Warhammer: Lord of the Endless Monster Horde

Chapter 82: Warhammer: Lord of the Endless Monster Horde [82]

"If I can get you a batch of more advanced biological cultivation equipment, can the progress be accelerated?" Rhodes asked.

They were now near Commorragh, the main city of the Dark Eldars. This place was home to a group of genetic modification masters, whose biological modification technology was far superior to traditional methods.

The Dark Eldar of Commorragh was particularly skilled in cloning and biological modifications—over 80% of the city's population were bio-cloned beings created by these experts. True naturally born Dark Eldar were rare and constituted the real ruling class of the city.

"Lord Rhodes, I need to see it in person! If the equipment is advanced enough, as long as I can successfully cultivate enhanced versions of artificial organs and Zetton bio-muscles, I can proceed with the modification surgery immediately. It would only take a few days to complete all the modifications," Balt responded.

"I'll handle the acquisition of the bio-modification equipment. Once everything is set, I'll take you there to inspect it personally and pick out the necessary tools," Rhodes said.

Rhodes already had a detailed plan in mind—this time, he wanted to try something different.

"I understand, Lord Rhodes. Is there anything else you need?" Balt asked, nodding.

"There is one more thing—I brought you two new items. This is called a Monster Capsule, which can store a kaiju, heal its injuries, command it, replenish its energy, and even enhance its combat power.

This device is the Monster Gene Extractor, which allows you to extract kaiju genes and use them to enhance ordinary lifeforms. However, it has some drawbacks—the host may not be able to withstand the kaiju genes and could mutate uncontrollably," Rhodes said, placing a Monster Capsule and the Monster Gene Extractor in front of Balt.

Aside from discussing enhancements for the space marines, one of Rhodes' main objectives this time was to have Balt study the Monster Capsule. He was also curious about the Monster Gene Extractor and wanted Balt to examine it.

Balt took the items and briefly inspected them. After only a few minutes of examining the Monster Gene Extractor, he frowned and set it aside. However, the Monster Capsule piqued his interest—he continuously examined it and even placed it in specialized analytical devices.

"Lord Rhodes, this Monster Gene Extractor is a very crude invention. It simply extracts kaiju genes, mixes them with a stabilizing agent, and fuses them with ordinary lifeforms for enhancement.

The failure rate is quite high. Instead of producing these low-quality foot soldiers, it would be more effective to create more Zettons—or even clone some Super Beasts. These low-tier enhanced beings are not even close to the level of the space marines," Balt remarked.

He couldn't understand why Rhodes was interested in such low-quality foot soldiers—just one Zetton could easily defeat thousands of these weakly enhanced creatures. Zettons had teleportation abilities, and protective barriers, and could launch one-trillion-degree fireballs, making them far superior to these modified kaiju.

As for Superbeast, there were many varieties with immense combat power that these weak kaiju-enhanced soldiers couldn't compare to. Instead of working on this, upgrading the space marines would be a much better alternative—they were at least qualified as proper foot soldiers.

"Alright, I understand," Rhodes said with a nod.

It seemed that Balt had no interest in the Monster Gene Extractor. As a true master of biological modification, he wouldn't bother with such basic kaiju gene enhancements.

However, just because Balt had no use for it didn't mean the Dark Eldar wouldn't be interested. This kind of kaiju modification technology could be highly sought after by the Bloodline race.

Rhodes suddenly had a new idea—if he wanted to sell kaiju, he needed the right buyers. But aside from kaiju, he also needed to offer other products.

"Can you mass-produce these Monster Gene Extractors? I mean, ones that can instantly apply extracted kaiju genes to a subject. You don't need to worry about the success rate," Rhodes asked.

"If that is what Lord Rhodes desires, I can start making them right away. You can have as many as you need—this is a simple technology with no real complexity," Balt sighed.

This was something he didn't even need a reference for—he could create it effortlessly. The technology was so basic that it required no special effort.

"Okay! Then make me some of these Monster Gene Extractors. What about this Monster Capsule? Can you replicate it?" Rhodes asked.

"Lord Rhodes, the technology behind this Monster Capsule is highly advanced—among the most cutting-edge in the universe.

If I'm not mistaken, this should be something created by the beings from the Land of Light. The version you have is a weakened version—there should be a more perfect version.

For example, the perfected version could allow kaiju to remain active indefinitely and further enhance their combat power. However, the scientists from the Land of Light always like to impose restrictions on their inventions, claiming it's to 'better protect the universe' and prevent their technology from falling into evil hands.

This capsule's level of technology is extremely high—just below the Monster Battle Nizer invented by the Reiblood Seijin," Balt explained.

"You're saying that this Monster Capsule is second only to the Monster Battle Nizer created by the Reiblood Seijin?" Rhodes asked in shock.

This device was actually that powerful—just one step below the Monster Battle Nizer used by Reionics warriors? Was this for real?

"Lord Rhodes, although I despise the beings from the Land of Light, I have to admit that they possess the most advanced scientific technology in the entire universe.

This capsule is a prime example of that technology. However, the version you have is a weakened one. If it were a perfected version, it would be just slightly below the Battle Nizer used by the Reionics warriors," Balt explained, holding the Monster Capsule.

It couldn't compare to the Ultimate Battle Nizer, but it could rival the standard Battle Nizers used by Reionics warriors.

"Then explain it to me," Rhodes said.

"Of course, Lord Rhodes. First, this device can store kaiju, heal their injuries, and replenish their energy. The perfected version has no time limit on how long a kaiju can stay active.

These abilities are similar to the Monster Battle Nizer used by Reionics warriors. This capsule can also capture kaiju, but unlike the Battle Nizer, it cannot forcibly enslave them.

The beings from the Land of Light prefer to befriend kaiju and use this device to capture them as battle partners.

The Battle Nizer can enhance a kaiju's combat power, and so can the perfected version of this capsule. However, while the Reionics warriors need their Reiblood DNA to boost a kaiju's strength, this capsule can be used by anyone.

Although the enhancement may not be as strong as that granted by Reiblood DNA, it is still very effective.

In short, this is a weakened version of the Reionyx Warriors' Monster Battle Nizer. If we use these Monster Capsules, controlling Zettons will become easier, and we can even enhance their combat power. The same applies to Superbeast," Balt explained.

This device was incredibly valuable—it was, without a doubt, the most important thing his master had brought.

"Can you replicate the Monster Capsule? If we mass-produce it, our newly created Zettons and Superbeast could all use this technology," Rhodes asked.

"Lord Rhodes, this is not something that can be done in a short time. If I want to fully replicate it, I will need more time," Balt admitted.

The beings from the Land of Light had top-tier technology, and cracking their encryption was not easy. If an ordinary alien obtained a Monster Capsule, it would be password-protected and useless unless unlocked. However, the one Rhodes had was fully unlocked, giving the Baltan Seijin access to its advanced technology.

"I understand. I'll leave these with you—study the Monster Capsule carefully. We'll need it in the future," Rhodes said.

"Leave it to me, Lord Rhodes! Researching this will be my top priority—this device can greatly enhance the Zetton army's combat power," Balt said, nodding excitedly.

"Good! First, make me some Monster Gene Extractors—I need them," Rhodes ordered.

"Understood! This is simple technology. I can make them using the materials on this ship—please wait a moment," Balt said.

He quickly gathered mechanical components and assembled over 100 Monster Gene Extractors, handing them to Rhodes.

"They're ready, Lord Rhodes! Just extract kaiju genes and inject them into a target," Balt explained.

"Alright, keep working—I'll be going now," Rhodes said, waving his hand as he took the extractors and left.
