Tanukirino looks at his group and says.

And now, they only take the soul back and prepare a ritual to resurrect the infamous Shuten-douji.

"Boss, are you sure we are safe here? We saw the barrier around the mountain earlier. Do you think it is a barrier that can locate us?"

"This barrier has existed for thousands of years, and no one has found it. There is no way they can find this place."

Tanukirino says with confidence.

Tamamo-no-Mae is among them. It takes the power of Gods and the most powerful Magic User in Japan at the time, Abe-no-Seimei, to seal her. They need to separate her into Nine so they can seal her.

To this day, no one knows the location of all the souls. Only one that manages to appear in public, and there is a powerful and nasty curse to guard it.

While Shuten-douji is not as powerful as Tamamo, he is still powerful enough to cheat death and cut a portion of his soul without dying or having the God of Death notice him separating his soul.

Now, they only need to create the ritual to resurrect their lord.

Tanukirino frowns at those words. As much as he wants to trust the vault, his men are correct about that. Not only that but with them snooping around, he knows that they will get caught sooner or later because he and his group need to leave this place.

His men look at him before one of them says,

"You need to leave without us, boss. We will hold them back. Avenge us when you manage to resurrect our lord."

Tanukirino nods and says.

"I will."

"Let's do this."

They use the secret path and leave in the hidden exit.

"Finally getting out, huh?"

He looks to the side and sees a group of people already waiting for him. He can see Yasaka and her group already waiting for him.

"Come quietly, or we can use violence."

Tanukirino snarls and roars.

"Attack them! Rip their heads! Eat their heart and take their skull as the prize!"
