Ennies Lobby, Luffy VS Kizaru;

"Borsa Lulu, your attacks are getting weaker. Getting exhausted already?" Luffy pulled back his fist and stared at Kizaru with a confused look. Just a few minutes ago, Kizaru was using most of his strength.

But now, he was putting a lot of water in his attack. Every single laser beam was dodged by Luffy, which made Luffy confused.

Despite his Future Sight, he could barely dodge some of his attacks. Kizaru had a strong Observation Haki. Even if it wasn't a Future Sight, it was enough when combined with his speed.

"You guy, can't you say my name correctly?" Borsalino stared at Luffy, who had inherited his grandfather's gene, with a speechless expression. But, quickly, his expression changed into a nonchalant look as he said.

"Why would I try my best when you are not doing the same? The longer this battle goes, the worse it will be for you. Your Haki consumption is much higher than mine."

"And, without using Haki, you can't even hit me."

Hearing his words, Luffy nodded his head. He understood what Borsalino was trying to say. But, even so, he can't go all out now.

He hasn't got the feeling. He needed that feeling to use the advanced form of Conqueror Haki.

According to Liam, there are only two ways to get this feeling. Either you have to see someone using Advance Conqueror Haki, or you must face it head-on.

Luffy had fulfilled the former requirement. He had sensed Liam's strength when he used the advanced form of Conqueror Haki. It's just that he couldn't replicate that moment.

So, he was trying to learn that moment but constantly using his Haki while bursting out his Conqueror from time to time.

Luffy dashed forward in Gear Second form and tried to punch Kizaru. But Kizaru easily dodged it by turning to particles of light.

When Kizaru reappeared, he was above Luffy with a lightsaber in his hand. He tried to chop Luffy by swinging his lightsaber down. But Luffy suddenly released his Conqueror Haki.

It was like a blast of Willpower that disrupted his concentration and gave Luffy enough time to dodge the attack.

"I have to say. Your Conqueror is starting to annoy me the most." Kizaru doesn't remember how many times he came this close to giving Luffy a finishing blow before he was saved by his Conqueror Haki.

It's not that he would be affected by his Conqueror like normal people. But when it is blasted on your face just when you are going to attack him, it creates some imbalance in his thoughts and movements.

And, Luffy who has Gear Second and Future Sight, can easily utilize that moment to dodge any fatal blows.

Luffy ignored his words and rushed toward him. He threw punches toward Kizaru in a barrage that caused Kizaru to counterattack using his light beams.

With his fists covered in Armament, those light beams weren't able to hurt him. Each collision was like an explosion, creating a disturbance and movements not just in the ground but in mid-air.

Luffy used his Gear Second speed to dash out of those explosions and quickly chased after Kizaru. But the next moment, Kizaru appeared in the sky and shot several massive light beams.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Those light beams weren't small like before. They were bigger than most grenades. As they fell, they began to cause destruction, shattering the ground beneath them.

But not a single beam of light struck Luffy. Even though he had to use Armament to save himself from explosions, he didn't get struck by those light beams thanks to his Future Sight.

Of course, he was so focused on those beams that he missed Kizaru's next move. A bright wave of light reflected on the wall next to him, and it moved towards him at light speed.

If Luffy had seen this with his Future Sight, he would've dodged it. But, while focusing on those light beams, Luffy couldn't concentrate on his Future Sight to deduce this attack.

Only when he saw that light reflecting in his eyes did he react. But it was too late by then. Kizaru appeared in front of him and kicked him in the stomach.

Boom!

Luffy crashed straight into the main building of Enies Lobby and began tearing those apart as he passed through those walls. His body finally collided with a large boulder before stopping.

Thud!

"Damn! Even though I reacted fast enough to use Armament Haki, it wasn't fast enough at all. I can't be careless when I am fighting Kizaru. At least, not until I get that feeling."

Luffy clutched his stomach. There was a big burn on his stomach caused by the heat of that light kick. Fortunately, he had used Armament Haki in time to save himself from the destructiveness of that light kick.

Suddenly, a red light appeared in his eye. Luffy immediately saw the future and entered Gear Second. His legs pressed extremely hard against the ground, and his body dashed upward.

Boom!

What he had dodged was another light-speed kick from Kizaru. This time, he wasn't concentrating on something else, so his Future Sight picked this moment pretty clearly.

Poof! Bang!

Luffy punched from the sky. His fist pierced through Kizaru's body and struck the ground. He was using Armament Haki, so it shouldn't have pierced through his body unless it wasn't his body.

Once again, Luffy's Future Sight didn't work. When he realized that the person who attacked him before was a Light Clone, he wanted to react and dodge the upcoming attack.

Splash!

Unfortunately, he was late. The lightsaber slashed the side of his body. Although he protected his body with Armament, the power of that slash was still strong.

At this moment, Luffy realized that Kizaru wasn't attacking him with a single sword. He had summoned two more clones to attack him.

Suddenly, his eyes turned red, and a massive Conqueror spirit burst out of him. The red and black lightning began to surge out of him like never-ending waves of energy.

When those clones disappeared, Kizaru used his special move to suddenly appear out of nowhere. His real body wasn't near Luffy. Because he knew that Luffy was going to use Conqueror Haki at one point.

So, instead of attacking him with his real body, he hid himself far away. With his light speed, he could potentially travel across the Ennies Lobby in a matter of seconds.

The moment Luffy used Conqueror Haki, he also used this technique. This time, he underestimated the outburst of his Conqueror Haki. It was not just overwhelming, it was also a bit different.

Bang!

Despite that, Kizaru managed to reach above Luffy and kicked him on the shoulder. Luffy was slammed on the ground, breaking several meters of the island and creating nearly a five-meter-deep crater.

In the middle of that crater, Luffy was lying, almost unconscious. That attack truly hurt him. His shoulder was bleeding, and he was feeling extremely weak. His eyes were closed as well.

But at the same time, his mind was extremely calm. The Conqueror Haki was spreading onto his body. Unlike before, when it would simply burst out of him, it was creating a layer around him.

The layer of golden energy that shrouded his body was none other than Conqueror Haki.

(A/N: Yes, I am going to use the animation style One Piece to describe Haki. That is much easier for the audience and myself to understand.)

This aura shrouding Luffy's body was intense, and at the same time, it was smooth. The dark lightning bolts coming out of him were smaller as well.

The moment he unlocked the Advance Conqueror, he opened his eyes, and a grin spread across his face.

Yonko, who was watching this broadcast for fun, stood up at the same time.

"Impossible! How can this brat use that?"

"He hasn't even come in contact with it. How did he learn that?"

"That brat has inherited the hat and the talent from Roger."

Every emperor had different reactions. Two positives and two negatives, yet they were all amazed at the display of Conqueror Coating.

The tears of joy and pride began to fall from his eyes. The absolute fact of his grandson achieving the level of strength that was impossible in the eyes of most people filled him with joy.

Sengoku glanced at his old friend with a complicated expression and sighed.

"Garp, sometimes I truly envy your lineage. Each one of you is born with talent."
