Ultimate Being from the Tokonosu City

Chapter 56: Is it time to go to another world?

When Isao arrived at Tokonosu University, he didn't hold back and absorbed all of the DNAs of the dead professors.

While he had said that this world and his previous world were similar, there were some differences, such as the university in this country.

In his original world, Tokyo University was the best university in the country, but in this world, it was Tokonosu University. At this university, many professors have won Nobel Prizes, whether in Physics, Chemistry, Physiology, or Medicine. Some professors of architecture have also won the Pritzker Architecture Prize.

Nevertheless, as long as they were useful, Isao took all of them.

There was no discrimination against knowledge; Isao planned to get everything he could.

Frankly, if it was a normal human, it would be hard for them since their brain might be overloaded by information, but Isao could do it since he had the help of the system, which worked to support him like a supercomputer inside his head. More importantly, the brains of those professors were absorbed into his body, increasing the ability of his brain even further.

Still, Saya's ability, which was her brain, also greatly helped him since, as part of the protagonist's group, naturally, she was exceptional, and her IQ was so high that it reached the level of most geniuses in history.

As Isao replicated Saya's DNA, he naturally gained Saya's ability.

At the same time, with Doma's DNA, Isao could manipulate parts of his body, moving them around with ease and making it easier for him to absorb the bodies of those corpses.

"Isao, is it this book?" Rei came while holding a book about agriculture.

After arriving at Tokonosu University, they walked around many faculties, from engineering, science, economics, history, and agriculture.

Naturally, Isao planned to visit all the faculties, and at the same time, he wanted to visit other universities, too, since while Tokonosu University was the best university, it didn't mean all the faculties inside this university were the best. While other universities might be in the second, third, fourth, or just within the top ten, some of their faculties were even better than the ones in this university.

"Thanks, Senpai."

Isao checked the book and felt satisfied.

"Is that all?" Rei asked.

"I want to find a book about fisheries, but it seems that there isn't such a knowledge here."

"Fisheries?"

"If I am not wrong, there should be a fish farm here. It will be a good source of food for all of us."

"You really think it through." Rei was amazed. While the others were thinking about what to do, Isao had already thought about the future.

"Isn't it obvious? I want us to live well."

Rei smiled and said, "But don't work too hard."

"It's fine. You can comfort me at night, so it doesn't matter."

Rei blushed again and felt this guy was really perverted, but she didn't hate it~!

"I will~"

Isao smiled, then suddenly thought of something and asked, "By the way, you didn't ask me to search for your Komuro-senpai?"

This question made Rei speechless. "You want to save Takashi?" What did Isao mean by this question? At the same time, she also felt slightly vexed by his tone when he mentioned Takashi was quite at ease. There was no trace of jealousy, and Isao even anticipated that she would ask him, which made her speechless.

It was as if... if she left Isao, he didn't care at all!

"You don't want to?" Isao asked curiously.

"It was his decision to leave, and his action was his responsibility. At the same time, I felt like he should be okay." Rei wasn't sure, but she felt like Takashi's luck had always been good.

"Oh, I am so jealous of Komuro-senpai, who has a cute childhood friend to worry about."

"How could someone who stole the virginity of that childhood friend say that!"

Rei lightly hit Isao's arm and felt like... Isao wanted to save Takashi for a bad hobby.

"Why did you mention him so suddenly?" Rei asked in doubt.

"Well, I thought Naomi-senpai before. She was such a caring girlfriend who could even save her boyfriend in such a dangerous world."

Such a caring girlfriend made Isao feel a little jealous, and he was sure that Naomi would do anything to save Takezo, right?

"Bastard! Don't cheat on me! I won't let you sleep with Naomi-san!" Rei hugged him tightly and never let him go until Isao confirmed that he wouldn't sleep with Naomi.

"She loves her boyfriend so much; how can she cheat on her boyfriend for me?"

"Hmph! All girls are vixens! They will seduce you if you are not careful!"

"Like you?"

"I am different!"

As the two flirted, Saeko and Naomi saw everything.

While Naomi felt conflicted, and sometimes a certain idea emerged in her head, Saeko felt heavy. Watching how close they were, she couldn't help but think about the hug they exchanged at that time. Yes, she knew that she wasn't fit to be by his side, especially with how ugly she was inwardly, but her heart... she couldn't stop it. She wished that she could be emotionless, watching everything without feeling anything, yet—

'Even though I know that I can't get him...'

Saeko showed a lonely smile before she looked at the book in her hand and then walked in their direction. "Isao-kun, is this the book that you asked me for?"

"Oh, thanks, Senpai."

Isao answered with Rei clinging to him like a koala, yet Saeko talked to him as if Rei didn't exist.

However, Rei also ignored Saeko since Saeko was just a defeated dog.

In the battle to get Isao, Rei was the winner!

Still, Isao didn't bring that many books since it would take up a lot of their space, and he only brought an important one before they left to visit Rei's house.

At the same time, he wondered whether Naomi didn't worry about her parents. Instead, this girl only cared about her boyfriend, thinking that she was quite cold.

As for Saeko, she had told them that her father was on a business trip, and with her father's sword skills, everything should be okay.

Nevertheless, their trip to the university took a lot of their time, and they only arrived near Rei's neighborhood just a few hours before dusk. The sky was still bright, and the weather was all nice. However, they had to walk out of the car since the road in the neighborhood was relatively small, and there were so many of them on the way, making it harder for the car to pass.

Still, their luck was good—

"Mom!"

"Huh?"

A beautiful mature woman whose face resembled Rei's but with shorter hair turned and surprised. "Rei?"

Isao looked at this woman and thought she was pretty spunky. She was wearing Japanese police gear and holding a large naginata. On her back, there was a large bag; it should be filled with rations and many other necessities.

"Isao." Rei looked at Isao in anticipation.

"Slowly and be careful. There are still a lot of them here."

Isao wasn't sure why there were so many of those "things" around, but since he saw Rei's mother, then he was going to save her. With his baton, he smashed those "things" around the way.

His movement was smooth, agile, and graceful, yet also dangerous as in a single move, he could take several of those "things."

"Did you learn swordsmanship, Isao-kun?" Saeko asked when she stood by Isao's side

"No, I'm learning tessenjutsu."

Where did he learn it?

Isao learned it from Doma's DNA.

"Tessenjutsu? That's a rare art." Saeko was surprised since she didn't expect that Isao would learn war fan art, but she also wondered why Isao had only shown it now.

"Yeah." Isao nodded. "It has been a while since I last used it, but it seems that I can use it well."

"Your skill is much better than my swordsmanship."

"Let's have a spar later, then."

"That's a great idea!" Saeko smiled happily.

Still, soon, Rei met her mother.

"Mom!"

"Rei!"

The two hugged each other since they were glad that they could meet each other.

"Thank you for helping my daughter," Rei's mother, Miyamoto Kiriko, said while hugging her daughter happily and looking at Isao, who seemed to be the leader of the group.

"It's fine. It's something that I have to do."

"Something you have to do?" Kiriko then looked at her daughter, wondering what her relationship was with this handsome young man, but watching her daughter's shy expression, she understood instantly. Still, this also made her look at this young man again, looking up and down before she nodded in satisfaction. His appearance was good, and his courage was unmatched. His strength could also smash those "things" with ease.

"Rei." While having a reunion was good and all, they couldn't stay at this place, especially when they stood in the middle of the street.

"Oh, right, mom," Rei told her mother about everything and where they stayed.

"Huh? Really?" Takagi-san?" Kiriko was surprised, but she agreed with her daughter before she said, "Can you bring everyone?"

"...." Isao.

"Mom..." Rei looked at her mother helplessly. Saving her mother was fine and all, but everyone?

Don't ask for the impossible!

Still, Isao gave her a realistic answer. "It's hard, but in the future, it might be possible." He then told Souichiro and Yuriko about the plan to take control of the energy plants and water utility. "When everything is under control, then we can slowly save everyone."

"I see... thank you, and I am sorry for troubling you, Iinuma-kun." Kiriko somehow felt like she was the younger one, but she knew it was impossible to save everyone.

"What about your husband? Let's get him while we are here."

"I am not sure... but I am sure that he is alright, but if he isn't alright, then I am sure that he is doing his best to save people."

Isao looked at Kiriko for a while and said, "You are strong."

"Compared to you, I am nothing."

Kiriko could see that Isao was young, but the responsibilities on his shoulders were different from hers. Still, because of this, she knew that there was no need to hesitate anymore, and she decided to follow her daughter since she knew that her daughter needed someone and wanted to stay with her daughter.

Only—

"No! Don't get close!"

"Let go of me!"

"Please don't abandon me! Don't leave me!"

Suddenly, they heard a commotion at the corner of the road and saw several people being chased by those "things." Unfortunately, they couldn't run away, and they were all bitten. Yet, what was even more unfortunate was that those "things" were looking in their direction.

"Let's go."

Isao quickly said, and at the same time, he used his power to control those "things" to stay so they could run away and enter the car.

With everyone inside, Isao drove the car away and smoothly started his return journey to the Takagi estate.

"Welcome back!"

"Wow, you really came back!

"Amazing!"

Everyone was surprised by how safely Isao and his group returned at dusk. They even brought so many things, including luxury clothes.

"Wow, is this Prada?"

"You even bring a perfume."

"Can I really have these?"

Whether it was Shizuka, Kyoko, or Yuriko, they were happy with Isao's gifts.

"Take them," Isao said with ease.

Kiriko looked at Isao, then looked at her daughter. "He is so popular."

"He is." Rei nodded. "But he is mine."

"Good." Kiriko nodded since she would be lying if she didn't feel satisfied with her son-in-law.

Still, with all this, Isao also planned to return to the world of "Kimetsu no Yaiba." He had gotten all the necessary knowledge, and he planned to start his hegemony journey, but—

"H-Help! Please help!"

Isao turned and saw Takashi running in their direction, pathetically, while being chased by those "things."

Just enjoy it.
