This Is Definitely Not Dragon Ball!!

Chapter 39: Repairing the Spaceship

"I have granted your wish. Farewell."

Shenron's majestic voice echoed through the air. Then, with a flash of light, the seven Dragon Balls shot off in all directions.

"Goku!"

"Got it!"

Reacting swiftly, Yuujin and Goku shot into the air. Each grabbed one Dragon Ball, while the remaining five dispersed into beams of light across the world.

"Ah, my three-star ball has turned to stone!"

Goku had caught the three-star ball, while Yuujin had the four-star ball. Seeing the three-star ball in her hand turn to stone, Goku exclaimed in surprise.

"Don't worry. In just one year, the Dragon Balls will regain their power and return to their original form."

Patting Goku on the head, Yuujin reassured her.

"They'll go back to normal, huh…"

Hearing Yuujin's words, Goku smiled brightly again. She tied the three-star ball with a string and hung it back around her neck.

After all, it was a gift from Grandpa Master Roshi, and losing it wouldn't be good.

Gurgle, gurgle…

"Yuujin, I'm hungry."

Goku looked pitifully at Yuujin as the sound of her stomach rumbled.

Perhaps because he had just undergone a body transformation, Yuujin also felt hungry, as though every cell in his body was craving energy.

"Why don't you catch some big fish from the sea, and I'll gather some wild vegetables and seasonings from the forest? We'll make a big meal."

"Yeah, sounds good!"

Goku gleefully sprinted away and leapt into the sea, while Yuujin smiled and shook his head, then also leapt toward the forest.

After feasting on several enormous fish, many times larger than their own bodies, both Yuujin and Goku replenished their energy. They then left the island, riding on their Black Nimbus and Flying Nimbus, continuing their journey of training.

One year later —

Whoosh!

High above a certain forest, two figures wrapped in fiery auras flew by with a roar.

They were none other than Yuujin and Goku!

Both were using the Flying Technique to soar through the air. Although they weren't quite as fast as their Nimbus clouds, their speed was impressive, stirring up turbulent air currents in their wake.

As if searching for something, Yuujin, who was flying ahead, suddenly came to a stop. Goku, unable to stop in time, crashed into his arms.

"Hahaha…"

"I caught you, Yuujin! I caught you!"

Hugging Yuujin's shoulders, Goku cheered joyfully.

Yuujin, ruffling her hair, couldn't help but feel exasperated.

This girl, no matter how much she grows, still acts like a little kid.

Holding Goku, Yuujin slowly descended to the ground. Several lurking beasts in the forest became restless, but a mere hint of Yuujin's aura sent them fleeing.

"Yuujin, what are we doing here?"

Goku asked, puzzled, thinking Yuujin had stopped to hunt for food. But when he deliberately scared off the wild beasts, she didn't understand his intentions.

"We're here to find something."

Yuujin responded.

After setting Goku down, still confused, Yuujin confirmed the location, then struck the ground with a powerful punch.

With a loud boom, the ground collapsed, revealing two gigantic, egg-like spaceships.

"Wow! Big eggs! There are two huge eggs buried underground!"

Goku exclaimed in astonishment.

"Silly girl, those aren't eggs. They're spaceships."

Amused, Yuujin knocked on Goku's head lightly, half-jokingly.

"Spaceships?"

"Yeah, they're ships that can take us into space with a 'whoosh'!"

"Ships that can take us into space with a 'whoosh'?"

"That's right. Got it?"

"Not at all."

"…."

Covering his face, Yuujin sighed deeply.

This silly girl, always thinking about food, why do I even bother explaining these things to her? It's like talking to a brick wall.

Since she couldn't understand what a spaceship was, Goku gave up on thinking about it. Whatever Yuujin said it was, she figured that was good enough. She just needed to follow him.

While Goku went off to play, Yuujin carefully inspected the two spaceships.

He had to admit, the quality of these spaceships was impressive. Despite being buried underground for eight or nine years, only a few small areas were damaged or rusted. The main systems and functions were still intact, requiring only minor repairs to be fully operational.

Back on Planet Vegeta, Yuujin had done his share of spaceship repairs. If the damage had been too severe, he might have been out of luck, but with these minor issues, he was confident he could fix them.

Over the next few days, Yuujin and Goku settled in the forest.

While Goku spent her time playing wildly in the forest, Yuujin ventured to a nearby town to buy materials, repairing the spaceships in between.

Three days later, the two gleaming, newly-repaired spaceships stood before them.

"That's amazing! Yuujin, you're incredible!"

Goku bounced around, cheering, while Yuujin wiped his nose, feeling a bit smug.

"So easy!"

"Goku, let's go hunting. Tonight we'll have a big feast, and tomorrow we'll head into space."

"Yeah!!!"

The two of them leapt into the forest, causing chaos in the nearby woods.

Yuujin was now 15 years old, and Goku had turned 9. It had been nine years since they escaped from Planet Vegeta and arrived on Earth.

They had spent five years training with Master Roshi on his island, one year at Korin Tower, and another three years traveling the world in search of the Dragon Balls, honing their skills.

In just nine short years, Yuujin had grown from a weak Saiyan with a mere battle power of 18 to the strongest being on this planet. He was now confident that he could easily defeat Kami, the god from Namek.

However, as his power grew, Yuujin realized he had reached a bottleneck. Staying on Earth wouldn't allow him to grow any further.

So, Yuujin decided it was time to take Goku and venture into space for more advanced training!

Although the universe was dangerous, filled with powerful combat races, Yuujin was confident that with a bit of caution, they could stay safe and grow stronger.

After a night of feasting, the next day—

"Goku, don't touch any of the buttons inside the spaceship. After we sleep, we'll arrive at the alien planet."

In the spaceship, Yuujin warned Goku as he fitted her with a life support device.

"Okay, I got it."

Though she was curious about everything inside the spaceship, Goku obediently agreed. Since Yuujin told her not to touch anything, she wouldn't.

After confirming everything was in order, Yuujin closed the hatch for Goku and then boarded another nearby spaceship, equipping his own life support system.

When Planet Vegeta was destroyed, Yuujin didn't feel much, but towards Earth, he had a deep sense of attachment and emotion. Now that he was about to leave, a sudden, indescribable reluctance rose in his heart.

However, that reluctance was quickly replaced by a firm resolve.

Whether it was for himself or for this planet, he needed to go out, train, and grow, becoming stronger and stronger!

"Goodbye, Earth. I will return."

Without further hesitation, Yuujin closed the hatch and pressed the start button. Instantly, both spaceships floated into the air, then accelerated sharply, with long trails of energy behind them, disappearing into space in the blink of an eye...
