But Kyro also realized that resonance was a double-edged sword. Its immense power had the potential to both destroy and heal. He had to learn to wield it wisely, for uncontrolled resonance could destroy him from within.
With each day of training, Kyro grew stronger. He mastered the different types of resonance: Kōtai (Physical Resonance), Shizen(Elemental Resonance), Seishin (Mental Resonance), and Undō (Kinetic Resonance). Even more impressively, he began combining these types to create new, previously unimaginable techniques.
One day, while training in the Ashen Tomb, Kyro suddenly felt something completely new. It was as if a gentle warmth and radiant light were flowing from his hands. Invisible light filled him, and the resonance seemed to flow effortlessly on its own.
Rioji watched him closely, his expression skeptical. "You're feeling something new, Kyro," he said. "You've mastered the first stage: Shodan. You can now control resonance. But there's much more to discover."
He gestured toward the hologram glowing on the wall of the training room. "You have a special potential, Kyro," Rioji continued. "You are a Shinsei. You are unique. And now, you must learn to fully master this power."
Kyro stood, gasping for air, sweat dripping from his brow. The final exercise to master Shodan had pushed him to his very limits. Beside him stood Rioji, his face as stern as ever, but in his eyes, there was a faint glimmer of recognition.
"Just in time, Kyro. You actually did it."
Kyro breathed heavily. "Did it? What are you talking about? What exactly have I done?"
Rioji stepped closer, his voice growing more serious. "I've been training you to master Shodan. That was necessary for you to even have a chance at surviving the trial."
Kyro frowned, confusion spreading across his face. "Trial? What trial?"
