrillator. The blinding violet light travels over Toji's tattered form; Gojo's eyes flinch, his dark heart crashing to new depths when they meet her lips.

Her teeth are already buried into Toji's neck as the ritual has already begun.
