Transmigrated as Sukuna, but the Host is Yukinoshita?

Chapter 26

Chapter 26 Second Chapter Twenty-four Difficult Family

Yukinoshita Yukino was born.

She did not have any innate anomalies but gained the love of everyone in the Yukinoshita family.

Generally speaking, when a family has a second child, the older child might be neglected as their parents’ affection is spread to the new sibling. However, Yukinoshita Yono did not feel this way. She genuinely loved her cute younger sister.

Lin Qi couldn’t help but smile seeing the little girl playfully with her sister, her sweet smile lighting up her face.

As a child, Yukinoshita Yukino was not only clever and lovely but also didn’t yet possess that sharp tongue, which made her more endearing compared to what she would become later.

When Little 8 grew a little bigger and started primary school, there came another familiar face to their class, a lovely blonde boy called Hayama Hayato, through his father’s friend’s children.

The three kids were around similar ages and quickly formed a strong bond.

Yukinoshita Yono being the oldest had excellent grades and an outgoing personality; she soon became the leader among them, leading even other children playing nearby parks. Her leadership and charming personality made her a childhood leader, often admired and followed by peers.

Children at this age are usually content and happy, especially in a wealthy family like Yukinoshita’s where there were no worries, and they could simply enjoy life, even though the mother, being strict, sometimes had to be lenient due to age.

As she grew older, Yukinoshita Yono began learning various skills under her mother’s instruction. Driven to become the best person that lived up to the Yukinoshita name.

This led to spending less time with her sister and Hayama Hayato.

They occasionally hosted parties and watched their oldest daughter, Yukinoshita Yono, move fluidly between conversations with adults. Yukinoshita Yukino deeply admired this side of her sister, feeling inspired in her eyes, planting seeds of admiration.

Although people praised Yuno for her excellence, in contrast, she received praise mostly for being “lovely” and “well-behaved” rather than “excellent.”

This motivation to surpass her sister made Yukinoshita Yukino strive harder in her studies to match her sister’s achievements, perhaps the starting point of her development from a fanfiction group, “8569 Temple of Yukinoshita Yukino.”

“Turns out, Yukinoshita’s perfect fake smile was something cultivated from a young age,” Lin Qi tried to pinch Yuno’s cheek, but instead passed through, as if he were a ghost, unable to interact directly.

Unquestionably visible, since this place was a manifestation based on Yukinoshita Yukino’s memories. But it didn’t prevent him from merging his head with little Yukinoshita Yukino’s miniature form and examining the brain’s structure.

That’s akin to what one would call a pink-skull situation.

The illusionary timeline continued. Yukinoshita Yukino and Hayama Hayato rose to the fourth grade, with her sister who was three years older, Yuno, entering junior high.

One regular day, Yukinoshita Yukino arrived at school and found her indoor shoes missing from her locker.

Despite being able to move freely in this illusion, he was limited to the boundaries of Yukinoshita Yukino’s memories, thus couldn’t stray too far from her.

Even if he hadn’t seen who took the indoor shoes, it was obvious who the culprits were.

“Really now, you little brats, are you claiming to have committed the perfect crime? You like coming back to your crime scene to laugh?”

He watched the three girls, who seemed amused and secretive as they observed Yukinoshita Yukino, who was anxious and lost without finding her shoes. They mocked and giggled quietly, pointing and chuckling in that manner.

The hiding spot of the shoes was almost humorous; a short distance away, she just had to glance slightly to see the white indoor shoes on top of the corridor cabinet, inaccessible for her small figure even if she jumped.

Soon enough, Yukinoshita Yukino found her shoes on the cabinet, but only after asking a teacher for help. Even so, she stood for a long time outside the building, enduring odd stares from fellow students.

Holding her bag like she was being punished, standing stiffly, she looked both pitiful and stubborn under the scathing gaze.

If this was Lin Qi, he’d have just walked off in his own shoes.

And thus, it began.

Beyond hiding her shoes, Yukinoshita Yukino faced all sorts of bullying and exclusion throughout school; flutes returned with spit, team tasks being avoided altogether.

At school, apart from Hayama Hayato, no one wanted to talk much to her, let alone join her, and they had their groups. Back home, her sister Yono struggled with the chores assigned by their strict mother and didn’t have much time for her either.

Even conversations about her school experience with her mother resulted in her being told to toughen up, not being weak.

Perhaps in the mother’s eyes, this was meant to develop independence, but it neglected the serious problem of a young girl handling social challenges alone.

Without reason, she found herself universally disliked.

Whenever Lin Qi saw Yukinoshita Yukino hugging her doll in a corner of her room, he couldn’t help but want to confront those troublesome kids and even Hayama Hayato.

Speaking of Hayama Hayato, Lin Qi felt there was something wrong with him.

In early schooling, even a light jest from Yono made him turn red instantly. Typically, children at kindergarten or early elementary should not have any romantic interests, but boys with boys and girls with girls were the norm back then.

Yet, this kid Hayato showed affection toward Yono from a very young age, which surprised Lin Qi about Japanese early maturity.

It wasn’t because of his fondness for Yuno that prompted Lin Qi to want to slap Hayato twice.

An observer can provide clarity. In Lin Qi’s view, Yukinoshita Yukino faced exclusion because she was close to Hayato, drawing female jealousy.

With courage, he stepped out to protect her, mimicking the manipulative interactions of Yuno among adults, attempting to mediate between Yukinoshita and her peers. Yet, his clumsy efforts turned to exacerbation, worsening her situation.

Yukinoshita Yukino’s exclusion didn’t improve; instead, it intensified. Finally noticing the issue, Yukinoshita Mother sent her abroad after she finished elementary school.
