Uchiha Gate: From Konoha to One Piece

Chapter 77: The Fury of Uzumaki Mito & Tsunade

-----

"Kaito, are all those things you showed me about the future really true?"

"In the original timeline, the Uzumaki clan is already wiped out?"

"The Senju clan will completely vanish?"

"Nawaki will die in a conspiracy?"

"I'll develop hemophobia (fear of blood)?"

"Both Grandma and Kushina will die?"

"And Uchiha Madara is not dead but instead plotting something massive behind the scenes?"

"Even stuff about Ōtsutsuki Kaguya and the Ōtsutsuki clan—is all of that true?"

Tsunade asked Kaito all this with a serious expression.

After seeing all this information about the future, her mind felt like it was about to explode.

It was just too much information.

And if all of it were true, wouldn't her future be a bit too miserable?

It felt like she was cursed by the heavens!

And the one to blame for all of this? Her own teacher, Sarutobi Hiruzen.

For a moment, Tsunade's hatred for the Third Hokage deepened even further.

"That's what I want to know too!"

Uzumaki Mito, sitting nearby, also stared at Kaito with a stern expression.

"Will the future really get that bad?"

"Will Konoha truly be ruined by those monkeys?"

She felt like she might have grossly underestimated the depths of Sarutobi Hiruzen and his group's depravity.

"Those bastards should've died a long time ago!"

"It's all true."

Kaito nodded firmly. "You both already know this in your hearts, don't you?"

"Of course, the future is already changing because of me. I've awakened my powers and have begun altering destiny."

"I've already changed my and my mother's fate, altered things for the Uchiha, Kushina, and even parts of your destiny, Lady Mito."

"As long as it hasn't happened yet, we have the chance to change this terrible fate."

"But if things develop normally, all of this will come to pass."

"So, Sarutobi Hiruzen and his little group of four are essentially the common enemies of our three clans—and perhaps most of the clans in Konoha."

Tsunade and Mito exchanged a glance as Kaito continued explaining.

"The Sarutobi group still hides their true faces well, and they've misled most people. A lot of them haven't realized the truth yet."

"But smart families have started noticing the signs—like the Akimichi, Nara, Yamanaka, Aburame, and Inuzuka clans."

"Recently, their interactions with the Uchiha have been growing closer, using deals for medical pills, potions, and so-called 'miraculous' shellfish as excuses."

"But their real intention is obvious."

"Damn them! I've really underestimated their ambition and cruelty," Mito muttered coldly.

"It seems we'll need to adjust our plans and start drawing more families to our side. Once we're ready, we'll take them down and deal with them for good."

Uzumaki Mito's face darkened as she spoke.

Honestly, with her current power combined with the Uchiha clan, it was entirely possible to take out Hiruzen's group right now.

But doing so without a legitimate reason, one that could convince most of the village, would be unwise.

If they acted rashly, they'd only create panic and push people to side with Hiruzen.

Worse, destabilizing Konoha would invite the other four major villages to take advantage of the chaos.

"So, we can't rush this. We need the right timing and methods," Mito concluded.

She turned to look at Kaito, and the two of them spoke in unison:

"The Second Shinobi War."

They exchanged a knowing glance before bursting into laughter.

"Seems we're on the same page!" Kaito said with a grin.

"Exactly!" Mito nodded, her tone firm. "Since those monkeys used the war last time to secure their position and secretly weaken the Senju, we'll turn the tables on them this time."

"We'll plan carefully and use the war to tarnish Hiruzen's reputation, turning him into the greatest villain in Konoha and the Land of Fire."

"At the same time, we'll deplete the core strength of the Sarutobi and their allied clans."

"Finally, we'll bring them down completely."

"That said, there's a lot to consider here. We'll need to discuss this thoroughly."

"I'll have to call your mother over for this."

"Sure. I'll talk to her when I get back, or we can use the communication space to strategize together," Kaito agreed.

For now, his role as an advisor was enough. The execution would be handled by his mother and Mito.

After all, Kaito was still focused on training and growing stronger.

"Let's start with the communication space for now," Mito suggested, smirking. "But don't think you can slack off. You're a key part of this plan, got it?"

She couldn't help but laugh as she warned him, knowing Kaito's true nature.

He might seem diligent with his training, but deep down, he was a bit lazy. If not for his insecurity about his strength, he wouldn't be working so hard.

Once he could protect himself, he'd aim for a better life.

"Alright, I'll try my best!" Kaito just nodded.

"Kaito!"

Tsunade suddenly spoke up. "About the future you told me—what's the deal with that guy, Dan Katō? Something feels really off about him."

"Oh?"

Kaito raised an eyebrow, smirking. "Teacher, your reflexes are sharp."

"There is something off about him. That guy's actually a Root operative."

Hearing this, Tsunade's eyes narrowed. "So, he deliberately got close to me to win me over? Was that on Danzo's orders?"

"Was Danzo trying to ruin me, give me hemophobia, and disqualify me from competing for Hokage?"

Looking at the situation, the logic suddenly became clear in Tsunade's mind.

"Maybe," Kaito replied ambiguously. "I can't say for sure. I only saw fragments of the original future."

"But a lot of times, what you see isn't necessarily the absolute truth."

"It's possible that, at first, Dan Katō was following Danzo's orders with every intention of carrying them out."

"But midway, he might've been swayed by your charm, lost his resolve, and betrayed Danzo."

"Then Danzo, seeing the opportunity, killed him off and used that to crush you, leaving you scarred with hemophobia."

"Things in life aren't always black and white."

"Otherwise, how would you explain why, in the original timeline, you took Shizune—Dan Katō's niece—under your wing and taught her so carefully?"

Kaito felt that his guess was closer to the truth.

Not everyone in Root was inherently evil.

Many of them were brainwashed by Danzo into believing that everything they did was for the good of Konoha.

To them, Danzo's orders were absolute, and all of Danzo's actions were for Konoha's sake.

But among them were a few who retained their independent thoughts and a deep love for Konoha, refusing to become mindless tools.

"Is that so?"

Tsunade frowned. "Your guess does make sense."

"Wait a second!"

Suddenly, Tsunade realized something, turning to glare angrily at Kaito. "What do you mean by 'swayed by my charm'? You really need to watch your mouth!"

"You're making it sound like I'm some kind of seductress. That's too much!"

Of course, while she was scolding him, there was a hint of pride in her heart.

At least it proved that she still had her charm, right?

"Hehe, my bad, my bad! That was actually a compliment!"

Kaito grinned sheepishly.

Tsunade rolled her eyes. "Fine, I'll let it slide this time."

"Based on the info you gave me, it seems like the Second Shinobi War isn't far off."

"Even though your presence has caused some changes, I doubt the overall trajectory of the world will shift too much."

"In that war, Konoha suffered heavy losses!"

"Not only that, but even when Orochimaru, Jiraiya, and I teamed up, we still got our butts kicked by Hanzo the Salamander?"

"And then we were given the so-called title of 'Legendary Sannin'?"

"That's just embarrassing!"

"There's no way I'm letting something like that happen to me!"

"So, in the next few years, I'm going to train harder than ever!"

"When the time comes, I'll beat Hanzo on my own and settle the score!"

"Kaito, do you have any suggestions for my training?"

Tsunade wasn't the type to back down.

"Hmm…"

Kaito wasn't surprised by her fiery determination. Stroking his chin, he thought for a moment.

"Stick to training with Sea King meat and the full-nutrient pills alongside health-based techniques."

"Focus on strengthening your life force, vitality, and physical body."

"Since your combat style revolves around raw power and close combat, this will significantly boost your fighting ability."

"Additionally, I'd recommend prioritizing basic taijutsu and Armament Haki training."

"Don't neglect Observation Haki either."

"To increase your chakra reserves, focus on Primal Chakra Refinement Technique and Crystal Meditation as your primary methods."

"That's about it. Oh, and as for medical ninjutsu, you can treat it as secondary training for now."

"Shadow clones can help you manage that workload."

"As for ninjutsu, you don't seem to have studied much, right?"

"Yeah," Tsunade confirmed with a nod. "I've only dabbled in it a bit."

"That's fine," Kaito said, understanding. "Just master one defensive and one control-type ninjutsu. That should be enough."

"As for genjutsu, I suggest learning a few. It'll round out your fighting style nicely."

That was already a pretty packed schedule. Tsunade probably wouldn't have much room to slack off for the next few years.

"Alright, I'll follow your plan!"

Tsunade nodded firmly.

Clearly, she wasn't lacking in motivation to grow stronger.

After learning so much about the future, she was practically bursting with anger.

It's worth noting that Kaito hadn't shared too much detailed information about Kushina with Tsunade and Mito.

He only briefly mentioned that Kushina's death in the original timeline was caused by Danzo's machinations.

After all, he didn't want to create unnecessary trouble for himself.
