Chapter 4: Chapter 4 Exposure
Ringing Bell Bell--
"Good evening, who are you looking for?" The maid picked up the phone, listened for a moment, covered the microphone, and reminded the owner who was making pottery, "Dr. Gaia, this is Mr. Sig's phone number. There's an emergency..."
"It's so late," Gaia raised her head and looked surprised. She walked to the phone a few steps and held the phone with her plaster-stained hand. "What's wrong? Sig."
There was silence on the other side of the receiver for a moment, and Sig's voice sounded, mixed with the background sound of rustling.
"It seems that she is going to get sick again," Sigton paused and said the name, "Amy."
Gaia sighed, leaned on the low sofa next to the phone, and waved to the maid beside her.
After the maid left, Gaia said, "What are the symptoms this time?"
"In terms of behavior, she suddenly... Forget it, it doesn't matter. She wants to save money again. Just like when she was a child, I gave her a check. Sig said.
After listening, Gaia comforted, "Seasonal affective disorder, more common in autumn and winter, relief in spring and summer, there is no need to worry too much, and I just asked you for a check. How do you know that sister Amy must save money?"
Sige suddenly raised his volume: "Do you mean to wait for her to get sick completely before intervening? Your doctors can only treat diseases, not prevent them in advance?!"
Gaia was scolded by Sig. It's hard to get angry. Who let him get a high salary of 10,000 pounds a year?
To get money, you have to serve your employer well.
"Calm down, Sig, but if you speak louder, I'll help you get the medicine for bipolar disorder. I think Amy's sister is fine, so you have a big problem.
Gaia pulled her tie and suddenly found that the clay in her hand was stained with her body. Just as she was about to curse, she heard Sige on the opposite side yell at him again.
"Gaia, give you a week. Amy's symptoms must be relieved, otherwise it's better to give you the money for the treatment than directly to Amy."
Gaia was about to explain that Sig had hung up the phone.
Amy was thirteen years old when she was found to have depression, which was puberty.
The expenditure is getting bigger day by day. She asked Sig's father for the money, and then asked Sig for it again, and so on, for all kinds of reasons.
At first, Sig and his father, Mr. Forth, discussed the abnormality of Amy's behavior. They speculated that Amy probably got some bad in the aristocratic school and spent a lot of money.
However, their family is not short of this money. Mr. Firth has always spoiled Amy and did not intend to deduct Amy's pocket money, so that Siger was not allowed to mention it. It was not until the new maid cleaned the room that Amy's secret was revealed.
There is a large pile of banknotes hidden under Amy's bed.
There is also a hand-painted map with banknotes, and a star is marked in the corner of the map.
Amy solemnly explained her motive for hiding money.
"My home is in the east," she pointed to the position of the stars on the simple map and said, "I want to go home."
After seeing several doctors, Amy was diagnosed with depression and delusions, because there was no country she said in the world.
But Amy insisted that the medicine prescribed by the doctor had no effect.
Finally, Sig's father gave her ten times more money and forced Amy to spend that money.
Amy spent a week in a row.
A week later, the pain of spending money probably exceeded the pain of saving money. Amy quit the habit of saving money.
Everyone thinks that Amy has recovered. Only Sig knows that Amy's illness has not been cured, because every time Amy gets angry, she will talk nonsense: "If it were ¥@#%# in my country, it would definitely..."
Amy's temper also became strange.
Once, Sig went to hold a parent-teacher meeting for Amy for his father. What he heard was either "Your Amy beat the male classmate because of a female classmate" or "Your Amy didn't allow the female classmate to get married and scolded the female classmate's parents".
"Amy, why are you meddling too much?"
This is the first reaction of Sige after knowing. In his opinion, Amy's illness has not recovered yet. Shouldn't she take care of herself first?
After asking, Sig saw Amy crying in front of him for the first time.
She cried until her eyes were red. While crying, she picked up Sig's hand and rowed.
"Sig, what would you do if someone treated me like this?" Amy asked him with a twitch.
"I will shoot immediately." Sig didn't even think about it.
"Someone forced me to marry a man I don't know?" Amy asked again.
"This kind of thing can't happen." Sig's guarantee.
Since then, Amy's parent-teacher meeting has been secretly invited to Sig every time.
From then on, although they were still noisy, their relationship began to get closer.
Putting down the phone, Sig paced in the dark night and unconsciously walked to the door of Amy's room.
It sounded very quiet inside the door. Amy may be sleeping or counting her money secretly.
A moment of uneasyness made Sig raise his hand, close to the wooden door, and tapped a few times.
"Amy?" He shouted.
No one responded.
Sig stared at the closed door, raised the corners of his lips, and laughed at himself.
If he was in his room, Amy would have broken in without even saying hello, and then blamed him for "how dare, why don't you open the door for the princess quickly".
Sig turned around and left.
The calm footsteps are moving away.
Separated by a door, Amy's ear was pressed against the wooden door, listening quietly.
It was not until the door was completely silent that she breathed a sigh of relief and quietly locked the door.
Then, Amy turned to the wardrobe, opened it, and signaled the people inside to come out.
A short man rolled out of the closet, panting heavily.
A neat purple short hair, a black cylindrical cloak, and a silver three-vortex spiral badge on her chest.
"Lun, you're crazy. I don't know if there are witch hunters in my family?" Amy recalled what happened in the afternoon and said, "I have touched his gun with my own hands. It's a real gun, and he can send me down at once."
Len, with short purple hair in front of her, is Amy's classmate, a gifted girl who awakens the witch's ability at the age of 16.
After sitting on the ground and panting enough, he laughed and said, "No, Amy, it should be to send me, a witch. What does it have to do with you?"
Amy crossed her waist and smiled proudly at her: "Because this afternoon, I am also a witch!" Lun: "..."
They sat on the floor together, and Amy took up the witch badge on Len's chest and looked at it.
"What ability did you awaken? Isn't it powerful?" Lun asked her.
"Super awesome." Amy said.
Her time was still, so powerful that no one noticed it, and so powerful that it could not be directly used to pretend.
"Oh, then you have to hide it," Len explained. "It's easy to be seen through if you use witchcraft in front of witch hunters."
Amy suddenly became nervous.
She just used witchcraft in the afternoon.
To Sig.
But Sig didn't notice it.
If it is exposed, it will be exciting.
Amy pressed her confused thoughts and asked, "Lun, why did you suddenly come to see me?"
"I'm going to Manchester to study at the Witch College. I'm here to say goodbye to you." Lun said.
Manchester.
The two stores under Amy's name are also there.
"I'm also going to Manchester. Leave me an address and I'll go find you." Amy said.
She wants to see the lives of other witches, which is also related to herself.
"The address of the college is confidential. You need to get the dean's letter of introduction first, and I'll tell you when I finish it." Lun patted his chest, "Don't worry, wrap it in me."
Amy and Ren quickly finalized the time and place to meet in Manchester. Just as Amy planned to stay with Ren for one night, a burst of fire swayed outside the manor.
The lace curtains in the room glowed dimly red, as if they were lit.
She and Lun looked at each other in horror.
There is only this manor in a radius of more than ten miles. Amy is very sure that the people outside are coming to her.
