Transformers Megatron Peace Through Tyranny (TFP S.I)

Chapter 3: AUTOBOT INTERLUDE

The Autobot base's proximity sensor blares an urgent warning, causing everyone to snap into action.

Agent Fowler strides into the base with a determined air, his face etched with weariness from the relentless struggle against the Decepticons.

Agent Fowler: "We've got Decepticon activity all across major landmarks worldwide. I need you're help Prime or the, Pentagon will escalate their response."

Optimus Prime stands tall, his optics focused and unwavering, reassuring Agent Fowler.

Optimus Prime: "If the Decepticons are behind this, we will put an end to it."

Relief washes over Agent Fowler's fatigued features as he realizes that Team Prime will handle the crisis.

Optimus Prime: "Autobots, transform and roll out."

With the precision that only Autobots possess, they transform and, following Ratchet's lead, exit the base through the groundbridge, ready to confront the Decepticon threat.

____

As the Autobots materialize near Soundwave's location, they remain oblivious to the legendary relic of untold power about to be taken.

____

Soundwave's internal processors churn with a sense of duty and purpose. Lord Megatron has entrusted him with a mission of unparalleled significance.

Having already secured all the other Iacon relics, the Omega Keys, Skyquake's stasis pod, and salvaged all valuable assets from the Harbinger before its detonation, Soundwave knows that the completion of this mission hinges on acquiring the Star Saber.

The task at hand is clear: cut through the very mountain that cradles the Star Saber, then groundbridge it directly to the Moon, where Lord Megatron awaits its arrival.

Soundwave detaches Laserbeak, his ever-watchful scout, and sends it to survey the perimeter.

His loyal companion takes to the skies, a silent sentinel on the lookout.

As Soundwave commences the painstaking process of cutting through the mountain, his thoughts drift to Lord Megatron.

The Decepticon leader appears more resolute and self-assured than ever before.

Doubts may linger about how Lord Megatron has come by knowledge of these ancient relics, but Soundwave knows his place – to serve without question and to ensure Lord Megatron's rule.

With a final calculated slice, the mountain surrenders the Star Saber, and Soundwave prepares to groundbridge the relic to the predetermined location on the Moon.

Suddenly, a notification flashes across his internal display.

[PING]

[AUTOBOT GROUNDBRIDGE 10 MILES FROM CURRENT LOCATION]

Laserbeak's surveillance report informs Soundwave of an approaching Autobot groundbridge.

[LASERBEAK, RETURN TO ME]

With a sense of urgency, Soundwave initiates a groundbridge.

But just before leaving, he turns to the Autobots and utters in his real voice.

Soundwave: "Soundwave superior, Autobots inferior."

He then enters the groundbridge with the massive boulder holding the Star Saber, returning to the safety of the Decepticon base.

---

The Autobots arrive on the scene, weapons at the ready, only to witness Soundwave speak and then vanish through a groundbridge, a colossal boulder disappearing with him.

Confusion and frustration ripple through their ranks as they realize they've arrived too late to thwart Soundwave's operation and that Soundwave spoke for the first time in millennia.

Optimus Prime acknowledges the situation grimly.

Optimus Prime: "Ratchet, open a groundbridge. We were too late."

A portal opens nearby, and Optimus Prime gives the order to return to base.

Optimus Prime: "Autobots, return to base."

They step through the portal, their resolve unwavering, knowing that their battle against the Decepticons is far from over.

____

Optimus Prime Pov:

As the Autobots retreated through the groundbridge, a heavy silence settled over the group.

Optimus Prime's thoughts, however, were anything but quiet.

His mind was a storm of memories, regrets, and the haunting echo of his last battle with Megatron.

It had been a fight that would be remembered for eons.

The battlefield had become a theater of raw power and unwavering resolve, as Optimus and Megatron had faced each other one final time.

Optimus remembered the fierce determination in Megatron's crimson optics, the same optics that had once sparkled with hope and purpose for a new Cybertron, one where any bot could choose to be who they wanted to be.

That spark of camaraderie and friendship had long been extinguished, replaced by the relentless pursuit of their opposing ideologies.

As the battle had raged on, Optimus had seen how determined Megatron was to end it and win.

His old friend, now turned bitter enemy, had become a shadow of his former self.

The Decepticon leader's actions had grown more ruthless, his tactics more brutal, and his ambitions more destructive.

In the end, it had come down to a moment of truth.

With an underhanded tactic worthy of a Decepticon, he had delivered a final, devastating blow to Megatron.

The battle had been fierce, and the outcome uncertain until that moment.

Optimus watched as Megatron fell, his body engulfed in a blinding burst of energy.

Optimus had stood there, watching the explosion with a heavy heart.

Optimus couldn't help but mourn the loss of his old friend.

In the depths of his spark, Optimus had always held onto the hope that Megatron could be redeemed, that the spark of goodness that had once burned within him could be rekindled.

But with each passing battle, that hope had grown dimmer, and now, it felt like a distant memory.

As he led the Autobots back to their base, Optimus couldn't shake the feeling of loss that weighed heavily upon him.

Optimus knew that their battle was far from over, and he would continue to fight for the safety of Earth and the future of their kind.

(I hope this was okay, I'm not quite sure how the Optimus Prime or Soundwave bit went they are complex characters.)
