Chapter 8: And what is your name?
Her eyes were round, looking at me with a confused expression, while my hand was still gripping her so tightly, there was a feeling of discomfort stored in her heart.
"Excuse me?"
Her voice flowed softly, the wind blew her beautiful white hair again, I slowly tried to control my emotions, wiped away my tears and looked back at her with strong feelings, even though I was reluctant, I had to let go of her hand.
"Excuse my rudeness, I just thought maybe we've met before."
I said while looking down slightly, rubbing the back of my head awkwardly, while her beautiful smile started to grow, followed by a soft, almost inaudible chuckle.
"It's okay, I was just a little surprised earlier, no need to apologize."
I looked straight ahead, seeing her still giving me her beautiful, enchanting smile, bringing a warm glow to my face, My ears were hot and my cheeks were red.
"W-have... We met before?"
My voice trembled slightly with the nervousness that filled my chest, she still smiled, then slowly he shook his head.
"This is my first time seeing you."
I smiled and rubbed the back of my head nervously hearing that, my heart felt like it was tickled with a stupid joke, and even more than the stupidity, my cheeks were still flushed red, looking down not daring to look at her face.
"If there are no more questions, I will take my leave, see you later."
With a final greeting he started to turn around and walk away again, my heart was beating fast, my hands started to try to reach her again, I felt like... If I end this chance, I feel like I will never see her again.
"Wait!"
"Is there anything else you want to ask?"
The quiet corridor was deserted, leaving only me, the figure, and Jerry who was still waiting. My hands clenched, my eyes stared at him sharply, I slowly took a deep breath, then with courage I expressed it.
"I... want to know your name."
This time, a soft and beautiful smile returned to her lips, a blush slid across my face, her eyes stared deeply at me, like a bright diamond that has never been mined, nervousness began to fill every vein in my blood.
"My name is Lunaria."
The wind blew, her thin smile widened, her fine white hair blew like beautiful silk, her eyes conveyed an incomparable warmth, my chest felt warm, while a thin smile also spread across my face, answering her sincerity.

"I still don't understand, why haven't they come yet?"
My mouth grumbled in annoyance, while my hand reached for the nearest glass to gulp down the orange juice provided there.
Today, we planned to go out together, look for some clues, and maybe even have some fun, I was ready with a regular black t-shirt, with trousers, not so conspicuous for people to see.
In front of me, there was Jerry who was drinking orange juice with an indifferent face, wearing a white suit wrapped in a gray jacket, I think it's enough to make women's eyes amazed at him.
"Cold as usual, huh?"
I sneered at him, he only glanced at me for a moment, then returned an indifferent look, while my face showed a blank expression at him. He put down his glass of orange juice then folded his arms and looked at me with an unusually flat face.
"I think that's normal, right? Look at the clock carefully, it's nine in the morning, who would want to wake up at that time on a holiday?"
He answered with a shrug, a hint of sneer and arrogance hidden there, I narrowed my eyes, staring at him in confusion.
"You've been acting weird these past few days, you know?"
"Do you think so? Unfortunately I don't."
His hand returned to take the orange juice on the table, drinking it while averting his gaze from me, making me even more confused and really not knowing what was on his mind.
I tried to push my thoughts away, diverted my gaze for a moment to look at the vehicles passing by, took a glass of orange juice and drank it down.
"Just tell me honestly Kama, you like that girl named Lunaria, right???"
I was shocked by his question, I threw all the juice I was about to drink straight into his face.
His face was flat with smudges and orange juice stains decorating his face, his lips were drawn into a horizontal line giving an expression of tiredness, a I took a handkerchief and cleaned his face.
"I can do it myself, you just need to answer my question."
He took his handkerchief from my hand, then started rubbing his face, his eyes occasionally glancing at me who was thinking hard to answer his question.
"I'm not sure if I have feelings like that, for me she's just a friend"
Jerry seemed to be pulled by a magnet, his body leaning forward, with an unreadable serious expression.
"Your friend said? Hey? Three days ago, you and she just met, but you and she already seem really close, right? You are like old friends, and more than that. I feel like you treat her like someone special, in my opinion."
"You're too sensitive, man, have you forgotten? I also often talk to Queen, so you can't nod differently than when I talk to Lunaria."
"No difference? Ohh that's ridiculous, I saw it myself, the way you talk to her, the way you look at her, and the way you treat her, it all shows a clear difference."
Silence enveloped us, I stared straight at him, while he just calmly took his still cold orange juice and took another sip.
"I don't blame you for that, but I think it's too weird for you Kama, very very weird."
I was lost in thought, looking straight down, my hands clenched, my mind spinning, with a sigh I dared to say it.
"I respect your opinion Jerry, but sorry... I can't just end my friendship with Lunaria like that."
My eyes stared at him, with a glint of confidence and unwavering determination, seeing that Jerry chuckled giving a ticklish smile.
"I never asked you to stay away from him, idiot."

"Sorry I'm late!!!!"
One last member appeared, running quickly and hurriedly, his clothes dirty with various stains, as if he had fallen many times on the road, Ray with his usual innocent face just gave a stupid smile, not feeling ashamed to come with his stupid appearance.
"Yeah, I guess that's normal.
I scanned the faces of my friends one by one, then nodded to each other, as if we had spoken and agreed with each other from the heart.
Then with sure steps, we started walking, trying to find some clues, which might lead us to the case of the previous principal.
