Volume 1 Chapter 88 - A response from the Author
Hello, dear readers.
In order to write and upload the drafts for the release, this author hasn’t slept much in the past three days. After uploading the drafts, they need to take a short nap.
To be honest, when I started writing this book, I thought it would be relatively easy, but I realized during the writing process that it’s quite intricate in the details.
The male lead currently has only one publicly known trump card, which is his knowledge regarding the world script. He is currently taking on the role of team leader.
In fact, there is another trump card that has appeared in the free chapters before, but the male lead himself hasn’t realized it yet, so I haven’t emphasized it. (It’s not related to time, hardness, or length… that’s what he gained through fitness.)
By the way, I’d like to remind everyone to exercise more. The author has had prostatitis for almost half a year. I was doing fine with exercise for a while, but now that I’m writing again, when I urinate, it turns into a sprinkler head, which is quite terrifying.
Now, let’s address some of the most frequently asked questions in the comments.
This book is a harem story, but I haven’t completely decided how many members the harem will have. In any case, it won’t be a full harem as there are many female characters in the later parts of the story. If I were to include all of them, it wouldn’t be enough even if I updated twice a day, seven days a week.
Regarding the character of Feng Yudie:
“This is my perspective as the author, which may differ from the readers’ perspective.”
As the original protagonist, she needs to undergo transformation and growth. If I give her a too perfect character at the beginning, it might lead to writer’s block and make the story too centered around her, violating a major rule of online novels.
However, making her too ordinary would conflict with her junior sister’s character.
So, after much consideration, I decided to start with a somewhat flawed character for her, specifically, a “Master Roshi” type of character in the early stages.
As the protagonist, she will still exhibit characteristics of Goku when it comes to significant moral dilemmas.
Considering her white hair, you can think of it as observing a civilized monkey.
Another point: Why did I introduce a lesbian protagonist (Feng Yudie)?
“This is my consideration from both the author and readers’ perspectives.”
Firstly, this genre definitely requires an original “protagonist.”
And, this protagonist will have interactions with the main character junior sister.
So, if I were to introduce a male protagonist instead of a female lesbian one, there is only 2 possible ending for this scenario:
1. The senior brother kills the male protagonist and takes his place.
2. The senior brother treats the male protagonist as a target of persecution or as a follower.
Otherwise, there would be too many contradictions.
If I were to introduce a normal female protagonist…
It would either turn into a reverse harem where many men revolve around the female protagonist while she was pursuing the junior sister…
Or, the term “protagonist” would lose its meaning, becoming an outdated theme from several years ago.
Both of these options have issues.
So, in the end, I chose to introduce a lesbian protagonist.
Who is Xi Yue?
This question is answered in “Chapter Five.”
She…
She Is the male lead’s dream lover.
She Is Duan Yu’s celestial sister.
Is our paper-thin person.
Her dad’s Liu Yifei.
Her mom’s Li Yuchun.
Her grandpa’s Anita Mui.
For an old reader’s question:
As usual, this story features a kitsune.
