Travelling To Movie World

Chapter 8: Meeting Janu For The First Time

I walked out of her office and left the building as I was leaving the receptionist was still looking at me like she was gonna eat me.

As I was walking toward my car, my phone rang. I glanced at the screen—it was Masood. I answered, and his voice came through.

"Sir, Vlad Enterprises has been fully established, and all my assets are now legally registered. I've cut off all ties to illegal activities, and I've made donations to the political parties as instructed. I've also sent them your photo so they'll recognize you when they meet you."

He paused for a moment before continuing. "Don't worry, sir. Even though the ruling party is in power right now, the combined strength of the opposition parties is more than enough to challenge them. The police, gangs working for the parties, and even the media are all under the influence of these political groups—and they will all be at your disposal. You can use them however you see fit, sir."

After a brief pause, I heard Masood's voice again. "And sir, regarding the matter of Jaya Prakash, the one you asked me to keep an eye on—yesterday, he met with S. Umapathi, the Chief Secretary (IAS). They discussed the land in his village that was seized by Dhanush, the son of the Chief Minister. After the meeting, Jaya Prakash returned to his village."

"Okay, I understand," I replied. "You did a good job." Without another word, I hung up the phone and shoved it into my pocket. Lost in thought, I made my way toward the car, trying to figure out what to do next.

As I sat in my car I started to recall the plot in the movie I remember that in the movie after meeting Jaya Prakash, Umapathi wanted to send Gana to meet Janu and send him to Jaya Prakash's village. So that means Gana will meet Hansitha first and then was forced to meet Janu at the request or order from Umapathi, his dad. Maybe he will meet Hansitha today or tomorrow because I don't know the exact day when they met.

But that means I'll have to meet Janu first and propose to her directly. She's a gentle, kind, and loving woman, and Jaya Prakash is also looking for a marriage partner for his daughter. In the meantime, I'll need to stop Gana from meeting Hansitha.

Upon returning to my bungalow, I sat down to strategize my next steps. I called Masood and instructed him, "Keep a close eye on Hansitha, our local MLA; remember, she's my woman. Donate ₹100 crores funds in the name of Vlad Enterprises to her office. Ensure her projects run smoothly and eliminate any obstacles or individuals causing her trouble. If anyone interferes, kill them; I'll handle any fallout. Finally, brief me on Veerendra's rape case status

"Sir, all the news channels are already reporting on his case, and the parents of the victim have filed an FIR against Veerendra."

Listen carefully, I ordered. "I want you to secure all evidence against Veerendra, by any means necessary. I must have those pieces of evidence. If Dhanush's people get in your way, kill them. Leave no one behind. Is that clear?"

" Yes, Sir, " Masood replied quickly, seeming afraid

There's one more thing, I continued. "I need you to gather information on Padma's husband. Padma is the woman living in Gana's house. Also, obtain photos of her husband with the other woman or his second wife. Additionally, send me the location of Jaya Prakash's house to my phone immediately "

That will be all for now," I told Masood while transferring the funds via my phone. "I've sent ₹120 crores to your account. Your fee is ₹15 crores, with ₹100 crores to be donated to Hansitha's office and ₹5 crores for miscellaneous expenses. If you require more, let me know." I have already hung up the phone.

I decided to visit Jaya Prakash's house to meet Janu. I'll say I heard that Dhanush's people are illegally occupying his village property, and I want to help because my company, Vlad Enterprises, is a big real estate firm. This excuse will work because I have evidence of Dhanush's crimes. If I help expose these crimes, Hansitha will be happy. Also, I'll release the video I captured of Gana fighting with Masood's people to keep Gana in jail. Masood's business is now legal, and I have political support. Masood will have top lawyers from Vlad Enterprises to help him. So, no matter what, Gana will stay in jail while I meet Janu.

I called Masood and sent him the hidden camera video of Gana. I told him to get help from political parties, the media, and the police to keep Gana in jail for a long time. I also told him to use the top lawyers from Vlad Enterprises to make sure we win the case against Gana and keep him in jail.

I checked the location of Jaya Prakash's house that Masood sent me. I decided to go there today because I'm free; my date with Hansitha is tomorrow.

I decided to drive my car instead of using my telekinesis. I entered the location into the GPS and started driving towards Janu's house.

I glanced at the GPS; it indicated that I had reached my destination. Stepping out of the car, I took in the sight of the house before me. Much like my own bungalow, it was exceptionally spacious and painted a pristine white.

I walked to the entrance and rang the doorbell. A servant opened the door. I asked to meet Jaya Prakash. He said, "Sir, please follow me." As I followed him inside, I saw many people were already there, including the three sons of the person Dhanush had killed yesterday, which I had recorded with the hidden camera.

Upon entering, I found Jaya Prakash seated on the sofa, engaged in a discussion with several individuals. They were strategizing how to resist Dhanush and prevent him and his goon, Obul, from seizing their village's land.

As I entered the room, the conversations ceased, and all eyes turned to me. Without hesitation, I approached Jaya Prakash and introduced myself with a humble tone, ''Uncle, I am Vlad from Vlad Enterprises.''

Jaya Prakash regarded me with an expression of doubt, then asked, ''So, Mr. Vlad, what brings you here today?''

" Uncle please call me by my name directly. Uncle I am here to talk to you about Dhanush " As I said this I noticed that the atmosphere in the room changed instantly.

" Uncle, you know that Dhanush is illegally occupying land for his oil business all over the place, and I've established an estate business myself, so it's only a matter of time before we clash over these lands. I've started looking into Dhanush's criminal activities, and I've found plenty of evidence against him. I also dug into the dispute between your village and Dhanush, and that's when I decided to help you. If I make these evidences public, it will harm Dhanush, even though he's the son of the current Chief Minister,". I explained it to him, thinking that this would serve as a good excuse.

'' Vlad, you may not fully understand the danger posed by these people,'' Jaya Prakash cautioned, his voice filled with concern. '' Just yesterday, Dhanush murdered the father of these three individuals and seized their property. These are ruthless people, and I urge you to keep your distance from this matter ''

As I listed to him saying this I knew my plan has succeeded.

'' Uncle, you need not worry about my safety,'' I replied with determination, inwardly pleased with my convincing performance.'' If I don't help you now, in your time of need, who will help me in the future when I need assistance? ''

" Well said Vlad I have to say you have convinced me. So what do you think we can do to make Dhanush suffer for the crimes he has committed " Jaya Praksah said with a pleased tone.

" Uncle, the first priority is to keep you and everyone around you safe," I began.

" I have evidence of Dhanush directly involved in several killings. If we take this evidence to the police and the media, you need to understand that Dhanush's father is the Chief Minister. He will do everything in his power to protect his son. Once the evidence is made public, he will try to erase all traces of it, including eliminating witnesses. The first person he will come after is you. And if he can't get the evidence from you, he'll target your family. "

Listening to me saying this Jaya Prakash panicked.

He quickly asked " When do you want to release these evidences to the media and the police ? "

'' Uncle, I believe it would be best for you and your family to come with me to my villa first and then release these evidences to the police and the media,' I said, concern evident in my voice. '' I have an advanced security team there, and the area is secure. Here in the village, everything is now controlled by Obul, who is working for Dhanush."

Everyone in the room was visibly panicked after hearing what I said. To calm them down, I quickly added, "Uncle, don't worry about the village or the people. I've already called in a security team, and they'll be working with the police to handle the situation. They'll ensure everyone is safe."

I knew I was lying about the security team. After leaving here, I'd call Masood and have him bring in his men to secure the place. Over time, Masood and his crew had transformed. After earning crores from me, they'd ditched their rough, intimidating looks and started to blend in as office workers, making it easier to move unnoticed.

Jaya Prakash weighed his options, then agreed, '' Alright, I will go with you.'' He proceeded to send everyone home, instructing them to await the arrival of the security team.

With everyone else gone, only Jaya Prakash and I remained in the room. Seeing him lost in thought, I reassured him, '' Uncle, don't worry about anything. I won't let any harm come to you or your family. "

Just as Jaya Prakash was about to speak, a loud car engine roared outside, followed by the sound of someone crashing into the room. It was Obul, flanked by his goons, who immediately surrounded both me and Jaya Prakash. I was stunned to see him here. According to the plot, I had expected him—or his men—to kidnap Janu to threaten Jaya Prakash, not to show up here right now.

"Jaya Prakash, you're not going to listen to me, are you?" Obul sneered. "Why don't you make things easier for everyone and just hand over the land?"

As he spoke, his goons began throwing and smashing things around the house, adding to the chaos.

Everyone in the house gathered in the living room, and as I scanned the room, I caught a glimpse of Janu. She was wearing a light cream-colored saree, her long silky hair cascading around her stunning face. She looked incredibly beautiful, but I could see the anxiety in her eyes. Without hesitation, she started walking toward her father.

Seeing her like that, my desire to protect her and keep her safe grew even stronger.

She didn't even glance at me, though I was standing behind Jaya Prakash at a distance.
