What if Naruto was Trained by Sosuke Aizen

Chapter 9: Chapter 9

In the darkness, a distant fire flickered. Naruto woke up suddenly, only to find himself standing in a magnificent palace.

An exquisite throne stood alone at the far end of the hall, radiating an aura of loneliness and desolation.

Where am I? Naruto wondered, confused.

In the past, falling asleep had always taken him to the sealed space where Aizen resided. But this time, he found himself in an entirely unfamiliar place.

Why do I keep ending up in these strange situations? Naruto couldn't help but complain internally.

"You've finally arrived. I've been waiting for you," a soft, ethereal voice echoed through the space. A figure cloaked in shadows appeared beside the throne.

The figure wore a black robe with a hood pulled low, obscuring their face. They stood upright, exuding an air of respect and reverence.

Is this a genjutsu? Naruto's heart raced.

Perhaps the Third Hokage, concerned about his training, had sent someone to test him with an illusion.

I can't show any weakness.

Cautiously, Naruto spoke first.

"Hello. Where is this place?"

"This is your... kingdom," the figure replied. As the words left their lips, the lifeless palace suddenly came alive. The space around them shimmered, and a starry sky unfolded above, painting the hall with a breathtaking celestial scene.

Before Naruto could react, the shadowy figure appeared beside him in an instant, their movements elegant and precise.

Naruto stepped back warily, his eyes fixed on the figure's face. Yet, even at close range, their features remained hidden in shadow.

"Who are you?" Naruto asked, feeling an inexplicable sense of familiarity with the figure.

This didn't feel like an illusion or a test from the Third Hokage. For some reason, Naruto trusted the figure.

The shadowy figure bowed respectfully.

"I am the deepest power within your heart, the strength you yearn for. I am your most loyal and reliable ally."

"Power? Are you as powerful as Mr. Aizen?" Naruto asked.

The figure trembled slightly, their tone tinged with disappointment.

"Aizen? So, to you, his power is what you consider strong."

"It seems the time has not yet come," the figure murmured, their voice echoing eerily through the space.

"Remember, I am the only one you can trust. I will be the sharpest blade in your hand, cutting down all obstacles in your path."

"You may call me..."

The figure's voice grew faint, and Naruto's vision blurred. The figure receded into the distance, their words becoming indistinct.

As Naruto's consciousness faded into darkness, one phrase rang clearly in his ears:

"Flowers in the Mirror, Moon in the Water."

When Naruto woke up, he was back in his room. The flickering candlelight cast shadows on his uncertain expression.

"What... just happened?"

"Flowers in the Mirror?"

He held his head, confused, as the transformed Zanpakutō slipped from his side and clattered to the floor.

The blade was now a dark green, smooth and sharp. This was no longer the original Asauchi.

Naruto stared at the transformed Zanpakutō in astonishment. A strange, unfamiliar sensation welled up within him.

A mysterious phrase echoed in his mind: "Shatter, Kyōka Suigetsu."

The next morning, Naruto woke up feeling refreshed. He reached for the Zanpakutō beside his pillow, the cold hilt grounding him.

"Flowers in the Mirror, Moon in the Water..." he murmured, rubbing his temples.

After awakening his Zanpakutō the previous night, he had felt utterly drained and had fallen into a deep sleep. This time, he hadn't entered the sealed space.

"Mr. Aizen, last night my consciousness entered an unknown space. I was told the name of my Zanpakutō," Naruto said, holding up the dark green blade.

"You've mastered Shikai?" Aizen's voice was laced with skepticism.

Shikai, the first stage of a Zanpakutō's release, grants the wielder unique abilities. Most Shinigami take at least a decade to achieve this. The second stage, Bankai, is beyond the reach of most.

"I think so," Naruto said uncertainly. "It's called Kyōka Suigetsu."

"Kyōka Suigetsu?!" Aizen's voice faltered, and he fell silent, ignoring Naruto's further calls.

In the sealed space, Aizen covered his face with his hand, a strange smile spreading across his lips.

"So, as I suspected, Naruto can wield my power. I didn't even notice. His Reiatsu remains unchanged, and his body shows no abnormalities. Is this a replica?"

A deep, unsettling laugh echoed through the sealed space.

"Things just got interesting."

After a quick wash, Naruto prepared a hearty breakfast—two fried eggs and a slice of dry bread. Training demanded proper nutrition.

Once he finished eating, Naruto headed to Konoha's weapon shop. He needed a scabbard for his Zanpakutō and some weights for training.

"Hello, uncle. I need a dark green scabbard and some weights," Naruto said politely, handing over a sketch.

The weapon shop was bustling, with apprentices hammering away at their forges. The blacksmith, a burly man with a bare, sweat-drenched torso, wiped his brow and examined the sketch.

"Here's the weapon purchase permit from the Third Hokage," Naruto added, producing the necessary documentation.

Civilians in Konoha couldn't buy weapons without a permit.

The blacksmith studied the sketch, his brow furrowing slightly.

Konoha ninjas typically used shurikens, kunai, and explosive tags. Swords were rare, and weights even more so.

"Why would a kid like him need these?" the blacksmith wondered but nodded without question. It wasn't his place to pry.

"Three days. Pay the deposit first."

Naruto handed over the money and left the shop, heading for the training ground.

The blacksmith stared at the sketch, muttering to himself, "A sword this long? And 20kg weights? Can a kid even handle that?"

He shook his head, chuckling. "What am I thinking? He's the Nine-Tails' vessel. Of course, he's not ordinary."

At the training ground, Naruto began his jog. The adrenaline rush of pushing his limits was addictive.

By midday, exhausted and drenched in sweat, Naruto collapsed under a tree, panting heavily.

Suddenly, the bushes nearby rustled.

"Who's there?" Naruto called out.

A young man with thick eyebrows stepped into view.
