Although Renji had created some distance from his pursuers, his situation was more precarious than ever. The wandering ninjas, recognizing his weakened state, unleashed their arsenal of attacks with relentless precision. One of them initiated the confrontation with Earth Release: Earth Flow River, a powerful mudslide that surged toward Renji, threatening to pin him against the jagged stone walls of the underground palace.
Anticipating the assault, Renji leapt into the air just in time, narrowly evading the shifting earth. However, his airborne position left him vulnerable to a second ninja's Wind Release: Air Bullets, high-speed projectiles that sliced through the air like deadly arrows. Renji twisted mid-air with agility, evading most of the projectiles, but several found their mark, ripping through his left rib, shoulder, and back. Blood began to drip steadily, staining his tattered clothing.
The wandering ninjas pressed their advantage, with another launching a crackling bolt of Lightning Release. The electricity struck Renji squarely, slamming him into a nearby wall with an explosive force. Chunks of stone crumbled around him as a cloud of dust engulfed the battlefield.

As the dust cleared, Renji lay motionless among the rubble, blood pooling beneath him. His vision blurred, but his will refused to give in. I can't stop here, he thought, forcing his battered body to rise. Every muscle screamed in protest, but the rigorous training under Uchiha Kagami had forged his resolve into something unbreakable.
The wandering ninjas hesitated, unsure if their target was still a threat. "Check if he's alive," their leader ordered.
A cautious ninja stepped forward and tossed a shuriken at Renji's limp figure. With a sudden burst of movement, Renji dodged the projectile and retaliated with Fire Release: Great Fireball Jutsu. The blazing inferno illuminated the corridor, forcing the ninjas to counter with Water Release: Water Wall. Steam billowed into the air as fire and water clashed, creating a dense fog that obscured their vision.
Before the mist cleared, Renji surged forward with a Rasengan in hand, the glowing sphere of chakra spinning violently. He slammed it into the chest of the nearest ninja, the impact sending the man flying into a wall. Renji followed up with a swift kunai strike, silencing his foe permanently.

The remaining three ninjas, momentarily stunned by Renji's unrelenting attack, quickly regrouped. One of them barked, "Flank him—he's not invincible!" They launched a coordinated assault, bombarding Renji with shuriken from multiple angles.
Renji deflected the projectiles with his remaining kunai, his movements precise but visibly strained. He darted toward the closest enemy, using Shadow Dance Leaf to close the distance. His kunai slashed in a wide arc, forcing his opponent to retreat.
Just as it seemed Renji had the upper hand, another ninja completed a sequence of hand seals, unleashing Earth Release: Stone Needles. Spikes erupted from the ground, grazing Renji's legs and forcing him to retreat. Blood seeped from fresh wounds, but Renji gritted his teeth and kept moving.

Recognizing that he couldn't win a prolonged battle in his current state, Renji devised a plan. He pulled out a kunai, attaching a paper bomb to its hilt before launching it toward his opponents. The lead ninja dodged effortlessly, smirking at the apparent futility of the attack.
However, as the kunai embedded itself in the ground, the attached explosive tag began to burn. "It's a trap!" one of the ninjas shouted, but the warning came too late.
Boom!
The explosion rocked the corridor, killing one ninja instantly and scattering the others. Renji seized the opportunity to press his advantage. He charged at the disoriented survivors, his movements a blur despite his injuries.
The second ninja tried to counter with a kunai slash, but Renji sidestepped the attack and delivered a devastating kick to his opponent's ribs. As the ninja staggered back, Renji followed up with another Rasengan, the spiraling sphere slamming into the man's chest and sending him crashing into the wall.
The final ninja, now the sole survivor, trembled as he faced Renji. Blood dripped from Renji's wounds, but his cold, unyielding gaze sent a chill down the man's spine. Desperation took hold, and the ninja hurled a barrage of shuriken in a last-ditch effort to take down his foe.
Renji dodged most of the projectiles, though one grazed his arm. Summoning the last remnants of his strength, he performed Fire Release: Phoenix Flower Jutsu, sending a volley of small, flame-coated shuriken toward his opponent.
