"What's all the fuss about a pirate ship?" Whitebeard asked, his attention still fixed on the chessboard in front of him. He picked up a chess piece and placed it down with a decisive touch.

"Marco, please don't bother us with such trivial matters in the future," he added.

Larson smiled as he dropped a white letter on the table. Looking at the chessboard, he grinned with satisfaction, "I won."

Whitebeard sighed, clearly unimpressed. "What happened? Run it by me again."

Marco stood to the side, feeling completely ignored by both of them.

Frustrated, Marco scratched his head and walked back.

"Marco, do you want to go around the boat?" he asked himself.

He wanted to let the ship sail normally. After all, with the current strength of the Whitebeard Pirates, they really didn't have to give way to anyone. But thinking about the reactions of Whitebeard and Larson just now, he felt that it might be better to lay low.

"Forget it, let's go around the pirate ship in front of us."

"Understood!"

The ship adjusted its course and continued sailing forward.

At this point, the lookout yelled again, "The ship is following us!"

"Nani?" Marco was taken aback for a moment before smiling. "Then we won't leave. The other party is probably trying to take us lightly. Go tell the brothers and let everyone be ready. They definitely won't face us head-on!"

"Yes!"

Meanwhile, Whitebeard and Larson remained focused on their game, oblivious to the situation on the ship at that moment. Both had a personality where, once they were immersed in something, it was hard to distract them.

Seeing this, Marco felt reassured. If both captains were so calm, it probably meant they were dealing with a minor pirate crew who could be easily handled.

"Marco!"

At that moment, Gangplank and Rakuyo approached.

"I heard there's going to be a fight?" Rakuyo asked, gripping his huge meteor hammer. Compared to his long knife, this was his preferred weapon.

He hadn't expected his first battle as a member of the Whitebeard Pirates would come so soon.

"The other party is coming straight for us, clearly not taking us seriously. They probably don't know who the Whitebeard Pirates are and think we're weak. In that case, we'll teach them a lesson!" Marco stated confidently.

"Hey, sounds good!" Gangplank grinned, sporting a competitive edge.

At this moment, Thatch emerged wielding two knives.

"Shall we see who can take down the most enemies?" Gangplank teased.

"Do we need to inform the captain and the others?" Rakuyo hesitated to ask.

"Not necessary," Marco replied decisively. It was just a small pirate crew; if they needed Dad and Larson for this, why even bother showing up?

"Right," Gangplank nodded. "We can't rely on Dad and Larson for everything. We can handle small fries like this ourselves."

"Sure!" Rakuyo replied, excitement dancing in his eyes. "So what are we waiting for?"

...

Meanwhile, the pirate ship chasing the Whitebeard Pirates was lively as well.

"Rayleigh, do you think Whitebeard even noticed we've been following him?" Roger asked.

"This..." Rayleigh hesitated, embarrassment creeping in as he pondered. "Maybe he's trying to lure us in."

What kind of answer is that? Roger's mind raced with incredulity as he thought, What in the world is this guy up to? We came all the way back from the New World!

He turned around and shouted, "Gaban , speed up! Let's catch up with them!"

A man with long hair and sunglasses shouted back, "Got it!"

At that moment, two children suddenly burst out from the cabin.

"Hahaha, Shanks, you idiot! You got food all over your face! Hahaha!"

"Damn it, Buggy! You're actually laughing at me! Stop it!"

"Hahaha, can you catch me?"

A red-haired boy playfully chased a clown-nosed boy around the deck, providing comic relief while everyone else looked on, cheering them on.

"Buggy, run! Don't let Shanks catch you!"

"Come on, Shanks, catch Buggy!"

...

Rayleigh watched the scene with a smile, shaking his head in amusement.

Roger, however, continued to watch the Whitebeard Pirates, a thoughtful expression crossing his face. "Whitebeard's impressive; he's managed to develop his crew to this extent in such a short time," he noted, observing the ship trailing behind Larson and the others.

Rayleigh smiled and replied, "After all, he's as much of a monster as you are. It's only natural he'd grow this way."

Just then, Roger noticed a small blue dot flying toward them from the direction of the Whitebeard Pirates' ship.

That little blue dot was Marco, using his powers. He was flying with Gangplank and Rakuyo in tow while carrying Thatch on his back. The four of them zipped directly over from their ship.

Roger shouted in excitement: "Hahaha! Look! Whitebeard sent someone to greet us!"

Rayleigh nodded and was about to speak when suddenly he sensed something was off.

Do they come here to welcome anyone with weapons?

Rayleigh's eyes widened in alarm. "Damn it, those guys are here to attack us!"

"What?" Roger exclaimed, shocked. At this point, Marco was less than 50 meters from them, and he had noticed the weapons in Rakuyo and Thatch's hands.

"What is Whitebeard doing?" Roger asked, bewildered.

Rayleigh hesitated, contemplating the situation. "Could this be the welcome ceremony he prepared for you?"

"Hmm, I see!" Roger snapped his fingers. "This must be Whitebeard's way of testing our strength."

Is that right? Roger was running through possibilities.

Rayleigh approached cautiously: "Then, can I play with them?"

"Just be careful not to hurt them."

"Don't worry; I have my limits."

Roger shouted to his crew, "Everyone, step aside! Our friends are coming!"

"Friends?" Shanks and Buggy paused their antics, quietly hiding aside to spectate.

At this moment, Marco had arrived above the Roger Pirates.

"Get ready! I'm coming down!" Marco called out.

After he finished speaking, he brought his three companions down onto the pirate ship below.

The moment they landed, the crew around them stared in surprise.

Gangplank lowered his voice: "There are a lot of them. Are we okay?"

"What are you panicking about?" Rakuyo said calmly. "I can easily take down a hundred members of the LaBelle Pirates all by myself, so this is nothing."

Gangplank felt instantly reassured.

Marco stepped forward, chin held high, and declared, "Are you the ones chasing after our Whitebeard Pirates?"

Roger emerged with a smile. "Hello!"

What a nice greeting!

Marco thought to himself, they were here to pick a fight, and yet they were being so polite? This might complicate their plans for attacking later!

Roger continued, "The reason we are following you is that your captain is my friend, and I'm here to find him."

Marco considered the indifferent expressions of Whitebeard and Larson just a moment ago and sneered inwardly. This guy couldn't even come up with a decent excuse!

"Stop talking nonsense. We won't be wasting time here. Let's just get started!"

Rakuyo gripped his heavy sledgehammer tightly, already thirsting for action.

Roger sensed that Whitebeard really wanted to test their strength. In that case...

"Rayleigh."

"Got it."

Rayleigh stepped forward, sizing up Marco and the others, with a grin spreading across his face. "Let me play with you."

Play? Marco and the others exchanged glances, unsure of whether to laugh or be insulted.

They clearly didn't fully grasp what they were about to face.

Marco and his crew didn't regard Roger and the others seriously. After all, this was the East Blue! With their strength, the Whitebeard Pirates could easily dominate.

They felt that any pirate group showing up here didn't stand a chance against them.

Marco smiled and said, "Since you want to face us one by one, we'll play along. Bring it on!"
