Chapter 16: Wings (Revised)

Ellis hesitated to spread his wings. Bone wings had always been described as “ugly” and “unattractive” by the males, and no female had the courage to open them in front of the males.

Males who love to have fun and indulge in sex are all experts in bed.

In the male’s opinion, the only use for wings is to have fun in bed.

Making a physically strong female cry and beg for mercy was too attractive.

Ellis was equally worried.

Don’t be fooled by his reckless behavior in front of Xi Tian; that’s because he knows this male doesn’t care about harmless gestures.

Behind his back, he warns himself every moment not to overstep master’s boundaries.

For example, he doesn’t dare to ask how many other people Master has hugged before him.

He doesn’t dare to ask if the arranged wedding date will really be held as scheduled.

And he doesn’t dare to ask if he will abandon him if he tastes enough of his body before the wedding.

Long ago, Ellis set a goal to rise through the ranks in the army, to climb high enough to take control of his marriage. But he also remembered the helpless tone of the decision with strings attached: if he met the right person or if circumstances forced him to, then he would marry.

Before the situation became urgent, he had whimsically made his decision according to his own desires.

No wonder people sighed: When a female meets a male, even the most rational brain’s intelligence quotient drops to zero.

In the warm embrace from behind, a continuous flow of warmth was felt.

The male patiently waited for his response. So patiently, as if with just a word of “no,” the male would withdraw all advances.

But what right did he have to refuse a request from a male?

How could he dare risk displeasing the male?

The character of the female carried the profound moral imprint of this era: obedience to the male.

Ellis’s fingers exposed to the air were ice-cold.

In the end, he complied with Xi Tian’s wishes.

Xi Tian waited patiently; he couldn’t see Ellis’s expression, assuming Ellis was hesitating due to shyness, not realizing anything was amiss.

He was certain that Ellis would ultimately listen to him.

They were so happy and in sync together.

There was no reason not to explore new realms together.

The female slowly unbuttoned and removed his pajamas.

His honey-colored naked body was exposed to the air, displaying blue insect patterns centered on the spine, symmetrically distributed like seaweed in the ocean, highlighted by the honey-colored skin, making them extremely noticeable.

With the movement of his arms, symmetrical vertical lines on the shoulder blades were revealed, the exact place where the wings lay dormant.

In the zerg society, there are two genders and three types: males and females, with the types being male, female, and sub-female.

Among these, only females have wings on their backs and are covered with insect patterns. Males have hidden patterns on their chests that appear when they are emotionally agitated. Sub-females have neither wings nor patterns.

During their previous passionate moments, Xi Tian had briefly glanced at Ellis’s zerg patterns, but this was the first time he looked so closely.

[Harmony]

A hand held another hand, warmth enveloping the coldness, landing light kisses on the vertical lines of the shoulder blades.

The tacit understanding built over many days made Ellis understand that the male was saying, “Let’s begin.”

Ellis buried his head into the fluffy pillow, tightly closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and bit his lip.

Two wings emerged from the seam of the patterns, slowly spreading like an opening umbrella or a rising sail.

Seeing it with his own eyes, the two enormous wings emerged from the narrow lines of the patterns.

The male knelt to one side, cradling one wing in his arms.

The female’s wings had no feathers, resembling the bat wings of mammals, flesh-colored with a layer of extremely short fuzz and short bone spurs on the outer joints.

When his fingers lightly pinched the wing membrane, Ellis clenched his fist.

The wings were not as rigid as Xi Tian had imagined; instead, they were flexible.

In ancient times, the wings were auxiliary combat tools used by females to fend off invaders. Today, their auxiliary combat function has greatly deteriorated, leaving only short-distance flight capabilities. Because there are fewer occasions in modern society where wings need to be displayed and due to a lack of sufficient exercise, they have become soft and sensitive.

Even more sensitive is the interior of the vertical patterns encasing the wings, closest to the central nervous system of the spine, where the slightest stimulation can be catastrophic.

He stroked along the lines of the wing membrane from top to bottom, from the bone spurs to the vertical patterns.

Nerves faithfully transmitted sensations, warmth rising inch by inch, then cooling inch by inch.

Ellis turned his head toward the bedside; there was a double-edged dagger in the drawer.

The dagger is the standard companion for males playing with females’ wings, and he, following the popular trend, had long prepared it.

This dagger would be inserted into his body, into the interior of the vertical patterns encasing the wings, that extremely sensitive and fragile place.

His fist remained tightly clenched, fingers slightly trembling, and his palms were drenched in cold sweat.

Was he really ready?

Ellis asked himself this.

No sane person would willingly inflict self-harm, especially by having their partner wield the knife, personally causing injury.

But few females could escape this fate; males so enjoyed seeing the pitiful appearance of a strong, stoic female being pushed to the brink of collapse, begging in anguish.

Every female had gone through this; Ellis told himself, though his body trembled lightly with fear.

Offering the dagger voluntarily would allow him to control the damage within a range he could rescue himself from, better than the male causing irreparable harm by using something else, not knowing the depth.

He could feel the male’s heat behind him, underneath him.

Ellis gently fluttered his wings a few times, and the male paused, a low voice questioning.

“Hmm?”

Ellis quickly propped himself up, but the male’s earlier actions had left him weak and trembling uncontrollably, unsteady, and he was about to fall back onto the bed.

From behind, the male wrapped an arm around his waist, “Get up slowly, no rush.”

Ellis gave a low “Hmm,” held his breath, opened the drawer, and took out the dagger.

The dagger was encased in a metal sheath, which the female held horizontally in his palm, respectfully presenting it in front of Xi Tian.

“Please, my master…”

No matter what, he couldn’t bring himself to say “enjoy.”

Xi Tian took the dagger with one hand, drew it from its sheath, revealing the gleaming, cold blade.

“Why are you giving this to me?” Xi Tian turned the dagger over in his hand, smiling. “Do you want me to use it?”

He thought the female was joking with him, as he had before.

Ellis lowered his body, said nothing, and turned his back to Xi Tian, adopting a submissive kneeling posture.

“Do you want me to use this dagger on you?”

Ellis’s shoulders flinched, and he replied, “As you wish, my master.”

Xi Tian’s smile faded. The female was serious!

But he knew this wasn’t Ellis’s true intention, as it didn’t align with his personality.

For some reason, there was a misunderstanding in their communication.

They needed to talk, to communicate.

But now was not the best time for a relaxed conversation.

He needed to understand why the female had given him the dagger.

The cold dagger pressed against the zerg patterns on Ellis’s back, and Xi Tian lowered his voice.

“You hope for me to do what, Ellis? To cut open your zerg pattern, or to slice through your flesh, or maybe,”

The white blade lightly touched below.

“to stab you here?”

The male’s tone was light and dangerous.

Ellis never expected that Xi Tian, upon receiving the dagger, would not go for his vertical lines but would instead target his intimate area.

This scenario, he had never anticipated.

If the male truly injured his body, he would be useless for a while! This was worse than damaging his wings!

He never thought things would go this way.

If he couldn’t satisfy the male before he tasted all of him, then what use would he have?

He might even be abandoned for being useless.

Ellis’s arched body finally collapsed, whispering a barely audible “no.”

With a clatter, the dagger was tossed to the ground.

Xi Tian hugged his waist, holding him close.

The wings that were spread out now hung limp and lifeless, the body in his arms cold and trembling with fear.

He was so obedient and gentle.

“What is the dagger for, tell me!”

Xi Tian’s actions were gentle, but his tone was firm and commanding.

Ellis lowered his head, not daring to look at him. “Used on the wings.”

Xi Tian: “Just to cut your wings?”

Ellis: “Inside the vertical lines, under the wings…”

Xi Tian: “Why use the dagger?”

Ellis: “The dagger can cut through. Everyone does it.”

Xi Tian: “Why must it be a knife?”

Ellis pressed tightly against his chest, his voice weak. “Inside, it’s the most sensitive.”

Just because the inside of the vertical lines was the most sensitive, they used sharp blades for pleasure, and “everyone does it”—this was far beyond Xi Tian’s understanding.

He always believed that the chosen female was different from the traditional obedient role, but Ellis was still deeply influenced by “every male does this” and was willing to hurt his body to please him.

Sensitive by nature, Xi Tian deliberately avoided social interactions. Although he was alone for many years, he didn’t think he was different from others. He also knew that the Zerg society had always been male-dominated, but he didn’t care much.

In his view, males enjoyed more rights, and females had more obligations. He was a beneficiary of this system, after all.

But behind these “rights,” males took “exploiting females’ health” for granted.

This absurdity couldn’t be summed up by “a bit more obligation.”

Xi Tian kissed the female’s fingers, forcing him to look up.

His hand pressed against the vertical lines on the female’s back, “Using a knife here, does it hurt?”

Ellis obediently answered, “Yes.”

His fingers gently explored, caressing, “Can you feel this?”

Ellis’s shoulders flinched, “It tickles.”

【Scene censored】

“You can’t even handle this and want me to use a dagger? You’re trying to make things difficult for me.”

Xi Tian lay beside him, brushing aside his tear and sweat-dampened hair.

Ellis opened his mouth, but he had no strength.

“Sorry.”

Ellis closed his eyes, but he was met with the male’s embrace and gentle kisses.

“Are you that sensitive?”

Curious, Xi Tian lightly traced the vertical lines on Ellis’s back, causing the female to instinctively flinch.

As his body calmed slightly and he regained some strength, Ellis hugged Xi Tian back, burying his head in Xi Tian’s neck.

“Very sensitive?”

Xi Tian asked knowingly, once again caressing the vertical lines on Ellis’s back, his fingers seemingly ready to delve in again.

Ellis remained silent, letting his body be stimulated, trembling.

“You’re very cold.” Xi Tian pulled the blanket over both of them, covering their bodies.

“Master,” Ellis called him softly, still holding him tightly.

“I won’t use the dagger, but you must listen to me. Do as I say, understand?”

Xi Tian felt Ellis nodding.
