Who Stole My Eggs?

Chapter 22 - II

Frightened, Lu Xiaopang who was always in high spirits, was impressed by Xie Zuo’s heroic gesture in saving him. He kept telling Shi Yuan how heroic Xie Zuo was when he wielded the wolf bone knife to kill the wolves—domineering, little Uncle Xie being his savior and a great hero in his heart.

Amid Lu Xiaopang’s chatter, they returned to the small courtyard at the foot of the mountain.

Shi Yuan was responsible for sending Lu Xiaopang home and recited a spell to him, preventing him from mentioning the sight of the Northern Wolf to others to avoid causing panic.

Huo Yao gently placed Xie Zuo down and headed to the backyard.

After a while, Xie Zuo vaguely heard a muffled sound and then smelled a familiar sulfuric scent. Curious, he explored the backyard and was surprised to find that Huo Yao had blasted a hole in the ground, bringing down the hot spring from the top of the mountain.

Using his magical power, Huo Yao constructed stones at the bottom and sides of the pit. Seeing Xie Zuo approaching, he lowered his eyes and said, “From now on, you can take a bath in the hot spring every day.”

Xie Zuo sneered twice, harboring thoughts about the hypocrisy of the deity. Despite his disdain, he took off his tattered clothes and immersed himself in the hot water.

Ah… so comfortable! He always enjoyed soaking in the hot pool.

Huo Yao sat next to him, “Let me wash your hair.”

Xie Zuo immediately moved further away, saying, “Don’t need to.”

Huo Yao’s outstretched hand paused and then slowly dropped down.

Xie Zuo relaxed in the comfortable hot water, paying little attention to Huo Yao. Without saying a word, Huo Yao went to the house, fetched a new set of clothes, and sat silently by the pool.

.

An hour passed, and Xie Zuo was about to leave the bath, but Huo Yao remained motionless, annoyingly stiff.

“Get out of the way, you’re in the way.” Xie Zuo dressed and kicked the water rudely, splashing most of Huo Yao’s body.

Huo Yao sighed and stepped aside.

As Xie Zuo walked away, he felt a tightening in his abdomen. His vision darkened, and he fell, caught in time by Huo Yao.

Seeing stars, Xie Zuo realized he was hungry again.

It was normal for Xie Zuo to be hungry. Puppetry was physically demanding, and reshaping his body had exhausted his strength.

Huo Yao opened the hem of his clothes, intending to feed him blood. However, Xie Zuo resolutely refused, saying, “I don’t want to drink, you don’t need to!”

“No,” had been Xie Zuo’s most spoken word to Huo Yao since the top of the mountain.

Struggling to get up from Huo Yao’s arms, Xie Zuo blew a loud whistle, summoning Wolf King Alya.

A blue light flashed, and Alya appeared. “Your Majesty.”

Xie Zuo swayed towards Alya, saying, “Let me drink your blood.”

Alya obediently lowered her head, “Yes.” She laid prone on the ground, her body glowing with a dazzling silver-blue light. After the halo disappeared, the giant wolf transformed into an adult woman with a graceful figure and cold features.

This was Alya’s body. She had long silver-white hair, ice-blue eyes, a pure and beautiful temperament like a snow lotus.

It was the first time Xie Zuo observed a woman of his own race at such a close distance. He was stunned. “So beautiful.”

A blush appeared on Alya’s face. “Thank you, Your Majesty.” She took two steps forward to support Xie Zuo and asked in a low voice, “Where do you want to be?”

Xie Zuo was almost hungry and confused, “Where? It’s right here; I’m starving to death.”

Alya didn’t expect the demon king would be so eager at a young age and wouldn’t avoid it. She secretly said he was worthy of being the son of that fierce woman Xie Xiao. He was better than her first master. However, if they could give birth to the flesh and blood of a new demon king through this time, their family would be able to return to the demon world more openly in the future.

Alya closed her eyes and offered her fragrant lips to Xie Zuo.

Xie Zuo frowned, ‘where is the blood?’

.

Huo Yao saw the two of them pulling and touching in front of him; his face turned livid with anger, and his whole body was “cracking” with frightening thunder and lightning sparks. When demons were in harmony, they often donate blood to each other in interesting places to increase pleasure. Xie Zuo, an idiot, just invited Alya to ask for blood. Alya naturally thought that he was asking for pleasure!

“Boom -” with a sound, thunder resounded above the head, like a dragon roaring and a tiger roaring, and the powerful pressure rushed directly into the people present.

Alya was shocked by the thunder and lightning and fell to her knees as soon as her legs became weak.

Xie Zuo was already hungry, but he was struck by thunder again. He felt stars flying in front of his eyes, and his mind was as messy as a pot of boiling water.

In the chaos, a pair of strong arms hugged him tightly, and bloody lips bit his, giving him a mouthful of mellow blood.

It was the blood that Xie Zuo was familiar with and longed for! In an instant, he forgot everything and just wanted to ask for more. He stuck out his tongue and chased it.

Alya was stunned when she saw Xie Zuo and Huo Yao kissing in front of her. This… the Demon King and the Great Deity of Thunder…

Alya immediately retreated knowingly. If she didn’t leave, she was afraid that she would be smashed to pieces by the angry Deity of Thunder.
