Transmigrator Commander of Girls Frontline must not be a Reckless man

Chapter 28: Chapter 28: Your now an Emperor!

"Commander? What's going on?" M1 Garand asked, frowning, upon hearing the old man's screams.

Earlier, it was indeerd this old man who came out to sign the lease contract for the warehouse they rented. But it had only been half a day since then. Why did he suddenly come to ask for a rent increase?

The lease contract, clearly written in black and white, was still lying in the glove compartment of the truck. Wasn't this a bit too untrustworthy?

"Oh, it's nothing, just go inside. You bought quite a bit of stuff. By the way, M1 Garand, can you cook?" Reno asked casually.

"Eh..." Upon hearing Reno's question, M1 Garand, who had been calm all along, was momentarily stunned. Her face began to change color gradually. "Uh, well, Commander, I'll go in first."

With that, she picked up the bags and walked straight into the warehouse. Simonov followed behind with a teasing smirk on her face, clearly intending to discuss M1 Garand's cooking skills later.

"Hey! You bastard! Listen to me! If you don't pay, I'll call the guards right now!" The old man, who had been silent for a short time due to the arrival of the Doll figures, began to shout at Reno again, waving his arms frantically.

"Okay, okay, I'm listening. By the way, old man, you really like money, don't you?" Reno waved away the smoke in front of him, then casually crushed the cigarette butt and tossed it into the wind. His eyes glanced around casually.

"Huh? Of course! Who doesn't like money! Only with money can one survive in this era!" Upon hearing Reno's words, the old man, who was initially stunned, immediately reacted. His eyes, which were emitting a red light, seemed extremely piercing in Reno's eyes.

This guy, was he controlling an illegally modified remote-controlled doll?

Reno turned off the jamming device in his pocket and smiled, "Sorry about that. We just came back from the contaminated area and our funds are a bit tight."

"In that case, use your truck and T-Dolls as collateral!"

"No, no, no, those are all my livelihoods. But I found some treasures in the contaminated area earlier. They're considered antiques in this era. Once I sell them on the black market, they'll be worth more than my truck and Dolls!" Reno reached into his coat and, ignoring the other party's refusal, grabbed the old man's hand and placed a round object into the hand of this old man who looked like a modified Doll.

Huh!?

Even though there was a T-Doll in between them, the person controlling it couldn't help but be shocked! Because what Reno had just stuffed into the Doll's hand was not some priceless jewelry or ancient artifact...

It was a grenade!?

Click!

Just as Reno clenched the Doll's fingers and before the person controlling the modified Doll could react, there was a slight click. The safety pin that held the grenade's spoon in place had already been pulled off by Reno!

"Oh, I'm quite attached to this thing. Do you mind if I keep a small portion of it as a souvenir? Of course, this alone probably isn't worth the warehouse rent. So as a special gift, I'll give you this century-old treasure. Here, let me hang it around your neck."

As Reno spoke with a smirk, the person controlling the Doll, who had regained consciousness, hesitated. They wanted the Doll to throw the grenade, but they were worried that their doll would be destroyed by the explosion.

While they were hesitating, Reno had already hung a curved square object around their neck.

'FRONT TOWARD ENEMY'

"Well, now you should be satisfied. I carefully selected these two treasures for you. As long as you hold onto the item in your hand, no one will dare to refuse you. And as long as you wear the thing around your neck and get close to them, no one will dare to stop you. Doesn't it sound like you're an emperor? Hmm?"

Reno pushed the Doll forcefully and turned it around. Then, he reached out and removed the dust cover from the Claymore mines, inserted the wireless detonator, and handed it over to the doll.

As Reno let go, the eyes of the old man who controlled the modified doll, which had returned to its normal blue color, turned red again. It walked forward slowly, as if it had lost control.

Meanwhile, Reno pushed open the warehouse door and, once inside, waved to the T-Dolls who were packing their things.

"Get ready, it seems we have visitors."

"Understood!" The T-Dolls, who had already noticed the trackers, were prepared for battle. Even Simonov, who had been clamoring for alcohol, was now putting on heavy body armor seriously.

"Commander, there are a total of seventeen stalkers. Do you want us to capture them alive?" M1 Garand cocked her elbow, pulled back the bolt, and loaded the ammunition into the chamber. "Those guys might be doll traffickers!"

"Yeah, I know. Don't hold back. If you can take them down, do it. I believe the Griffin commander who warned us about doll traffickers in the area will thank us."

Since the Griffin commander had already warned them about doll traffickers in the vicinity, the only people who would follow T-Dolls back here, apart from Doll traffickers, he couldn't think of any other identities these guys could have.

It couldn't be that they were attracted to the appearance of their T-Dolls and boldly came over to pursue to have a datd with the girls, right?

This might have made sense in his world before he transmigraed over, but in this world where dolls were everywhere...

Forget it, it was simply impossible. There were so many beautiful dolls on the street, why would they specifically target their own dolls?

Not to mention that M1 Garand and the others were armed. Even a fool would know not to chase after armed individuals. What would they do if they get shot?

As they spoke, Reno took out his computer and connected the jamming device. A clear image immediately appeared on the screen. The familiar and empty street was the road M1 Garand and the others had just walked down.

"What's this?" Seeing the image, several dolls gathered around strangely. Did their commander install surveillance equipment around the warehouse while they were away?

But why was the image still moving?

"That's the view from the old man's perspective. He's controlling a remote-controlled Doll. He's probably related to those Doll traffickers."

It hadn't been long since the old man showed up right after the Griffin commander left. It was unlikely for him to raise the rent so quickly without any ulterior moves.
