Afterword
Thanks for reading the first book in the Doomsday Dorms series, Vell Harlan and the Doomsday Dorms: ReFreshman. I’d love to say I had that clever subtitle in mind the whole time, but it was actually a pretty recent invention, to match the subtitles later books had. More on that later.
As that ending implies, there’s going to be a heck of a lot more going in Doomsday Dorms Book 2, and not just on the story front. During the hiatus I’ll be exploring potential ideas such as mailing lists, an official Discord server, a Patreon with early and exclusive content, among other possibilities. I’m also considering a change to the update schedule, moving away from the current tuesday/friday pattern, though what that might be I’m not sure yet. Be sure to speak up about anything I can do to make the reading experience better for you.
For our second to last note, I do want to address the future availability of Doomsday Dorms: ReFreshman. Like a lot of authors, I want to make a published version of this book eventually, which would involve removing it from its current platforms. However, I have no plans to take ReFreshman down until most, if not all, of Book 2 is serialized, and want to continue that staggered schedule for the remainder of the series.
And, to finally address Book 2 in the series directly, it’s time for our final note:
Vell Harlan and the Doomsday Dorms 2:
