Wrapped by the surging crowd, Ethan and Tonks moved forward with difficulty.
The two soon caught the attention of several thieves, and a restless hand reached out to the pocket of Ethan's clothes amid the surging crowd.
Soon, the thief found that his hand had been caught.
Ethan's hand gripped the thief's wrist tightly like iron tongs.
"Let go of me! Don't make trouble for yourself!"
The thief said with a fierce expression, revealing the dagger in his arms.
This tactic has been used many times since he was caught, and most people will let him go to prevent unnecessary trouble.
Too bad he met Ethan.
Before waiting for the thief's next threat, he felt a pain in the wrist of the hand holding the dagger, which had returned to Ethan's hand.
The thief's pupils shrank, and he knew he had met a master.
"I'm sorry."
The thief decided to admit his counsel, and his long-term street life gave him a flexible mind.
He knew he might be unable to fight against this person, so he decided to surrender first.
But it was too late; Ethan quickly drew a rune with his left hand without anyone noticing, and then the thief's eyes flashed a quick white light.
Then, his eyes became confused.
"Go and turn yourself in," Ethan said softly, leaning on the thief's ear.
The thief nodded blankly, then, following Ethan's instructions, he turned his head and walked towards the policeman on duty standing aside.
"Mr. Police, I'm going to surrender! I stole a lot of things!"
After speaking, he opened his clothes full of pocket watches, wallets, and other items.
The stunned police officer on duty had no choice but to handcuff the eccentric surrendered thief and then used the walkie-talkie to call a colleague.
The thief suddenly woke up from his dream and was shocked to find that the police handcuffed him at some point.
"Hey! Sir! Let me go! You are illegally detaining me!" the thief shouted to the police.
The policeman stared at the thief for a long time with extremely confused eyes and then suddenly showed an expression of sudden realization.
"I see! You have a mental illness!" said the policeman.
"Get down on the ground first! I'll call someone to help you!"
"What kind of mental illness? What are you talking about?" Mr. Thief said suspiciously.
But what happened later has nothing to do with Ethan; he and Tonks have long since gone.
Tonks didn't notice Ethan's little gestures at all. She pinched a long note in her hand, which was densely written with the precautions for taking a Muggle plane.
This is why Tonks has inquired about wizards who have more contact with the Muggle society in the past few days and finally summed up a set of strategies for dealing with the airport environment.
"Airport security check - airport security check -" Tonks muttered in a low voice.
Then Tonks' face suddenly turned pale, and she said nervously to Ethan, "Ethan! Your suitcase is going to be under security inspection! What should we do!"
Tonks' voice aroused the vigilance of an old Muggle gentleman in front of her. He glanced at the two of them alertly and subconsciously thought that the two were terrorists.
"Don't worry -" Ethan whispered in Tonks' ear, "I'm fully prepared."
Soon, it was Ethan and Tonks' turn to line up for the security check, and Tonks also nervously wrapped his arms around Ethan.
Because the two were both well-dressed and white, the security guards didn't pay much attention to Ethan and Tonks.
Tonks first put his suitcase in front of the security guards.
Tonks had already put all the magic items in Ethan's bag, so she wasn't worried about any checks.
The security inspector also glanced at the box of personal belongings, waved his hand, and planned to let the two people go.
At this time, the old man who had been through the security check but had been standing beside him, holding his cane and staring at Ethan and Tonks, suddenly spoke up.
"Mr. Security Check, you should carefully check that gentleman's suitcase."
The old gentleman said seriously to the security check staff.
The security guard was stunned momentarily and looked at the Muggle older man, who nodded seriously to him.
The sloppy appearance of the security inspector gradually disappeared, and his expression became serious.
"Sir, I need to check your suitcase." The security guard said seriously.
Several security personnel standing in the distance also noticed the abnormality at this time, and they came over to surround Ethan and Tonks faintly.
"Okay, no problem," Ethan said easily, putting his suitcase on the security check.
Tonks' face was pale, and she stared nervously at Ethan's suitcase.
Several guards also discovered Tonks' abnormal state. They walked over slowly and stood behind Ethan, ready to respond to emergencies.
Under the spotlight, the security personnel finally opened Ethan's suitcase containing only some daily necessities.
Ethan had already used the Muggle Confusion Charm on the suitcase; no matter how Muggles checked it, nothing would be found.
The security inspector, seeing this situation, still did not relax. He took out the items in Ethan's suitcase individually but found nothing abnormal.
Then I carefully checked whether one side of the suitcase was sandwiched again, but still found nothing.
This time, the security guards began to feel embarrassed.
"I'm sorry, sir."
The security inspector said, "I'm sorry for the delay. The airport can send you some miles as compensation."
"No, I don't mind," Ethan said with a smile.
The security guards dispersed, seeing it as a misunderstanding, leaving only the embarrassed old gentleman standing aside.
"I'm sorry!"
When Ethan and Tonks passed the security check, the old man hurried over and apologized to them.
"I might have misheard something just now and caused you all such trouble!" the old gentleman said apologetically to the two of them.
"Don't apologize, sir. You heard it right, but my girlfriend always likes to make jokes," Ethan said to the old gentleman.
Tonks stuck his tongue out apologetically beside him.
"Okay, okay."
The old gentleman asked, "Where are you going?"
The old gentleman chatted casually.
"We're going to Poland," Ethan replied.
"I'm going, too! I've been living in Poland!" the old man said, surprised.
"My name is Stein! Are you traveling to Poland? Or honeymoon? I know a lot of interesting places that are not listed in travel guides!"
Stein said to Ethan and Tonks enthusiastically.
"Thank you; we're just here for a tour," Ethan replied to Stein. The old man's mention of the honeymoon made Tonks blush.
And Stan smiled when he saw Tonks' red face.
