Chapter 3: Chapter 3: Goku Meets the Avengers
Goku POV
The bustling streets of Manhattan were unlike anything Goku had ever seen. The lights, the noise, the people—it was overwhelming and exhilarating all at once. After years of training in the serene peaks of K'un-Lun, this was a sensory overload.
He adjusted his orange and blue robes, a gift from his master in K'un-Lun, as he walked along the crowded streets. People gave him odd looks—his wild spiky hair, strange attire, and the calm aura of power he exuded made him stand out.
"This place is so alive," he whispered, a small smile tugging at his lips. "But something feels… wrong."
Goku closed his eyes, sensing the ki of the city. While most energy signatures were mundane, a few shone brightly. One, in particular, caught his attention—it burned like a star and was moving fast. He opened his eyes just in time to see the source land a few feet in front of him.
A red and gold figure emerged from the smoke, raising its palm, which glowed with a faint blue light.
"Hey, pal," the figure said, his voice modulated. "I don't suppose you're here to sell Girl Scout cookies, are you?"
---
Tony Stark POV
Tony stood in his Iron Man armor, analyzing the man in front of him. The energy readings were off the charts—stronger than anything he'd seen outside of Thor or the Hulk. This guy wasn't just powerful—he was dangerous.
"Who are you?" Tony asked, keeping his repulsor aimed squarely at the stranger.
The man tilted his head, clearly unfazed. "I'm Goku," he said simply. "I'm not here to fight. I just… wanted to see what the world outside K'un-Lun is like."
"K'un-Lun?" Tony repeated, frowning. "You're telling me you've been hiding out in some mystical city while the rest of us have been fighting aliens?"
Goku's expression darkened. "I didn't know about the aliens until recently. My masters taught me to protect this world… but to stay hidden. I don't think I can stay hidden anymore."
Tony lowered his repulsor slightly, but he didn't deactivate it. "Alright, fair enough. But you don't get to walk into my city with power levels that could flatten a building without answering a few questions."
Before Goku could respond, a shadow fell over them. A flash of lightning split the sky, and a familiar figure descended, his cape billowing behind him.
---
Thor POV
Thor landed heavily on the ground, Mjolnir at his side. His piercing gaze locked onto Goku. The power emanating from this mortal—or perhaps not mortal—was unmistakable.
"Who are you?" Thor demanded, his voice booming. "I sense a strength akin to my own."
"Goku," the man replied, bowing his head slightly in respect. "I don't mean any harm. I'm just trying to understand this world."
Thor's eyes narrowed. "Your power is not of Midgard. Speak plainly—are you friend or foe?"
Goku hesitated, sensing Thor's readiness for battle. The Asgardian wasn't bluffing—his ki was vast, primal, and intense. Goku instinctively took a defensive stance.
"I'm a friend," he said. "But if you want to test me, I won't back down."
Thor grinned. "A warrior's spirit. Very well—show me your strength!"
---
The Clash
The ground trembled as Thor lunged forward, Mjolnir crackling with lightning. Goku sidestepped the strike effortlessly, the hammer smashing into the pavement and sending debris flying. Goku countered with a quick burst of speed, appearing behind Thor and landing a controlled kick to his back.
Thor stumbled but recovered quickly, spinning with a wide arc of Mjolnir. The force of the swing created a shockwave that sent cars skidding. Goku leapt into the air, flipping gracefully before landing a few feet away.
"You're strong," Goku said, his Saiyan instincts stirring. "Stronger than anyone I've fought before."
"And you," Thor said, straightening, "fight like a god."
Before the clash could escalate, a voice cut through the chaos.
"Enough!" Tony hovered above them in his suit, his repulsors glowing. "Can we not turn Manhattan into a crater? Some of us still live here!"
Thor and Goku both paused, their battle-lust dissipating. Goku straightened and bowed slightly to Thor. "Sorry. I got carried away."
Thor chuckled. "No apologies needed. It has been a long time since I've faced a warrior with your skill."
Tony landed between them, his mask retracting to reveal his exasperated face. "Okay, now that you two have gotten your testosterone out of your systems, can we talk like adults?"
---
The Aftermath
The trio moved to Stark Tower, where the rest of the Avengers slowly began to gather. Steve Rogers arrived first, followed by Natasha Romanoff and Bruce Banner. Each of them eyed Goku warily, though Thor seemed oddly at ease.
"Let me get this straight," Steve said, arms crossed. "You're an alien who was raised in some mystical city, and you just decided to come out of hiding now?"
Goku nodded. "That's right. I sensed the battle in New York… and I realized I couldn't stay hidden anymore. If there are threats like that, I need to help."
Natasha raised an eyebrow. "And why should we trust you?"
Goku met her gaze, his expression earnest. "Because I want to protect this world. My masters taught me that true strength isn't about fighting—it's about protecting those who can't protect themselves. I won't let this world be destroyed."
There was a moment of silence as the Avengers exchanged glances.
"Well," Bruce said finally, "he's got the power to back it up. If he wanted to hurt us, he would've done it already."
Tony sighed, rubbing his temples. "Alright, fine. You're in. But if you so much as sneeze wrong, we'll take you down. Got it?"
Goku smiled, nodding. "Got it."

Daniel POV
From his cosmic perch, Daniel observed the scene with a grin. Watching Goku integrate with the Avengers was already proving entertaining. The clash with Thor, the suspicion from Natasha, the grudging acceptance from Tony—it was everything he'd hoped for.
"Let's see where this goes," Daniel said, leaning back. "This world is just starting to get interesting."
