[Ren's P.O.V.]

As the cold wind brushed against my skin, I peered down from the tree branch at the convoy of cars below. At the front was a heavily armored vehicle, followed by a more modest car in the middle, and a humble sedan at the back. I observed their movement carefully, recalling the objective: intercept the convoy and secure the sample of whatever they were transporting. This job would be the final step in completing my mission to gather $5 million.

"System, open mission," I muttered under my breath.

I could've finished this mission ages ago, but I decided to spend some of that money on myself—specifically, on a few guns and a brand-new Kawasaki Ninja H2R. Why? Because it looked cool, okay? It's been a while since I checked my stats, so I decided to take a quick look.

Sighing, I glanced at my Vampire Points. There were still so many points needed to upgrade to the next tier. I hadn't spent them yet because I needed to save for emergencies—like quick extraction or a safe hideout if things went south. Still, I couldn't help but feel a little impatient.

My attention returned to the convoy of cars moving steadily below. It was time to make my move.

I leaped from the tree branch, landing silently on the ground on all fours. Rising to my feet, I made my way to a bike hidden under a camouflage blanket. "Now's the time to put this bad boy to use," I thought, pulling off the cover and hopping onto the Kawasaki Ninja H2R. The engine roared to life, and I sped off toward the convoy, ready to complete my mission.

[Third-Person P.O.V.]

The convoy was driving in a protective formation when they noticed a bright light approaching from the front of the one-way road. The man in the lead vehicle saw a figure on a bike speeding toward them at an alarming rate.

"Get ready, boys! We might have company," a heavily armored man barked into the radio as the others prepared their weapons, determined to defend the cargo and eliminate the threat.

"Sir, it doesn't look like he has any intention of stopping," another armored man beside him said, his voice tense.

Without hesitation, the leader ordered, "Then ram him. The mission takes priority."

But as he turned his attention back to the road, the bike suddenly vanished, as if it had never existed. "What the—" His words were cut short when he heard a voice from behind him.

"How cold of you," the voice said, dripping with mockery and enthusiasm.

The man quickly drew his gun from its holster and spun around, only to find a figure dressed entirely in black. A black hat sat atop his head, and his face was concealed behind a raven-like mask. All his men had been killed with a single strike to their necks. He took them out in just a few seconds without making a sound, the man thought, his mind racing. He hesitated, but that hesitation lasted only a second—and that was all the time the masked man needed.

In a flash, the intruder grabbed the gun from the leader's hand and hurled him forward, impaling him with one of the sharp claws on his gauntlet. Without pause, the masked man ripped his hand free, tearing through the leader's neck in the process. He then snatched the leader's severed hand and used it to fire a shot at the diver in head.
