Narration:-The Elder's Judgment

The Jade Blossom Sect was buzzing with whispers.Their latest acquisition—the tiny, talking snake that had infiltrated their sacred grounds—had become the talk of the town. But while some of them were cooing over its "adorable" behavior, others were growing suspicious.

The Sect's Whispers

In the grand halls, disciples gathered around in hushed circles, their voices low and secretive.

"Did you hear? The snake... it's too weird. It talks like a human."

"I know, right? It doesn't even act like a regular beast. It's like it's pretending!"

"Some say it's a demon beast in disguise."

"No way. They say only demons can shapeshift. Could it be—?"

"The Sect Mistress said it was just a 'lost spirit beast.' But I don't know... something feels off."

At the far end of the hall, a tall figure with long silver hair entered, her presence commanding.

It was Elder Yanyu, one of the strongest elders of the Jade Blossom Sect. Her expression was cold, but her eyes burned with curiosity as she looked down at the small snake in her hands.

"So this is the creature everyone's been talking about?"

The disciples immediately bowed.

"Elder Yanyu, it's just a harmless spirit beast. We thought it was a lost child, but..."

Yanyu's gaze hardened. She took a step closer to Walid, who was being carried like a prized pet by a younger disciple.

Walid squirmed.

"Uhh, hey... I'm just a snake. Nothing special here. Totally harmless. Really! 🐍"

Yanyu narrowed her eyes, sensing something wrong.

The Truth Revealed

Suddenly, the air shifted.

Yanyu raised her hand, and with a gentle flick of her wrist, a soft pulse of spiritual energy washed over Walid. It wasn't aggressive—just a subtle searching of his true form.

"Hmm… something's off."

The disciples watched in silence, but Walid felt his heart race.

His human form—the form he had hidden away—was about to be exposed. He tried to shrink further into himself, becoming even smaller, but it was too late.

With another pulse of energy, his body began to glow.

"Wait, no—!"

But it was too late. The magic unravelled the truth. The small snake's body flickered and, in an instant, it transformed back into a human child—a teenager—with dark eyes and messy black hair.

Walid stood there, frozen, his tiny body now exposed. He had no choice but to face the music.

"…W-wait! It's not what you think! I'm a—uh—I'm not a spirit beast! I'm a human child!"

The room fell silent.

The disciples blinked, processing what had just happened.

"A… a human?! How did you transform?!"

"This... is impossible!"

"Only demons can shapeshift, right?"

Elder Yanyu stepped forward, her eyes cold.

"You're no spirit beast."

Walid sweat a little, unsure of how to explain himself.

"Uhm… well... it's a long story? I just... woke up as a snake one day? That's it! Totally normal. Happens all the time! 😅"

Yanyu raised an eyebrow.

"Do not lie to me, child."The Elder's Judgment

Yanyu's voice was sharp, and the atmosphere in the room shifted. Even the disciples backed off, feeling the heavy pressure from her presence.

"You are not fooling anyone."

Walid's stomach dropped.

"But... but I really don't know how I turned into a snake! I just... woke up like this one day!"

Yanyu stared at him, her golden eyes studying his every movement. Then, she stepped back.

"Hmm."

She looked to the side, as if consulting someone.

"Sect Mistress, what do you say?"

From the shadows, a familiar figure emerged—the Sect Mistress. Her presence was undeniable, her cold aura like a glacier. She stepped toward Walid, her steps silent, like a predator circling its prey.

The Sect Mistress raised an eyebrow at the child.

"A human child who can shapeshift? Tell me, boy... how did you come to possess such abilities?"

Walid nervously fidgeted.

"I—uh... Maybe it's just a lucky... fluke? I didn't ask for this! You've got to believe me!"

Yanyu's eyes glimmered with a dangerous light.

"There's more to this, isn't there? Speak the truth. What's the story behind your transformation?"

Walid shrugged, feigning confusion.

"Well... I did get hit by a lightning bolt a while ago. I think that's what did it? Yeah... I'm not really sure, though. 🤷‍♂️"

Yanyu sighed, clearly frustrated. She looked at the Sect Mistress, who gave a slight nod.

"We will continue this investigation later."

The Sect Mistress turned to the disciples.

"Take him back to the holding area. We'll deal with this later."

Walid winced.

"What?! Nooo, I don't want to go back in that cage! 😱"

But despite his pleas, he was carried off by the disciples, much to his chagrin.

System's Miserable Update

As Walid was locked away in a small room, the System's voice boomed in his mind.

Walid gritted his teeth.

"Not now, System. I've got bigger problems."

Walid rolled his eyes.

"Don't complain to me. You're the one who signed up for this disaster!"

Walid smirked.

"Hey, at least I'm a cute snake. Who else can say they've been a snake AND a human in the same day?"

As Walid sat in his small cell, he couldn't help but think about the crazy turn his life had taken.

"I went from a lost kid to a shapeshifting snake, now I'm in a sect full of women. What's next?"

He glanced down at his bare feet.

"Maybe the Sect Mistress will figure me out soon enough. I just hope she doesn't have me turned into some weird... lab experiment or something."

He closed his eyes, but the System wasn't done yet.
