Chapter 3: Is this what is called perspective?
The dean was furious. It was bad enough that Chen Tian had woken up from his serious injuries, but now, he had actually managed to fool Su Wan Yue?
How could he let him get away with this?
"Someone, grab Chen Tian and hand him over to the police immediately!" the dean shouted.
"I don't think so."
Su Wan Yue furrowed her brows, her stunning beauty shining through as she glared at the dean. She then turned to Chen Tian and said, "Stop talking. Save my grandfather. Whatever conditions you have, I'll agree to them!"
Before Chen Tian could respond, the dean exploded in anger, "Su Young Miss, you're being foolish! If you do this, even if Grandpa Su dies, he won't rest in peace!"
At that moment, Doctor Lin stepped forward and spoke, "Su Young Miss, I treated Old Master Su a month ago. I can guarantee with my integrity that Chen Tian cannot save Old Master. He is just a trainee doctor in our hospital, and not even qualified to be my apprentice!"
Su Wan Yue impatiently replied, "All of you get out of my way. If there's even the slightest hope, I won't give up!"
Her heart was filled with anxiety. Not only was her grandfather the closest person to her, but she would do anything to save him.
Right now, the Su family's situation was unstable. If her grandfather died, the Su family would be thrown into chaos!
The identity of the culprit didn't matter anymore. As long as her grandfather survived, there would still be hope.
She grabbed Chen Tian and pulled him towards the bed. "Grandfather's pulse is gone. You must take a look. I choose to trust you, but if you deceive me, you will pay the price."
Chen Tian stood stunned, gazing at this woman, born into the upper echelons of society. Her exquisite, delicate face was filled with worry.
She was so stunning!
With her pale, flawless skin, she looked like she could shatter with the gentlest touch. Chen Tian couldn't help but glance at her more than once.
However, his pupils suddenly contracted as a string of words appeared in his mind.
"Spiritual Energy Diagnosis Technique!"
His mental focus sharpened, and at that moment, Su Wan Yue seemed to become a transparent figure made entirely of blood vessels. It was as if her entire body was woven from them, every vein clearly visible.
Compared to when he looked at Old Master Su, she was even more transparent.
What the heck, does this thing have X-ray vision too?
Chen Tian was stunned, and for a moment, his thoughts wandered.
As his mental focus deepened, he noticed that several blood vessels were blocked, and the blood clots were completely black.
Uh, that location... that's a private area!
Su Wan Yue noticed that Chen Tian had been staring blankly and his gaze seemed to be lingering in inappropriate areas. Her chest heaved with anger, and she shouted, "Pervert! What are you looking at?"
Chen Tian quickly snapped out of his trance, realizing he had been staring at her private area.
Seeing how blatant he was, Su Wan Yue raised her hand to slap him. Chen Tian hurriedly explained, "When you have your period, doesn't it hurt terribly? Have you taken a lot of medicine but still not found relief?"
Su Wan Yue stared at him, stunned, her raised hand frozen in the air.
"How did you know that?"
"That's your hidden issue. It's a result of long hours of sitting and poor circulation. The blood clots need to be dissolved, but medication is only effective for a limited time. If you don't take it seriously, you could suffer a rupture and die."
"You... you..."
Su Wan Yue was shocked. This was her chronic condition. She had been dealing with it for years and never shared it with anyone. How did he know?
"Pervert! Stop talking! My grandfather is dead!" Su Wan Yue was nearly in tears, too anxious to care about her own body.
At the same time, it seemed like a glimmer of hope had appeared before her eyes.
Chen Tian moved to the bedside and placed his fingers on Old Master Su's pulse, his movements practiced.
Although he was just a trainee doctor, he had come to this hospital to learn from Doctor Lin.
However, Doctor Lin, who was such a renowned figure, had never agreed to take him as an apprentice. He wasn't even willing to teach him.
Su Wan Yue glanced behind her and, with an unyielding tone, ordered, "Everyone, leave the room."
Doctor Lin, pointing at Chen Tian, was livid. "Miss Su, you're being reckless. Do you not know that your grandfather is already dead?"
But the dean, seeing that Su Wan Yue had made up her mind, pulled Doctor Lin aside and shook his head, calming down. Indeed, Chen Tian was just a trainee doctor. There was no way he could save Old Master Su.
By now, Old Master had already passed away. The dean knew that he could shift all the responsibility to Chen Tian.
With his ability to fabricate evidence, Chen Tian would be stuck in prison without a doubt!
The Su family was not just about Su Wan Yue.
Soon, other members of the Su family would arrive, and when they saw that Chen Tian had killed Old Master Su, there would be no way for him to argue.
The dean smirked, feeling at ease. Chen Tian was just a young fool. He was still too inexperienced!
At that moment, Chen Tian was fully focused, his mind racing with thoughts of the techniques to bring the dead back to life.
He raised his head, meeting Su Wan Yue's gaze.
"I need silver needles."
Su Wan Yue nodded, handing him a box of silver needles that had been set down by Doctor Lin earlier.
With the silver needles in hand, Chen Tian did not hesitate. His understanding of acupuncture techniques was flawless. Furthermore, before every needle went in, a scene, like a movie replay, would appear in his mind.
He couldn't make out the person involved, but he could feel a hand gripping a golden needle, constantly flicking it.
The first needle went in: San Jiao Hui Yin, promoting blood flow!
The second needle: Bai Hui Tong Yang, opening the meridians!
...
Just as Chen Tian was about to insert the third needle, a group of people barged in.
"Stop! Stop right now!"
As the group stormed in, they didn't even allow him to finish his treatment.
Su Wan Yue turned around, seeing her father, mother, uncles, and their children. The Su family, as a prestigious family in Jiangzhou, had many descendants.
But the question remained—why had such a large conglomerate been handed over to a young woman in her twenties?
The one who spoke was Su Wan Yue's father, Su Qing Guo.
"What's happened to my father? Wasn't he fine earlier?"
"Wan Yue, stop this nonsense! You're going to kill your grandfather with your reckless behavior!"
Su Qing Guo glared angrily at his daughter. If no one had told him, no one would believe they were father and daughter.
"He's trying to save Grandpa!" Su Wan Yue explained helplessly.
"Stop being ridiculous!" Su Qing Guo shouted, raising his sleeve in frustration.
"A young punk like him has no ability to save your grandfather! If anything happens to Grandpa, you will be the greatest sinner in the Su family!"
At this moment, another man, with a look of disdain, interjected:
"Dad, don't you get it? Wan Yue even went against you! Otherwise, how did she become the president of our company?"
"Now, at this critical moment, the whole family is supporting a marriage alliance, and yet Grandpa is sick?"
"This whole thing is way too coincidental. But now Grandpa is recovering, and this happens again?"
"Wan Yue doesn't care about anyone's objections. She's going to kill her grandfather in front of everyone!"
"..."
