Chapter 63: CH: 63 Greed
[Chapter 63 Greed]
Optimus nodded. "Yes, Galvatron (Megatron) will completely exterminate you humans this time."
"Your greed is really digging your own graves, but I'm finally free after doing my job. This result is also good for me. I'm going home, away from you humans and your greed for things that should not be taken," the little robot said.
"This is very interesting," William smiled.
"Is this funny to you? If we let them get the seed, then we are all dead," Su Yueming said loudly, then added, "No, I have to call Joyce and tell him not to let the seed get in their hands."
"It doesn't seem to be our business anymore, boss. Can we go now?" Hound asked.
"I can't wait to go home," Drift said.
Optimus Prime seemed to be thinking. Leaving in this way... if the conspiracy succeeded, millions of people would die at once, and then the extinction of the entire human race would be inevitable. Would it really be okay to leave like this?
"Is there a cell phone I can use?" Su Yueming asked.
"Nope," William spread his hands.
"Why do you not even have a phone?" Su Yueming glared at William.
"The cell phone is easy to make. You can use this," Crosshairs' eyes emitted a green light, shining on his own hand, and a cell phone appeared.
"Great."
"Here." He passed the phone to Su Yueming.
"Thank you." Su Yueming hurriedly dialed a number and called. "Joyce, is this you?"
"Sue, is it really you? Are you okay?" Joyce's voice came through.
Su Yueming immediately asked, "Joyce, where are you now?"
"I'm in our branch company located in China."
"Where are the prototypes? What about Galvatron? Did you take them with you?" Su Yueming asked.
"Yes, they were taken away too."
"Damn! Listen, your technology has been hacked, and your product's prototype has been infected. Do not give Galvatron a chance to approach the seed, or else everything will be over."
"Sue, what are you talking about? Galvatron is fine. I'm controlling him," Joyce replied.
William took the mobile phone from Su Yueming and smiled. "Ha! Well, it seems you know very well that your product is controlling you and is not doing everything you want it to."
"This voice… It's you," Joyce growled.
"Yep, it's me," William said before destroying the phone.
"I haven't finished talking yet!" Su Yueming said, dissatisfied.
"Optimus, what should we do?" Hound asked.
"Don't you understand? Your boss still can't let go of humans. He really is kind, something that is not seen a lot these days, even among humans," William said with emotion.
Optimus spoke. "Recapture the seed. It doesn't belong here. After finishing this last job, we will leave."
"Recapturing the seed? Don't you want to leave now?" The little robot asked, stunned.
"Get on the spacecraft and guide us to the location they brought the seed to. We are going to China," Optimus said as he walked towards the spacecraft.
---
In the depths of the universe, in the giant spaceship, Lockdown was thundering with rage. "Damn them! They even stole a part of my spaceship. You actually let something like this happen! Turn off the dark matter engine, reverse the speed of light, and return to Earth!"
---
In the high sky, the subspace ship flew fast. "In these cages are ancient legendary warriors," Crosshairs said to William.
William watched the robot dinosaurs hanging upside down in the cage. "I will conquer them and make them obey me as their ruler."
Looking at the way William was talking, Crosshairs' body trembled. He saw the shadow of a great and powerful being. "They are all very powerful."
"That's because they haven't seen me yet," William said, looking at his palms.
"William, what is your purpose after all?"
"Destruction, evil, greed, possession. There are no friends or enemies in my eyes because they will all either surrender or die. Tell me, Crosshairs, what will you choose?" William said lightly.
"You are not exactly the same as I thought."
"Really? Well, there is not much time left for you to choose," William said as he walked towards the outside.
Looking at William's back, Crosshairs was relieved. William had just given him a strong sense of pressure. He was just a human—why did he make a Transformer feel fear?
William walked outside, and Su Yueming approached him. "Tell me, what exactly are you trying to do here by helping?"
"For the peace of mankind."
"Don't lie to me. I know you have a secret you can't tell anyone, and it's definitely not a good thing."
"You are really smart. In fact, I am a very bad person," William said with a smile.
Su Yueming looked into William's eyes. She could see it—this was the truth.
"Where is Tessa?"
"She fell asleep. The blow she experienced was too great," Su Yueming shook her head. "Other girls are still relying on their parents at her age."
"She can rely on you as her sister in the future," William said, smiling.
"Do you really think I can't see what you are trying to do here? I'm not an idiot," Su Yueming said angrily.
William suddenly got angry and said, "Don't take that tone with me. Do you really think I won't do anything to you?" William walked towards Su Yueming.
Su Yueming stepped back. "What do you want?"
William stepped forward with a commanding intensity, his gaze locked onto Su Yueming's. Before she could utter a word, he pulled her firmly into his arms, the suddenness of his action leaving her breathless. His lips descended upon hers with a fervent determination, not harsh, but deliberate—like a storm crashing against the shore, overwhelming yet controlled.
Su Yueming's eyes widened in surprise, her hands instinctively pushing against his chest. Memories of their last encounter flashed through her mind, the way he'd claimed her lips before, unyielding and unapologetic. And now, here he was again, seizing the moment with that same unrelenting fire.
She resisted, her palms pressing harder against him, but the warmth radiating from his embrace and the sheer force of his presence left her defenses faltering. His kiss wasn't cruel, nor was it invasive; it was firm, drawing her into a world where resistance felt futile.
William's eyes blazed with an emotion that was both fierce and vulnerable, as though her defiance only spurred him further. There was no mistaking the intensity behind his actions—this wasn't about dominance but about claiming something he couldn't deny.
Slowly, Su Yueming's resistance began to ebb away, her struggles giving way to a strange, unfamiliar sensation. Confusion filled her wide, dark eyes as she stared at him, caught between the instinct to fight and the undeniable pull of his passion.
The kiss lingered, heavy with emotions. Su Yueming's resistance weakened, and her eyes filled with confusion.
"Cough."
Su Yueming snapped out of it and pushed William away. She turned to the sound of the cough and was stunned. "Tessa?! Weren't you sleeping? Don't misunderstand! I have nothing to do with this guy—nothing at all!" Su Yueming said quickly, not wanting to hurt Tessa further.
"I saw it. You don't need to explain anything. I don't want to lose either of you, so…" Tessa walked over to William and Su Yueming.
William pulled Su Yueming and Tessa into his arms together and said, "So you've decided to be my woman, ha!"
