Madeleine gripped the steering wheel tightly. As soon as Howard’s car moved away, she pressed the accelerator, made a U-turn at the upcoming intersection, and followed Howard’s car closely.

Howard’s car eventually stopped at the Four Seasons Hotel about one kilometer from Mix Bar.
